In order of how much I liked it Fire Force Astra JK no mudazukai DYEL Granbelm Sounan Desu Ka Tejina-senpai, UchiMusume, Sacred Beasts around equally Dr Stone Have yet to check out the Okada thing and the new adventures of Waver
I mean as far as first impressions go it went as well as it could. Does it get bad later or something?
Isaiah Collins
okay, if this show is trying to be serious, why is she still going to school? i am getting pretty annoyed at how she is literally a national treasure and even after people try to abduct her she is still going to school.
Aiden Parker
God Tier Dr Stone Fire Force
Great Tier Araburu Kisetsu Uchimusume Symphogear Kasute Kami
Imagine not watching the 3 first episodes all together to decide if the anime is good.
Camden Jenkins
currently on ep 9. a lot of parts are pretty hype, BUT THE GOVERNMENT SHIT MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. WHY COULDNT THEY HAVE JUST MADE THE ORGANISATION SOMETHING NOT RELATED TO THAT. i cant take anything serious in its current setup. like how the fuck is she not been drafted into some military facility for constant training. i will finish this season in a few hours and probably not watch season 2 unless i get really attached to chris
Luis Ross
So far I've enjoyed Symphogear, dumbell, Tejina-senpai, survival girls, and Okada. Joshikousei was funnier than I expected. Granbelm and Astra could go either way.
>implying the budget is not what makes it good As long as it continues to have cool hot blooded action and nothing else comes along with actually original and/or impressive storytelling and themes (sure as hell hasn't yet, BEM's the wild card for that at the moment but I'm not holding my breath) then it will remain as my AOTS. Same thing that happened last season.
S2 makes Chris turn from best girl into undisputed best girl of all time.
Josiah Walker
Using a symphogear is connected to emotional state. She needs to live a normal life and have someone like Miku. If you watch Symphogear G you'll see what happens when they are just military experiments.
Connor Anderson
oh yeah, thats why chris cant transform and needs to use that armor, OH WAIT.
David King
They don't like it so much as they like the experience of watching it while it airs.
Gavin Mitchell
You mean when she hates signing and gets her shit kicked in? Chris is the most powerful gear. Nigger just watch the show.
Oliver Anderson
>Kanata no Astra >Fire Force >Vinland Saga >Dr. STONE >UchiMusume >Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru >DanMachi This is a pretty good looking season
1. as you said, its good animation. I am not interested in the story, but the animation quality is sufficient to carry it while it lasts.
2. Soul Eater author.
Jace Thompson
It's just a transformation bro.
Samuel Thomas
anything would be better than last season
Daniel Reed
Not picking up Katsute, Enen, Symphogear, watching everything else mentioned in this thread.
This. There were some shows I enjoyed, but it was an exceptionally shit season.
Grayson Long
I've been alive for too long to keep doing this. It's gonna be the same thing in a different wrapper. Not even good animation can get me interested. Might aswell just remaster existing stuff.
Jose Ross
If you're still under 30, I'm going to laugh at you. I for one have low tolerance to shounen fighting shows, but I still watch some occasionally.
Isaac Garcia
Yea Forums liked soul eater
Jace Rogers
it was a very well animated first episode
Benjamin Perez
Favorites so far: El-Melloi, Dr Stone and Astra (which really surprised me at how much I enjoyed it).
John Baker
29, I've watched anime since I was 15. I only follow 2 manga thesedays. Dr. Stone and Chainsawmen. I could go for the adult manga but that just feels like the ultimate manchild move.
Chase Ward
>AOTS Dr. Stone
>great Danberu
>decent JK no Mudazukai Fire Force
Christian Russell
Dr. stone seems alright, I don't know what else to watch besides it and Vinland saga.
Imagine being this guy and having your brain ruined by isekai.
Hunter Wright
Half of Yea Forums is 10-14 yo edgelords.
Have you ever met anyone past middle school who watches shounen battle anime?
David Williams
yikes
Camden Rodriguez
>best season start Araburu >could've been better Dumbbel >might be cool but probably won't Granblem, Fire brigade, Astra >dropping like a hot potato Maou-sama, Tejina >not gonna bother mentioning Everything else
Bentley Miller
>anyone who doesn't love trash cartoons like I do clearly has brain damage I bet your father is very proud of you.
Benjamin Martin
There's a chance Granbelm may not end up being shit, but other than that, absolute trash, just like the rest of the seasons this year. Literally shaping up to be the worst year of the decade.
Camden Cooper
There's a point in quality of product that you shouldn't accept no matter what.
Colton Morales
Yes, those whose mental development ceased in middle school.
Angel Reed
>posting on Yea Forums and watching seasonal anime without being a manchild You've failed the prerequisites.
You're aware we're talking about anime here? That point has been passed long ago. Don't pretend anything else. It just makes you look like a mongo. Go take your cringy elitist comments and opinions to Reddit or Youtube or whatever.
Robert Russell
more importantly, ACT AGE anime by KyoAni when?
Jason Walker
>shit tier everything
>worse than shit tier symphogear
Isaac Roberts
Based.
Adam Campbell
>people who like things I don't like must be mentally deficient That's some self-serving incorrect logic you have there. How insecure are you?
Ethan Campbell
Great: Danberu Fire force Vinland
Good: Dr Stone Tejina
I'll watch it I guess: Lost in space Granbelm Okada's girls talk about sex
Sebastian Rogers
I'll never understand what kids see in dr. stone. So far liked fire no exorcist an the one that found a loli innawoods, watched simphogeah and remembered I only liked s2, now struggling to finish that magic mecha bullshit. Going to avoid that /fit/ shit like the plague. Will pick up 5 or 6 show and finish none like the past 12 season.
Jose Robinson
This.
Henry Morales
>watches shows aimed at 12-17 year old children >mean anons make fun of him >starts aggressively defending himself Who's insecure again?
Ethan Foster
>I'll never understand what kids see in dr. stone. It's a chuuni SCIENCE "fantasy" show.
Gabriel Butler
Did you see it? It's SHAFT blowing their full load on shonenshit.
Blake Jenkins
so far only granblem looks like total shit
Blake Thompson
Not everything is out yet, but I'd say it's no better or worse than the average season looking back over the past 5 years. It's just that the number of shows is smaller.
Landon Rivera
a person that 100% does not even lift
Mason Brown
But it's shit! Even the manga is just boring shit!
Evan Murphy
>You're aware we're talking about anime here? Nah. At least half of all other anime are acceptable in quality. Isekai is almost always 4/10 or lower.
Ayden Roberts
I just hate what's popular on Yea Forums like that horse racing shit, and the last couple of trigger show. The bar is so low now that I browse here only twice a week, there's never threads for airing anime and the whole front page is filled with cancer general-like or shonen shit. I'm finally glad of being a wage slave.
William Reed
>the whole front page is filled with cancer general-like or shonen shit. Just use filters. I have over 40 threads filtered at any point in time. It makes browsing this place somewhat bearable.
Parker Nelson
>AOTS Okada's sex ride. >AOTS #2 DYEL >not so AOTS Comfy demon daughterfu. Stranded JKs Bestia's bestias most likely Shonenshit #7368 >far away from AOTS Nichibros (female) Stranded highschoolers IN SPACE Magical Hotaru
did you watch the super shit subs from vinland saga on nyaa? i am still waiting for horriblesubs at least
Daniel Taylor
>Shit tier: >Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e What are you fucking gay? There's been one episode and it was fine. Wait, let me guess what your predictable pedestrian-ass "argument" is going to be: >muh edgy >muh werewolves >muh bad animation >muh OP MC
Jaxon Gonzalez
Put Lord El-Melloi under god tier fag
Joseph Brooks
>AOTS JoshiMuda >Surprise OTS Granbelm >Good so far Geah Dr. Stone DYEL Stranded Girls Astra O Maidens >Meh Paw Patrol
I liked it better when it was done by PA Works and was called Fairy Gone (still waiting for 2nd cour).
Sacred Beast suffers from everything possible - shit character designs, bad writing and directing, excessive graphic violence used with no impact and sense, characters cut out of carton, cliche and nonsense plot worse then of typical Isekai even.
Its a half assed show, and comparison with Fairy Gone (which wasnt all that great either), makes it completely pale.
Mason Young
>literally "no u" Cope and concede.
Nathan Campbell
Okay Mr. Armchair Contrarian.
Nathan Davis
>literally predicted your entire response What a fucking sad fuck you are.
Ayden Clark
You get a candy as reward.
Aaron Ross
It's easy to tell that you're part of its target demographic by the way you post.
Ryder Richardson
>meh: Dad Grooming Red Doesn't Suit Lolis >dropped: everything else
Dylan Thomas
Cope, you fucking retards. >muhhh I'm so smart because I can pretend to accurately judge a show and predict where it's going based on one 20 minute episode End your lives.
Andrew Howard
UchiMusume isn't isekai.
Andrew Brown
>enjoying Symphogear Joshikousei >mite b cool Astra something Okada Granbelm
>I'll never understand what kids see in dr. stone. Protag has E=mc² written on his hat. Clearly a lvl 250 brain wizard. I can see a target audience for this. 13 yo version of the people who watch "Sherlock".
Bentley Edwards
Surprising that almost everyone likes Stone, then again it may be skewed by the type of people who post in these threads.
Easton Gomez
I hope you grow out of this phase soon, user-kun.
Jayden Perry
I didn't think I was going to like it before I watched it.
Anthony Evans
>I'm smart for not liking a show that a nonexistent boogeyman demographic likes because of a preconceived notion that I've made up in my head to justify hating things that are popular
I like Dr. Stone, read the manga, decent adaptation, would prefer edgier style art, but I'm pleased.
Liam Evans
Nice projection. Kneel.
Kevin Miller
>popular on Yea Forums like that horse racing shit That was popular? I only saw one forced general thread where nothing of worth was even being talked about. Except perhaps the lament that the game still didn't come out, and the horses the girls were based upon dropping like mayflies one after another.
Jackson Lopez
>Nice projection. >stop being so unbelievably fat This is getting sad. Call your parents and tell them you love them.
Jackson Rivera
>literally not a single semblance of an argument Kneel before me.
Joshua Evans
God tier: Araburu
Great tier: Dumbbell Enen no Shoutbouta
Good: Dr Stone Granbelm
Ok:
Meh: Sounan Desu ka
i aint watching everything. Especially isekai, i'll wait for full seasons to come out on those and then wait to hear recommendations
Liam Cox
I think the irony flew over his head.
Easton Morris
>RTH Kneel.
Elijah Clark
Source?
Connor Garcia
>RTH Literally who.
Austin Wright
Fucking newfag.
Bentley Gray
OK
Jayden Diaz
KYS UCB
Nathaniel Diaz
>KYS Next you will call me a tripfag to totally humiliate yourself.
Joshua Taylor
>thinks I'm as new as he is that I'd confuse namefagging with tripfagging Sad. Cope.
Thomas Cook
Good that you looked it up before replying.
Colton Flores
>N-NO YOU'RE A NEWFAG N-NOT ME Y-YOU MUST BE AS NEW AS I AM Silence, dog. Return to your kennel at ONCE.
Michael Richardson
Cry more than I don't know your forced boogeyman.
Nicholas Thomas
>in every field Not this time tho. Pretty pathetic I gotta admit.
Brayden Jones
>Cry more than Learn English.
Jackson Perez
>RTH again
Liam Young
Neither 'then' nor 'than' fit here, it was actually supposed to be 'that'. By the way fun fact: then vs than isn't a mistake ESLs make.
Parker Evans
Fire Force is a 4/10 at this rate. I really don't think that I've ever seen a studio tryhard so unsuccessfully with visuals like this. Everything is so overdone. I mean, the fucking OP song is outpaced by all the shit happening on the screen while it plays. It's not impressive; its visually abrasive and somewhat pathetic. Also, the only full series that the Fire Force director ever directed before seems to be Meikaku City Actors, so let that sink in while you wait for your next episode. The guy should probably just stick to single episodes with specific action scenes.
because he has to mix the nitric acid with alcohol anyway, and it's easier to move a cup of liquid than stone statues
Jose Watson
mainly because of food and resource shortage.
Nathaniel Adams
and it only gets worse if you are trying to do everything your self.
Gabriel Perez
He admitted to Taiju that it was all he could do just to get the bare minimum essentials to keep himself alive by himself. There wasn't any leftover time or energy to spare dragging heavy-ass human-sized stone statues into a cave and I doubt he even could have accomplished it because his whole premise is he's physically weak as shit.
Ian Ramirez
>Symphogear Symphogear >8/10 UchiMusume >7/10 Granbelm Danberu >3/10 Fire Force
Haven't yet watched anything more. Seems like a pretty average season aside from a handful of potential outliers.
I just watch adaptions of manga I read nowadays, Dr. Stone, Fire Force and Vinland Saga. I read Tejina-senpai and Kanata no Astra already and didn't like them. I'm not watching Takagi-san but the manga is okay. No idea what else to pick up and too lazy to read descriptions
Brayden Parker
It's about first impression not fairness
Brayden Robinson
Is the Dr. Stone manga worth a look if I thoroughly enjoy the premise and the first episode?
Alexander Wright
Some of my favorite shows started as shows I was dead sure I was going to drop. Looks can be deceiving don't judge a book by its cover don't count your chickens until they hatch etc etc
Gavin Carter
Yeah definitely, if you enjoyed the crafting and exploring bits
Angel Smith
it's definitely worth reading. I read around 60 chapters of it when I first heard they were making an adaptation, and then since the episode aired I've read another 30. It consistently delivers and the parts after where the anime will end are great
Daniel Morris
I've seen the art and it looks fucking great. Where do you guys read it at? I barely read manga and as far as I understand Viz requires a subscription
Lucas Foster
By paying for it and not being a leech.
Mason Nelson
If they adapt Gal Gohan I'll praise them forever.
Levi Baker
Nyaa has digital Viz rips of the first 6 volumes and chapters 60-90
