>pokemon but with kids
why did it die? it was so good back then
Pokemon but with kids
I'm going to hell just for the thoughts I had of the show when I was a kid. "LIKE MY SON" as an adult.... "OH shit nooo my son."
>die
It finished.
I know, but why not a sequel, a game, a spinoff? As far as I know it was kinda popular back then
Not every series needs all of that, whether it be profitable or not. It did get some games though.
They need to do something like this, but with lolis that are designed to make great collectible figurines.
Read the manga user, it's peak jump
It wouldnt work since it would imply other people can get the lolis, there can be only one person thats a male in those kind of money making schemes.
In America? I think I can answer
>bad dub
>no tits, no blood. If I recall the dub was targeted more towards kids
>Zatch was considered "lame" at the time since Naruto/Bleach/DBZ were very popular and much more graphic, with edgier and more badass characters
>too similar to pikachu. Pokemon fad was just ending and all the kids of the pokemon era were getting to that age where they didn't want to be associated at all with anything pokemon or "for kids". Zatch got caught in the crossfire, unfortunately
>just so greatly overshadowed by the other bigger shonens
I loved it when the dub was airing, but sadly everyone I knew hated it. I still think it's good. It's like if pokemon fused with Yu Yu Hakusho with some JoJo elements.
I remember watching the 4kids dub of this
B-but it wasn't in Jump.
Rozen Maiden?
Same shit happened here in Brazil. I thought it was shit at the first time, but then I read the manga and oh boy, it's one of my favorites since
You mean you didn't get to play the official Gash Bell card game?
A sequel or spinoff would have to focus on the match 2000 years in the past since we know how the last tournament went and if it's in the future then that means Gash failed.
fuck you it finished. I just went through all 150 anime eps subbed. stopped after killing faudo. so much was left to cover.
I mean the manga counts as "it" too. And it finished.
>that means Gash failed
Wasn't it revealed it was some sort of god-like being that sent the demon kids to earth for a learning experience? I'm not sure if Gash can make it so that the tournament wont happen again
Mmm - maybe. I was thinking something like 280 loli fairy girl things get sent to the real world by the Demon King and each get paired with a High School student (male and female alike) who have to help them master their magical powers to do battle with each other, and the champion loli gets her family back or something. Maybe with an added incentive that the human gets unlimited power or their heart's greatest desire fulfilled.
Would also have scenes of the high schooler learning to take care of their loli, feeding and bathing her and doing cutesy trust building activities to grow their relationship and help her unlock her powers (that and training/battling to get stronger)
You could fuck with it and have some loli's develop a crush on their handler or vice versa, sadistic handlers who don't care about their lolis and only want ultimate power, and however else you wanna screw with it.
Well, look at that. Looks very similar to what I was thinking of, but I was thinking they would be real lolis not like dolls or anything. Like little witches or fairies or something.
BAOU ZAKERUGAAAA
There was once a storytelling user here on Yea Forums who posted every volume of the manga for around a month, every day. It was the first time I read it all, and it became one of my personal favorites.
The art make difficult to take it seriously, most people including me for a while just saw it as a kiddies show
The author broke his arm in a motorcycle accident and was forced to go on break for 8 months
If the winner can wipe out all the demons then they probably have the power to stop the fighting too.
