Jolyne was let down by the fact she has one of the least competent crews in the entire series.
Anasui's and Hermes' stands were just glorified punch ghosts because their gimmicks were rarely useful for any situations. No real varied powersets like 4 or 5's crew powers. Only weather report and FF had reasonable powers and they both kicked the bucket.
Literally her dads fault any of this happened.
It's not going to happen. Part 6 is the worst selling, most reviled and hated of all JoJos.

Part 6 is the one I am waiting for since the very first anime season. Liked 3 way less as anime, dragging on for too long, same with 4. 5 I surprinsingly prefer over the manga, wasn't much of a fan 5 there though so it's easier to surprise me in a positive way and 6 is aside from 2 my favorite part anyway.
The only part where the Jojo is female and she fails. Jojo is based and redpilled in this regard. Women are useless.

JoJo part 7 is very over-rated, it has horrible pacing and forgettable fights in the first half.
It is a solid 8/10 manga.

Part 6 had the weakest crew with the weakest stands save for WR and SF. The first half was just flat out garbage. It only begun to pick up during the end, and that's far too late.
Part 7 may have weak parts but it's held by the journey itself, and the setting.

Jojolion is my 2nd favorite part next to Part 4 so I don't want to be disappointed AGAIN by an anime adaptation after waiting for so long that's why I asked if Japan liked Part 8, if they don't like it then I know I won't have to expect a good looking adaptation.
From what I know Japan loves Part 4 and even that ended up looking like shit so who knows what the truth is.
I felt the same way myself but I actually came to like Part 6’s first half on a second read. It’s incredibly unorthodox even by Araki’s standards but if you go in not expecting more of the same of 1-5 it’s surprisingly charming and engaging. I agree the cast was under-utilised though, they were pretty good characters but beyond how they interacted with Jolyne they got very little to do which really kills it compared to the varied interactions everyone in 5 got with each other.

Dio’s ‘heaven’ is literally just being free from fate so he can do what he wants. It’s not that difficult to grasp and it’s explained pretty clearly, he’s philosophical in Parts 1 and 3 when he isn’t spazzing out about the Joestars.
I just don't like part 6's ending because I don't like saying goodbye to all these characters over the parts. It feels like Araki said fuck it, threw all his work in the trash and decided to start making fanfiction... of his own series.
DIO has been philosophical since part 1. Most of the time we saw him in part 3 he was spitting out philosophy to people.

I reread the parts annually, and my thoughts have generally stayed the same. You go from the tight knit crew in 5 to the crew where a member goes afk for a while. You get a crew where the stand abilities itself are just not good, and are reverted to punch ghost status as a result. On top of that, you get a villain whose stand is overloaded from the very beginning. Jolyne had it rough.

After breaking out, she assists in every fight right up to the end except for Bohemian Rhapsody, but isn’t the focused on character for any of them.
This is entirely conditional on everything set up early not being dropped.

Think about how pucci at 15 years old was compared to someone like Hol Horse. Pucci was a young boy of faith yet impressionable but for good reasons. He simply caught DIO's interest. Pucci wasn't afraid of DIO and didn't lay down his own view to felate him. DIO is incapable of love but he grew to care for Pucci because of what Pucci could do for him and vice versa. Pucci loved DIO because he helped him gain confidence and grow as a person. People memeing them as gay actually downplay their relationship. DIO respected Pucci because he wasn't a yes-man like Vanilla. People constantly try to downplay him by saying he's just copying DIO but during the green baby arc Pucci outwardly states he's using DIO's plan for his own goal.

The clear message is the first reset wasn't finished because it hadn't caught up to the present of when it started and killing Pucci redid shit so the gang were revived into the second reset universe. They may not remember what happened considering Pucci being gone seemingly radically altered their lives but it's them in all but name (literally).
It's no different to someone going back in time and shooting Pucci in the face before he could fuck their lives up and then meeting them all in the new timeline it created. It's the same group of people who've just lived a different life, their souls are the same.

They show Johnny's dark determination in Jonathan's eyes so maybe 7 was teased as well. I hope the opening for Part 7 is like an alternate Son No Chi No Sadame where it shows flashes of manga scans counting back from Part 9 and all the way down until it fades into johnny's eyes that have the dark determination in them. That same exact sequence is what Part 7 needs for an opening.

This has nothing to do with anything. JJL has been running for a while and while it's not going to end that soon it isn't going to take 10+ more years. It was a brand new monthly part starting in 2011 but it'll take another 5 or so years to finish part 7's anime, if even that soon. If part 8 isn't over by then it'll be pretty close.
