Such a tragedy that Quattro Bajeena, hero of the AEUG, died in the Gryps Conflict. Imagine all the good he could've done against the coward Char Aznable during his treacherous attack on Earth.

Could a non-great writer make the cultural touchstone that is CCA?

I guess we can't share this happiness.

Gundam pleb here. Recently watched all of 0079, which was decent despite its repetitive structure and retarded characters. If I watch the compilation movies for Zeta and just read a plot synopsis for ZZ, is that enough context for CCA?

Might as well just skip to Origins like you probably want to do.

The compilations movies for Zeta aren't a replacement, they even have a different ending.
You don't really need ZZ for CCA though.

The shit that happens with neo Zeon in ZZ kind of adds a bit more context to the events of CCA I think. Especially since I think it's quite a bit into Zeta where Haman appears leading them. If you go from that straight to CCA it doesn't make much sense.

There is already a big enough of a jump in the current state of affairs between ZZ and CCA that it doesn't really matter if you also add what happend to neo Zeon in there.

Char makes a better Federation Soldier than one for Zeon. I can chalk it up to the Federation not being uptight and not caring he's in their ranks as long as he doesn't rock the boat.

wtfwtf? Tomino is da best writer. Killing off people in a cold world is the best way to jerk the tears of a grown man's eyes!! Its real shit!

Char clearly has a blast being a federation soldier. He gets to act like a jock and face no repercussions of his actions. The guy is wearing a sleeveless uniform that's not up to code.

Seriously though, how can Char say with a straight face that he never betrayed anyone?

To be fair they were people he considered to never be truly allied with. Though he's done a lot more shit.

That wasn't Char saying that, it was Quattro Bajeena. He makes up identities for whichever goal suits him at the time, even referring to himself as Casval when talking to Artesia.

It's kind of amazing, and a testament to his good characterization, that fans still believe Char is "inconsistent"; it shows that even the viewer is waylaid by his deceptions.

Zabis and their supporters aren't people.

Casval is his actual name, not a pseudonym. I feel like you're trying to make a joke, but I don't really see where you're going with this.

That's because you're missing the point.

He's not saying he's never betrayed anyone, he's saying he's never betrayed anyone SPEAKING AS QUATTRO BAJEENA.

But your evidence is that he refers to himself as Casval, however this isn't evidence of anything because Casval is his real name.

A spy who infiltrates his enemy's army is not a betrayer.

I just want to lewd loli Sayla
