Boring
Shit
ah yes, the manga that didn't get what was good about it's concept until about 20 chapters in and threats about cancellation woke the author up to the fact his manga was shit excepting for certain things, changed main character to the lelouch like schemer, manga got better, then forgot why his manga was good and wrote himself straight into the trash.
Where can i pirate?
same place as usual
are you serious
horriblesubs.info
So, is he an alien?
I don't care how smart you are, it's impossible to mentally count seconds with exact precision. You will inevitably either count too fast or too slow, so you will not get the exact number. 3700 years is 166 billion seconds, there should have a huge margin of error and thus Senku would not be able to determine the exact date for sure, only a rough approximation of "over 3000 years".
Would have made more sense if he had figured out the date based on the stars or something.
Why were some broken stone people hollow while others were solid?
Pretty solid
I've heard the manga only gets good later but I like the concept a lot and it seems like there's good potential here. Nothing amazing in episode 1 but I'm looking forward to more.
Dude. This is the type of show where you need to turn your brain off to enjoy.
i'm pretty sure they were all solid, until the moment they "broke out" , where their internal flesh de-petrified first
but i am an animeonly so i could be way off
t. brainlet
What happens if your penis gets broken off while you're petrified and they can't find it before reawakening you? Do you lose your cock?
> t. owner of a single core brain
I think that sentiment is mostly towards Senku's first two companions who get put on long trip away from the plot and get replaced by a new more likable duo.
yeah
Yes.
What if something is broken off and they reattach it wrong?
So far the adaptation was alright. The manga isn't great though, unless everything else suck I'll probably drop it anyways.
note that the arm is solid , maybe their solid brain chipped into pieces and went elsewhere
i honestly don't know
upside down dick bro
I'm more worried about what happens to 2 people who were petrified while they were fucking. What happens to the cock?
Well, I guess you get a leftover out of the "odd-and-ends" pile.
Hope it's an upgrade!
>Spoonfeeding
what the fuck is this dialogue and story
>Would have made more sense if he had figured out the date based on the stars or something.
This. Should have used something like:
en.wikipedia.org
>Streaming
Also that guy is dumb.
He supposed to be a brainlet, user. Also it doesn't get good until Taiju and Yuzuriha fuck off out of the story so enjoy.
He's the retard
Is it a single cour, or multiple? How far do you think can they take it?
>changed main character
Never happend Senkuu was always MC
It was shit and the brainlet farming manga it's based on will soon be axed.
Already confirmed for 24 episodes
You guys always go into SEETHE mode when Togashi isn't writing. It's not healthy.
>tumblr
Go back
>farming manga
They don't even do any actual farming until like chapter 90. That actually kind of bothered me a bit, it should have been one of the first things Senku brought back. Agriculture and farming is what allowed humans to build civilization in the first place.
Dr. Stone was one of Togashi's Top 3 Jump manga two years ago.
>Roli-Poli-Loli
kek
This is actually addressed.
He uncharacteristically forgot, and it's going to mess up his navigation.
that pasta is amazing
no, senkuu was clearly meant to be the sidekick/best friend to the shounen retard. it took the author forever to realize no one liked the retard and everyone liked senkuu, and for him to change the whole focus of his manga.
The name of the manga is DOCTOR stone.
>Took forever
They lose focus relatively quick if anything.
Whipcrack: OBTAINED
enjoyable
reminds me of a Robinsonade
Johnny Test was fun.
This was the cover of WSJ for the first chapter.
I think that's pretty self-explanatory, although I can see where one might be tempted to believe a certain "character type" would be the shounen lead instead, based on past series.
Because he wasn't trying to build civilization at the time, he was more focused on the "short term" goal of beating Tsukasa and the population of the village was at a point where hunting and gathering was still enough for them.
I can't wait to see this chapter
I seriously want to see the trend of "stupid shonen lead who loves meat and is somehow a battle genius" die.
Not ever MC needs to be a Goku clone
Senkuu reminds me of Season 0 Yami and that's fucking great
I remember liking the first few seasons or so of Johnny Test before the switch to Flash Animation, which of course the non-flash episodes were the ones that almost never got reruns.
He states that they washed up in their current location, but how can that be possible? It's not like tsunamis rip boulders off the ocean floor. There are people all over the place in places water shouldn't be reaching.
all matter of natural phenomena exist and it has been 3700 years
plates could have shifted , earthquakes, tornadoes you name it, water filling and draining, ect
with all that going on it's no wonder people ended up in weird locations
>plates could have shifted , earthquakes, tornadoes you name it, water filling and draining, ect
3700 years is nothing in a geological timescale
based jii-san
> implying i know anything about geography
Dropped.
>100 different videos of making underground pools
>Not the OG
That user has good taste
He become yakuza boss?
The e=mc2 thing is just painful. Surely that wasn't your best idea for telling everyone how smart this guy is.
Also, why are they acting like they're in the Stone Age anyway? Surely geniusboy could have found some copper or iron lying around.
Wouldn't all the exposed iron, steel, and copper have oxidized away? I'm pretty sure the only stuff left of humanity after 3000 years of no maintenance might be plastic, and radioactive waste.
Iron and copper existed long before humanity did, user.
Feels a little too shounen-y with the main guy being what I imagine edgy little kids think is cool.
I'd probably just unstone little lolis for "research."
Working with iron would take more effort and materials than he currently has at his disposal, but he does get to that once he gets a stable supply of resources.
actual brainlet doesn't know how hard it is to get metals into a state that they can be worked on
they only start messing with metal stuff later
and e=mc² is basically later revealed to be the reason he got out of his stone form spontaneously, but you're probably still in middle school and don't know basic physics yet.
I like that the studio took the moral stance and chose to cut out that non-negative Trump scene.
They are in the Stone Age.
He can't just pick up any old piece of metal, which now have to be found or mined since any from the before disaster are long gone, and turn it straight into a tool, it has to be melted down to begin with with a furnace that can withstand the heat.
It's actually a major plot point how they go about dealing with melting various metals.
>"with the main guy being what I imagine edgy little kids think is cool"
>proceeds to say edgy thing right after
Not very self aware, are you?
See this at the very beginning..finally understood Dr Push meme.
But really CR pushing is so on your face, it is actually painful. Whats so special about this series that every executive wants it to be successful?
BTW not a bad episode.
this entire thread is proof that Yea Forums is a sack of ultra-hipster shits who are so uber-spoiled on meta-info nothing is good enough for them.
if an anime doesn't have armies of 14 year old girls you can't fap to while imagining rape it's no good?
needs a combat scene every 10 minutes?
you people are just contrarian and self-righteous. i hope Discord destroys your board.
You're correct but get ready for the incoming (You)s from shitters
what in the fuck are you talking about, dude
> Yea Forums is one person
animeonly here i personally thought that the premise of the first episode was pretty interesting and i'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses
Who the fuck cares
>Being a pedo is edgy
Just creepy man.
SJW gave crunch a lot of money for advertisement.
Boring uniroincly but peope seem to like it so I'll give it another chance.
Are there any video games that make me feel like Senkuu
Unironically Minecraft but just think about yourself as a scientist.
Don't Starve
How dare a company who invests in an entertainment project put their short logo at the beginning that they actually went through the trouble of customizing.
they would have made more money animating Sun-Ken Rocl
Dr Stone is one of the weakest WSJ manga
Factorio
You said that because you like Dr. Stone. If it were Black Clover or MHA...
GregTech: New Horizons
I always crack up at Tsukasa description. It's too on the nose.
how was this game anyway? i didnt look at it after the debacle that was dr3
V3 is good, the ending is very divisive though, love it or hate kind of deal. The DR3 anime never happened and I hate that you brought it up. Overall my DR ranking is 2 > V3 > 1
Taijuu gets 50% of the screentime early on and it kinda gets tedious (I still love him as a character though). In the next arc the focus switches a lot more towards Senkuu and other characters which is when most people agree the series gets better. I still fucking loved the first episode and think it's a great adaptation but I'm certainly biased.
Who is this person on the left? He seems fairly irrelevant even though he is supposed to be the mc best friend.
Monster Hunter, at some point Senku himself points out that all the looting they are doing is like playing MH.
I like the hot blooded optimism of the two protagonists.
I actually didn't like the manga, but I like this anime.
Hopefully they'll maintain the art and animation quality, but this is a shonen jump series, so doubtful...
>We are gonna be like Adam and Eve
>Except I am gonna tell you to fuck off from my life forever when I get even the slightest chance
I fucking love the soundtrack.
>Two protagonists.
He needed to stop beta-orbiting and get some new boyfriends.
I liked it. I'll probably enjoy the rest of the season. It's a bit silly, but that's anime for you.
Rimworld
It's Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.
It's pretty cool. It's only the first episode and I've never read the manga so hoping to see how it all turns out.
Also yuzu is cute.
Why didn’t they just dump a body in shallow acid and wait for it the mineral to decompose instead of pouring it
Because that won't work. Nitric acid cannot depetrify people, Senku and Taiju are exceptions because of a reason Senku will explain in a future episode.
>then forgot why his manga was good and wrote himself straight into the trash
When did this happen? I haven't read the manga in a while.
Yeah it was great.
I loved song that was played during my webm.
It's worth noting the the whole X age thing
Those are just terms people assigned to specific periods of eurasian history because bronze and then iron tools becoming widespread made for convienent places to use as a milestones. It's not actually a sort of advancement system human societies go through necessarily
An easy example of this is Mesoamerican civilizations, which didn't develop bronze metallurgy till like 1200AD, only a few hundred years before the Spanish showed up, yet there were some Maya cities all the way back in 300BC or so that had 100,000+ people, tons of giant pyramids, formal goverments with kings, nobility, priestly castes; etc; as well as complex interconnected resvoir, aquaduct, canal, and flood drainage networks (see ) The Teotihuacan civilization from 200-600AD, had it's primary city bigger then rome in physical expanse (see pic), with larger, fancier palace complexes comparable to roman villa's for it's nearly it's entire population (only the small dots see in the pic are the sorts of buildings most commoners would be living in in other ancient cities) had a sewage system, etc; with on the whole Mesoamericans being more comparable to Bronze, Iron, or Classical Civilizations depending on the specific Mesoamerican civ you are looking at. Aztec's were outright more complex then europe in a few ways
On the flip side, There's plenty of African groups at never developed bronze metallurgy, and instead developed iron metallurgy and then steel first, while still otherwise being simple tribes and cheifdoms in villages, without complex goverments, etc
What material a given society is using for it's tools is only a single element of their total society and complexity, and it's arguably if Iron is even inherently better then bronze or bronze to stone: Early iron weapons were inferior to bronze ones, while stone can be way sharper then metal can ever be, etc
And what about the bird and the feather? Same thing?
Taiju never did anything in the manga and fucked off forever since then.
based mesoamerican user
It's so good. I've been listening to it all day.
I guess we gonna get OST after anime ends or with BDs right?
Is it you, mesoanon?
No, the bird/feather was because they found the right mixture to cause instant depetrification. The process will be explained more later but it's not so much corrosion as much as it acts as a key to unlock the statues and turn them back to organic matter.
wrf this feels like it's from 2012
>It's worth noting the the whole X age thing
whoops this line got cut off, was supposed to be
"It's worth noting the whole X age thing is a meme and isn't actually how technology progresses necessarily"
also have an image showing what the housing complexes in Teotihuacan were like, each one of the easily visible rectangles indicating a building in was a complex at least somewhat akin to this
of course

anyways I haven't actually watched the first episode yet, how is the adaption? Did they did boichi's art justice?
why does her character design look like it was pulled from this? youtu.be
>Did they did boichi's art justice?
If think everybody looks fine but we gotta get to the crazy faces or to see more close ups to be sure. First episode looked fine even thou it had some QUALITY shots.
I love how they added sound to the neck creaking. It's such a subtle detail but really shows they care about this production considering what happens later
thank you for being a rational human being
Why didn't he just count the days instead?
>E=MC^2
Dropped it right there.
It's embarrassing as an actual physics student.
i thought she looked like a eroge character at first
>Dr.Stone
>SJW
you do realize this show so far has been conservative as fuck?
You're embarrassing.
How do you count the days without seeing the sun or keeping track of a smaller amount of time (like seconds)?
what's the appeal of this? I've read the manga up to the point where they come across that human village.
It's just IFUCKINGLOVESCIENCE, so far.
he literally said in the same episode that 2 dudes can't repopulate earth.
they highly implied making some housewives.
I study physics. You don't. I won't waste my time any longer.
Next.
When you have an unmaintained drainage system for 3700 years, I'd say it's fairly easy to happen
When they split up
As an actual physics student who's been reading Dr. Stone for 2 years, you're an embarrassment
Perhaps you should think a little bit more on why he wrote that equation on his outfit, and what it symbolizes.
The artist has a major in physics, "actual physics student"
Senku can't repopulate shit with how romance-phobic he is.
I think he meant the magazine shonen jump
>Did they did boichi's art justice?
Yes, the girls are ayy lmaos
it's literally the same girl, she just has her hair down now
If it's just a bachelor's he's a retard.
>what's the appeal of this?
This
>IFUCKINGLOVESCIENCE
looks like that one Taiwanese Puppet villain.
tfw hentai of your new waifu is already available
I actually think the girl designs are pretty cute.
Boichi thinks girls with bug eyes are cute.
If he gave normal male eyes to girls they would turn into 8/10 and 9/10.
As an engineer. no one cares
Comfy, optimistic, science adventures is the appeal.
would marry, impregnate and raise 2-3 children with
she's cute
Yeah and Senkuu looks like Ken from Sun ken rock
MASSIVE gary stu MC
Engineers are the abject retards of STEM, only rivaled by Biofags.
We only respect physicists and mathematicians. Sorry.
pathetic
You're an undergrad.
being petrified that massive amount of years, would makw anybody forget how to walk, speak, etc, etc, etc
nonsense in that
How's first year going?
wrong
Learn physics.
It's really funny you say that, when a lot of the "oooo so cool" shit in this manga is supposed to be based in logical reasoning.
It's supposed to make sense, that's like the appeal, this show invites a critical eye to debunk all the meme science.
Enjoying poverty and never being able to do anything worthwhile because you are not one of the top science geniuses?
bad writing
Yeah, and people's eyes aren't that big! Anime sucks balls
>DUDE I STUDY PHYSICS THIS IS SHIT
i fucking hate this board
best girl comin through!
>Engineers
>Geniuses
Y I K E S
>debunk all the meme science
Other than anything dealing with the petrification/depetrification, what has he done that needs to be debunked?
Nah, even senkus dialogue is retarded as shit, it's really wordy, with a lot of telling the audience how they are supposed to feel, or what the exact specific themes is.
"WOaH we are JuST HIGH SCHOOL KIDS, Staring the NEW age!"
It's all just incredibly unnatural and weirdly aware that it is in fact a manga, it's just awkward as fuck writing
When you get depetrified, you get a max heal so powerful that can even fix "clinically death" brains, is one of the plot mysteries.
So, a chemical engineer?
He is a genius beyond real human skills. While he doesn't do anything truly impossible, you shouldn't compare his intelligence with normal human intelligence
does it cure depression
if it does petrify me now
>>DUDE I STUDY PHYSICS THIS IS SHIT
>i fucking hate this board
Imagine being proud of it almost as shitty as lawfags.
Did he really need his friend's inspiration to realize they could ferment fruit for the alcohol? Did he just not know that fruit was growing nearby or something?
how do you know it was nearby
maybe taiju ran a 10k marathon distance to get those - something senkuu can't do
I meant physicists. Only a few real geniuses will accomplish anything on a field to be recognized. The rest will do stuff that any other STEM field can do, but have a harder time because no one needs a physicist that is not the top of the field.
This was good and I'm a mathematician. Now shut the fuck up.
Senku often takes inspiration from others to trigger an idea on what to build next. It happens all the time.
is dr stone the new too smart for general audience meme?
this
if you're a physics major or a math major and aren't 150+ IQ at the very least, you are literally cucking your future and you're an idealistic moron.
>other then the dumb shit in this first episode they pass off as science what other dumb shit have they done?
Well i don't know, i'd have to be dumb enough to sit through this boring shit and watch episode 2.
people just cant enjoy anything these days
Senku said it himself, he was barely surviving when he was alone. He probably didn't scout around enough to find the grapes, Taiju's endurance is the superhuman aspect of his character, they could've just been growing far away.
If it's something derived from your brain I guess it does. If it's just normal sadness and lazyness it probably doesn't
I was just saying that.
"turn your brain off it's a cartoon" meme, uniquely doesn't apply to this shows, and shows like it.
This was good and I have a theoretical degree in physics. Now shut the fuck up.
Atheist vs Theist arc debate when?
No
So the guy is as hardy as the smart guy is smart? I didn't think he was superhuman by the end of the first episode.
When was it stated or implied taiju ran a 10k marathon to find the fruits?
THe location he found them in looks no different visually from where they are for 90% of the episode.
And it doesn't really make sense that senku being out for so long would never run into any fruit
That already happened in the manga. It was a really cringeworthy debate between Senku and a literally who, where Senku effectively convinced the guy that all religion was inefficient and actively detrimental to humanity.
Senku would just do the pascal wager and call it a day
The Forest
You'll find that lots of characters are superhuman in their own fields of expertise, and by combining their talents they're able to get stuff done. Even Yuzuriha, and especially her.
He has as much endurance as the plot demands. There will never be a situation where Taijuu runs out of stamina. It would be like Senkuu running out of brainpower.
What is "too smart" about meme science, and basic 3rd grade scientific principles?
Isn't Senku atheist?
i never did say it was a 10k marathon distance i said it MIGHT have been
also what this dude said the entire earth looks foresty now anyway
from what others are saying each character has 1 superhuman aspect , senkuu - INT , taiju - END
I've read this so long ago that I don't remember if he had claimed so. He probably did, which would be retarded as most known important scientists in history were theists
>You'll find that lots of characters are superhuman in their own fields of expertise
So they are like kids from Danganronpa?
Every major character has some exaggerated trait, it's a shonen
Senku has brains
Taiju has stamina
Yuzuriha has craftsmanship
Tsukasa has strength
Gen has a silver tongue
Gorilla has lesser strength, but also eyesight
Chrome has lesser brains, but also materials
and so on
>The central set-up of the show is scientifically impossible, and that by itself invalidates everything that follows.
>The central set-up of the show is scientifically possible, but they just didn't do it right.
So which one was it for you?
>a foul-mouthed genius
>a good-natured musclebrain
The author is just recycling the two main leads from his previous work, right?
Mixing fantasy plot with forced science is fucking retarded. Feels like a boring science show for elementary schoolers. Even Cells at Work is more enjoyable at this point.
it really does feel like a kid's show.
A duo of arrogant brainiac and a goofy meathead is an age old trope
Anime is for kids.
Who says the petrification was magic?
I clapped when I saw "E=mc2"
I FUCKING CLAPPED BECAUSE I UNDERSTOOD IT
I'm sure a lot of people back then (not just scientists) would admit to not believing in god if it was more widely accepted.
i'm proud of you, user!
WAAAAAH EXPLAIN IT TO ME
Is this a battle manga? The OP makes it look like the genius and the dummy are gonna scrap with some of those survivors.
>everything in the world other than fish is petrified including birds
>show birds flying in exploration arc
There's just a few battles and they are very short. It's not the focus on the story.
Not an entirely inaccurate description, in a way.
He is, but only insofar as he believes in human willpower to accomplish a goal instead of waiting for a miracle or the divine grace of god. I don't think he'd fault anyone for being a theist, and he's still one of the most moralistic people in the entire series, desiring the deaths of literally nobody.
the dummy goes bye bye for the next 2 years
He comes straight out and states the central tenet of Deism.
please tell me im a brainlet
en.wikipedia.org
read and learn dummy.
>everything in the world other than fish is petrified including birds
No
Only humans and sparrows, nothing else
>speedreading
>speedwatching
Mega Tarzan is gold.
speed reader at it again
People on the wrong side of Clarke's Third Law.
i... i never learned how to read
How about I rub your dick instead?
then how did you read what he just wrote then
The birds were an experiment. Only humans were petrified in the final beam.
>i... i never learned how to read
Huh this is gonna be harder than I anticipated.
>people think Dr. Stone is boring
for what reason? not enough fights? a series doesn't need to jingle keys in front of your face constantly
Both
Read a little slower, user
I don't want any chemistry lessons
>Read manga
>Tsukasa happens
>Hear his idea and kinda understand it
>Some arcs later
>Revives nothing but psychos and scum of society tier shit despite claiming he wanted those "pure" and young untainted people, and leads an assault on a village
What the fuck is his goddamn problem?
well to be fair every smart people he revived has betrayed him
>thread full of people picking apart the logic in the series
The 'science' is based in real concepts but it's still full of exaggerated elements for the sake of telling a story, jesus christ. Did you go into Naruto expecting it to stick strictly to real-life ninja principles and human durability?
So is this worth picking up? I'm looking for decent shonen shit to watch since I dropped kimetsu no yaiba and jojo is ending soon.
Tsukasa means well but he just needs to stick to what he's good at: MMA and being an adorably devoted big brother.
anything is worth picking if Yea Forums is crying about it
"Primitive Technology" the anime.
youtube.com
He is only STR, no INT at all. His ideals were good, but he didn't have a way of knowing who was a good person and wasn't smart enough to actually think it through
Sure but it goes against the entire point of his plan idea, and it's naive as fuck anyway. They'll all just aim to seize power, and probably murder each other just as badly as the "muh evil science making wars" shit
He didn't actually revive scum and psychos. Only two of the people he revived are psyhotic, to his own misfortune.
He doesn't know people he revives.
So he has shitty luck because he gets bunch of thugs
Also still can't believe that "those" guys are dead.
Most of the people that were petrified lost consciousness after a very short time and those that do don't even remember the moments before they succumbed.
If it's your thing, then yes.
It's not a bad series by any means, but it's a very particular type of series that you'll either like or not like. Dr. Stone is primarily some lite science lessons pushed by fun characters and an ongoing conflict and mystery. The fun is in seeing the cast interact and work to slowly unravel the world and get their tech tree moving. Because of this it's not exactly action-heavy, and the plot isn't particularly complex or meaty. It's a very laid-back sort of series, so you don't mind that, then you'll have a good time.
Why'd you drop Kimetsu, out of curiosity?
you can check out enen no shouboutai too, it has a cute milf in it
also the animation is pretty good
>decent shonen shit
It's shonen but it isn't a fighting manga.
ITS SCIENCE MANGA
Dude, fuck off. It’s anime, who the fuck cares.
yes his ideals and actions may not really match up but a bunch of muscleheads are one thing tsukasa can control very well
Is it me or is the OST really good? I wasn't sure what to expect for this series but the OST in the first episode is fantastic and really adds to the laid back feel of it all
That one is fairly bland though, and the lore in the story is extremely uninspired and lacking.
Don't worry a cute girl will carefully handle it as she painstakingly glues your petrified body back together in preparation to revive you
> watching shounen anime for the plot
i thought people watched it for the fights , which is what enen has
>that image
>fuckin saved
>Japanese sword chapter
>Folded over one thousand times
Memes have ruined me, I can't take this seriously.
I dropped kimetsu mostly because the story felt a bit rushed at the start with how certain things were handled. I stopped right at the part where he ran into the main the villain. It's a shame too because I've seen some anons claim the manga has been very solid, but the anime just didn't do it for me.
>undergrad talking like his opinion means anything
Yeah like said track was godly.
I wonder what other tracks are gonna sound because they have this tribal and aSTONEishing sound.
The plot's a mess, but if science and strategic fighting is your thing and occasional cool plot moments, then go for it.
That's very reasonable. I'd say it really only gets better from there, but I couldn't blame you at all for stepping back.
Well, some of the first things Senku & co did after Tsukasa were:
Revive an egotistical captain who wants to take over everything
Bring back the concept of money, to gain control over said captain
Industrialize and start polluting the environment again
Tsukasa was shortsighted, but nothing he did was worse than what science did
I wonder how long to rebuild civilization to modern level from stone age like this.
>taiju
>main lead
Good joke just wait until he's replaced by best boys Chrome and Gen
>Shiet
>Tsukasa was shortsighted, but nothing he did was worse than what science did
Bullshit. He was fucking over the future due to his extreme butthurt over his little sister and his actions were all much worse than every single boomer he claimed to hate.
>Bring back the concept of money, to gain control over said captain
I didn't know that Senku was a
Plump
Senkuu is actually evil for bringing back this shitty world back.
Tsukasa was right.
i wish people would stop regurgitating the idea that Taiju was meant to be the main character
he clearly only exists as an audience surrogate to make Senku look better until everything's established enough for Senku to carry it
Wasn't there a contest that 30 people would be put into anime and turned to stone?
He's literally the one who made things worse for everyone though, and used the knowledge of science man to fuck things up by demanding to know how he could revive people turned to stone, and he's so fucking retarded he didn't even pay attention to the people he was reviving and was gonna get backstabbed in less than a year and have everything spiral out of control even further.
This brings up the interesting point about clothing, all of these people have had their physical bodies to turned to stone but their clothing still deteriorated. Proving that even if it takes hundreds of years, synthetic fibers are still biodegradable.
If there was I certainly did not win it.
Should have only de-stone females.
Them going through that kind of extra effort is basically unheard of. Why make an effort when you can make mediocre work year after year and idiots will pay?
the biggest gripe that I have with the manga is that the village works off of anime incest rules and not being full of Charles "repeatedly baffling Christendom by continuing to live" II of Spain. the manga story was shit and I bet this will suck as well
t. faceless old men
don't some remote tribes with low populations have lots of inbreeding because that's all that is available, but they developed some special gene that reduces incest deformities
i may be talking out of my ass but i swear i saw something about that recently
>the story felt a bit rushed at the start
It's kinda funny cause anime actually slow the pacing down. The rush pacing in the beginning is because the author still struggle to escape the "axe" zone.
Why do you think all the females are ugus? It's not just an artistic choice, they're actually severely inbred.
Because of this bullshit Kohaku will never end up with Senkuu because she his 100x grand daughter
3k years to deteriorate doesn't mean something is biodegradable. Also, most real clothing is mainly cotton
Senku was adopted
That's not how it works, Senku already explained that the gene lines are so thin it's not even an issue, and besides Ishigami Village is descended from Byakuya, and Senku is adopted and biologically unrelated to Byakuya. Which is dumb and obviously an editor decision, but whatever,
The thing about incest is that it amplifies both desirable and undesirable recessive traits.
You have to remember that their initial gene pool were astronauts/cosmonauts so they started out with prime material to work with, and might not have had any of those negative traits to amplify.
>Also, most real clothing is mainly cotton
>checks shirt
>50% cotton
>50% polyester
y'all wear clothes?
i freeball it 24/7 and only put on boxers to accept deliveries
Well now, guess I'll stop posting for this evening.
He was clearly shown counting by single digits 1 to 10 so that he wouldn't get out of rhythm.
Degradable does not mean biodegradable.
My mother is dying from cancer and lives with me so
I never felt comfortable freeballing, like the the trigger to be pissing is or jerking off is whether or not I am wearing boxers.
the timelapse in the anime was actually genius
>undergrads
lmao. I think it's cringey too but why do you think your opinion matters. You literally haven't even learned your own field yet, you don't know shit about anything.
>stone age
see
It has been proven that we all share ancestors, a few generations back you would find some guy who is a shared ancestor of you and lots of people, and far enough back in time, every living human is your ancestor, and I'm not even talking about the ice age, you don't need to go that far back. The village isn't totally impossible, but they totally should have bigger numbers and, considering that they were mostly fishermen and didn't develop agriculture, it's weird that they didn't went nomad.
This, first order of business after discovering how to turn people back to normal should have been spending 20 years building a loli harem army and establishing a country of thousands of his own offspring before selectively curing small groups of people at a time.
I'm guessing that after a while his counting became something akin to 'muscle memory' and that he did it automatically.
Tsukasa had some good points, but he and his plan were full retarded. It's true that they had a valuable chance of building a new world, and it's true that freeing the entire world of the petrification at once would be chaotic, but everything he did was stupid and would end up in their deaths and the loss of humanity.
>I want Anime isn't 100% realistic
Yikes
Would rather learn something actually useful that requires real intelligence like Law.

Gen must be the Jew one
You're right, Senku is a great MC, but too excentric, considering that at least manga magazines consider that their MCs have to be relatable.
Don't use Anya for shitposting, that's inelegant
Every character does impossible stuff at some point, this series it's not for you
>it's weird that they didn't went nomad.
that's the other thing too that how come they speak perfect japanese that senku and others can understand and not some weird mutation of japanese I choose to ignore the stories past down from senku's "dad" because thats an asspull and won't have shit like sherlock for detective suika , who is acute, or basic language skills past Ascian language but replace gov propaganda with grimms fairy tales
t. jew
Please, while you slave over numbers and calculations hoping to one day appear in a low budget Nat Geo Special I will be making bank doing real work turning scumbags on the street into cumbags in prison.
There ain't no shitposting here. Law>physics.
>it's going to mess up his navigation
Not really. He's autistic enough to know WHERE all the stars are. As long as he can identify which he's looking at (compared to where the stars used to be) he'll be fine.
This was addressed pre-war arc IIRC.
It's from when post-war arc, Yuzuriha finally becomes more than a moeblob and makes more modern clothing for everybody. While she does actually make everything he's wearing, it's mostly as a gag. He doesn't stay dressed like that unfortunately.
He already shat on Deism in Chapter 7.
Sure his counting could be a little off. But it doesn't matter if he was petrified for 3,700 years, or 3,750 years. The important thing here, is that he woke up in spring.
learn what deism is and then come back

No, the shitposter and baitposters are Yea Forums or Yea Forums. The obnoxious baited defenders are from /sci/ though.

scars from the effects of the stone
The human brain is extremely good at finding rhythm. All you have to do is catch and memorize the rhythm of a second, and your mind will be able to count each second at 95-99% accuracy. Senku is a genius, so he would be able to do it even more precisely. And as someone else stated, he reset his count every 10 seconds in order to maintain the rhythm. It may not be perfect, but it's as perfect as things could possibly be.
Depetrification scars. Every person who is depetrified gets one.
ah, that makes sense. thanks user
You underestimate how much little differences can add up when you are counting 116683200000 seconds. If your seconds are only 10% shorter on average, you're losing almost 400 years right there.
I'd like to think he knows this and is giving an estimate, though his positing of a specific date doesn't really work so well with that theory.
Get fucked, you retarded christcuck
Isn't the earth 4000 years-old?
I just want more doujins.
The girls are super sexy and cute and I want to fuck them all!
Before the reveal of the villagers being descendants of Senku's dad and the other astronauts, I was pretty much convinced that the fact that the village was so small, coupled with the perfect Japanese they spoke, meant that they were descendants of people who got depetrified maybe a few centuries before Senku, but couldn't do pretty well with developing civilization, so everybody from the modern world died quickly and the descendants kinda made up a society. However, admittedly ignoring language barriers is something so prevalent in fiction that I don't feel it's fair to hold it against Dr. Stone. The villagers being descendants of unpetrified people just leaves room for too much questions, though, like how it's possible that a band of survivors just left the modern world to rot, specially considering that they're astronauts with heavy scientific (to build and mantain stuff) and military (to survive in harsh conditions and keep morale) background, that should have fared better.
Right now, I can only satisfy myself with these:

Pretty surely most people didn't really believe in God. Just like in modern day, you go through the traditions, but if you live in a world where Catholics are good and Protestants are heretic, and next week Protestants are the true Christians and Catholics are the heretics, just because the King wanted to bang a younger girl, that kind of stuff would shake anyone's faith.
>I'm low IQ
>He watches this gargabe
Ironic
So is this anime shit like every anime I've seen up to this point?
What's this anime about exactly? Is it Shounen-ai? They were describing themselves as Adam and Eve I imagine the smart guy is Eve and the musclehead is Adam.
it's Primitive Technology: the manga/anime
...
give it up. subs are dead.
I wouldn't say most, but a good chunk probably didn't. They didn't have science and logic to explain how shit worked back then, so most of the time they just chalked it up to supernatural shit. It's easy to believe in religion when you already believe in the unexplainable.
Eat dick buddy.

Even when counting to 10, the seconds are not 100% exact. So after combining several 10 seconds together, you would end up with a lot of loss time. Even mechanical clocks (and computer clocks) fail with with this after between days - months (known as time drift).
>high iq
>watching/reading shounen
pick one
>Senku
>beta
hahahahahaha
Has senku's age ever been mentioned?
He must be nearing 20 in the manga.
Senkuu is the least beta protagonist in Shounen Jump besides Denji and Taiju get's written out of the story for like a hundred chapters starting at chapter 15
>half of the unique IPs in this thread hate this heart-of-gold oaf
fucking terrible taste that is. hope all of the crossboarders and honorary crossboarders will be out of the thread by Episode 3
Everyone who read the manga also hated him and were happy when he was written out of the story for nearly a hundred chapters and Senkuu got better friends
We just wanted him to be more interesting and he did, along with Yuzuriha once they came back. I'm glad Inagaki addressed the issue.
Alright, this shit was a goddamn mess. Not only was the pacing a million miles a minute, it felt like it skipped the part where it's supposed to make its characters relatable or likable and instead spent it on nonsense like which plants are edible and how to make wine. As a result both the main dudes are just irritating in different ways at the moment since all there is to them is one's an idiot who yells a lot and the other's an egotistic genius. Awful comedic timing probably doesn't help either.
The structure's just awful as well, tons of scenes that follow incredibly poorly from the previous ones. I seriously hope it slows down from next episode. This felt like two or three episodes that had to be cut down into one.
I agree that Yuzuriha got a massive improvement but Taiju is still kind of the same as he was before, except that he no longer has nearly as important of a role compared to Kohaku, Gen, and Chrome which makes him more tolerable
It's not that people hate him. He's just kind of...boring.
the first 15 or so chapters of the manga were shit so expect the first 5-ish episodes of the anime to be shit too
It was more like 50 chapters until they appeared again.
as if the retarded opinion of a student matters more than the actual physics major that draws the fucking manga
I'm still mad this wasn't used in any way. It would've been fucking perfect for an ED or for the Stoning scene.
When he said it's important to start in spring to survive that's all I could think of
Extremely underwhelming first episode. Not awful, not at all, but not great. Barely "good". Art tends to hover around a 6.5/10, music was forgettable. The voices seemed unfitting for the characters. Some of the scene transitions with the story-boarding were OPM S2-tier in how they disrupted the flow or were just disjointed.
Also it's off topic but I'm gonna be around for a few hours so if anybody has questions about mesoamerican history feel free to ask
timeline of mesoamerican civilization for reference
Smart people are atheists. Cope
I'm honestly surprised there hasn't been a Senku mod for it yet. Or if there is I'm not aware of it.
Always nice to have the opinion of such an esteemed critic like yourself.
Nerd looks like a fucking retard. Overly stylized hair isn't key to a good design. He's a fun character since obnoxious nerds are good characters, but his outward appearance is absolutely awful. Big Oaf is a fun character. He's dumb, he's strong, and he plays those points perfectly.
Looking forward to this. Might pick up the manga if it gets better.
Is this anime supposed to be Japanese Rick and Morty? The 2 main leads' designs are uncannily similar.
Spiky hair is awfully common in shounen manga.

Other than that, it was a fairly interesting premise. Liked the first episode more than Fire Force, which felt a bit janky.

shitposter still gonna call it asspull
That's what you call infinite stamina, but don't blame him for it.
He's an orphan
How did they not go insane from being petrified for so long?
These folks make Kars look like a retarded child.
They were not sane from the start, just look at them.
Most people have their consciousness fade. Senku and Taiju have superhuman determination, they weren't completely sane to begin with. Senku thought it through mechanically, logically, while Taiju outlasted with pure grit.
How long until Chrome?
Should be here on ep 5-6
It took a awhile cause other things where in the way. He needed to make the all cure so the village would trust him so he could have more man power and right after that the Stone Wars happened. Then once that was done they did farming.
I mean, as I said in ; it's a mistake to necessarily associate specific materials used for tools with, say architectural prowess or government complexity, etc; you don't need metal to have the mathmatical ability to make measurements, build arches (only the Maya had true arches, though, and even this is arguable), etc; and making stone buildings isn't exactly
I'll admit that Mesoamerican construction isn't a subject i'm speffically well informed on compared to say, Water Mangement systems or geopolitics, but I'll do my best.
As far as pyramids, most Mesoamerican pyramids were built incrementally. You might have an early earthern pyramid, or a small stone one, and then over time, as new rulers take power or whatever, a new pyramid is ordered to be constructed, at which point it's built over the older one. I would imagine that, as a result, the actual engineeering of it isn't that complex: You are basically just building onto an existing stable structure in layers rather then building the whole thing from scratch.
The other thing I can tell you is that Mesoamerican structures often involved a lot of "filler". For Central Mexican archtecture (Toltec, Teotohuacan, Aztec, etc), you see structures often having an internal skeleton of sort of rough cobblestone: a lot of raw stones binded together with a limestone mortar/cement, which was then covered in a smoother, more organized brick housing, which was then finally finished with a layer of stucco and then, as nessscary painted. You can see all 3 main layers here in this photo of ruins at the Toltec site of Tula: You see the sort of rough cobblestone and mortar/cement base at the top left, you see the more carefully placed brick layer over it in the foreground, and then on the pillars, you can see the sutcco that would have covered everything (the pillars themselves seem to only have the cobblestone and then the stucco directly over it, which isn't uncommon for thinner structures)
1/2
>a new pyramid is ordered to be constructed, at which point it's built over the older one
what a dick move
I only see a gorilla.
>Has no idea what a character arc is
I mean, its hinted again when Yuzu's foot is still petrified So nobody can't call it an asspull regardless
Senku is already eccentric as fuck
Taiju is a fucking hotblooded crazy man
Theyre already insane.
What if some nip kid makes gunpowder or bomb?
cont:
As far as Eastern (Maya) mesoamerican construction, I'm under the impression they relied on that limestone mortar/cement to a greater degree, actually using it not just as a mortar to bind together the base structure that was then prettified up with a finer brick covering, stucco, paint, etc; but actually just to make some of the underlying structure itself to a greater extent/with more frequency. Definetely not that informed on the chemistry/physics of making cement or whjatever but a cursory google search seems to indicate that the cement production itself was a pretty advanced/complex process
leonidemartinblog.wordpress.com
theoldexplorer.com
I can't verify these are reliable sources, mind you. mexicolore.co.uk
I'd assume the archtecture of the more southern civilizations such as the Zapotec and Mixtec, alongside the ones along the gulf coast like the classic veracruz and totonatcs, erred more on the central side given they are in the central 1/3 of the region. Western Mesoamerica is a lot less studied, and I am far less informed on it, but looking at the main surviving ruins in the Purepecha captial of TzinTzuntzan, it seems to use the central style as well, albiet the core cobblstone seems to havge a much higher proportion of stone to mortar, and without the stone bits being rounded
Lastly I wanna stress that the paint, murals, frescos (true frescos, like in ressisiance italy), sculpturework, etc adorning the outside of buildings/on inside walls could be super fine, see pic. The bare masonry you see at ruins is just from them being ruins
They have the disclaimer at the end, it's fine.
You should worry more about kids making cola
Curious how they'll do the Tsukasa thing where he does a thing really fucking well.
Rip cola user
we're not talking a day, a month, a year or a decade of isolation, though.
We're talking thousands of years.
Of being stuck in the same place, alone, unable to speak and with no one to speak to you.
i want to fuck that gorilla
So it's like a Yea Forums?
They are right tho, the prolongue of the story is complete shit, even the fans of the manga accept it. After that it becomes a very entertaining story
So in episode 2 they will unstone the girl and breed her?
Man.
The animation SUCKED ASS.
Fucking hell.
Just stick to the manga.
Why don't senku create Nuclear power plant? I mean, Chrome surely have an uranium or two.
>music was forgettable
jesus christ what a take
If Chrome had found uranium the entire village would've been dead by the time Senku found them
I mean it wasn't being done as a "yo look how much of a bitch nigga loser my predecessor, let me one-up him" way, it was more seen as "renovating" and improving it.
Also worth noting that for a lot of Maya temples, palaces, or residential complexes, they were sort of expanded in a similar way, with, rather then the pyramids only being built on each other in layers, new platforms or pyramids were added, new buildings were, etc, on the existing platform the intial structure was on, as seen here.
This could get pretty extreme over time, for example the La Danta complex at El Mirador is a fucking enormous mega-structure with like 11 pyramids on it spread across multiple layers or raised platforms, and with the entire structure in mind including those platforms, it's actually taller then the Great Pyramid of giza and as such was the tallest human structure ever built for a period, though you won't see a lot of sites or books note this since Old-World-Centricism/lack of awareness about Mesoamerican stuff; and because it's arguably if/how much the platforms are actually a part of the "pyramid" part or not.
imagine being stuck in place but conscious for 3000 fucking years
Do you want to be spoiled?
>people really hate the early Dr. Stone chapters
I guess we just come in for different things then, because I've enjoyed this chill science fuckery all the way through.
Yes, and here's where the "reasonable suspension of disbelief" comes into play. Because while it is grounded in reality and focuses on real-world science, it is still an anime with a fantastic premise. So characters acting with exaggerated attributes is not far-fetched.
Chrome does not have any uranium.
sure
>Yea Forums
they get put into a corner by mother nature and have to bail out MEGA TARZAN to save them, then they're stuck with communism
Worse, they will force unpaid labour on her.
Yes. For over a thousand years.
>Yes, and here's where the "reasonable suspension of disbelief" comes into play. Because while it is grounded in reality and focuses on real-world science, it is still an anime with a fantastic premise. So characters acting with exaggerated attributes is not far-fetched.
To be fair, I mainly wanted to discuss how horrifying and soul-killing the idea would be.
What’s everyone opinion on Senku’s voice?
and an image showing the layers of the main temple/pyramid in Tenochtitlan, the aztec captial Filename lists dates for each layer. Note the stone/mortar filler between each layer.
There are surviving ruins of it today but the outermost layer is totally gone and even for the inner ones, not much of them are left: the structure as a whole was leveled and buried, so it's like somebody chopped off the whole structure aside form the base
if you look up "templo mayor ruins" you'll see what I mean
Then perhaps for anyone else it might've caused such terror and insanity, but for these two they could outlast it. And trust me, you will have plenty of terror in this series. It is not a horror manga, but at times it definitely feels like one. Somehow Boichi and Inagaki are very good at that.
Excellent. I love the way he laughs.
dudes just turn your brain off lmao
This user speaks from experience
Are you telling me this poor boy has had to deal with mold in his hair for 3000+ years?
Poor thing.
I hated no part of dr. Stone. I took it as progression.
3700 MORE YEARS
>any ayylmao in Dr.Stone
>waifu material
I would breed Yuzuriha in a blink but i wouldnt cuck my dude Taiju so Gorilla it is
I know it's fiction and all, but imagine being locked in stone for 3,700 years whilst being conscious.
I mean you're not forced to, you could just give up, let your consciousness fade in a matter of days and hope someone else revives you 3700 years later. Only downside, no MC status.
He's a goddamn commie
Stonefags BTFO!
1st episode is basically slide show. WTF?
Honestly speaking, I tried out both first episodes and I thought Dr. Stone was actually better.
Fire Force's first episode just felt a bit janky, and the "muh tragic past" flashback shit felt too heavy-handed. There were also random awkward silences at some points during dialogue- Gridman had that issue too. What's with that?
senku is cool and sexy!
Isn't Senku just Hiruma?
>Only good scientists are theists
Cringe and bluepilled
They called themselves theists because it was generally not a good idea to call yourself atheist until fairly recently.
When's Chrome?
>dude what if minecraft was an anime
This is cringe
>They didn't animate his junk
Dropped.
It was hilarious how Tsukasa would be rolling in his refrigerator if he understood what transpired immediately after he got put on ice
Fire Force direction looks really sloppy too. The animation is cool, but the dialogue has no flow and it feels like the character are computers talking to each other with weird pauses in between.
Galacticraft.
wiki.micdoodle8.com
What is this fire force people keep talking about?
Another shonen that's airing this season, It's about firefighters with super powers that hunt fire demons
>hunterchild seething day 2
>but the dialogue has no flow and it feels like the character are computers talking to each other with weird pauses in between.
Exactly that. As I mentioned: Gridman has that too. Can anyone tell me what the deal with it is? Is that meant to be comical? Because it just feels awkward.
It’s impossible to make a Rasengan ball.
Guess I can’t watch Naruto. God, why do people just choose random shit to be picky about in anime? It’s fiction. Just watch it.
So like Chainsawman, but only fire devils exist?
damn, that seem pretty hot
Wait for your proper appearance before shitposting, Gen.
>but only fire devils exist?
Only seen the first episode so I dunno
fuck you, Yea Forums for making me read 50 chapters after episode 1!
Wow, she looks half Japanese even though 3700 years have passed! How'd they manage that.
If you took everything good about chainsawman away and left an empty husk I guess.
did you rike it?
yes
Not trying to shittalk or anything, just saw a few posts about people comparing it as if they were rival shows.
Even tho dr Stone fans like myself don't really care nor want a rivalry, fire force can take the first place I don't care, I just want my comfy Dr. Stone.
Glad you liked it user
It's just some tourist Yea Forumsirgins shitposting, nothing we haven't seen before
nice
Genetics
>Half Japanese
>Byakuya was the only Japanese male in space
>Somehow there are two "half Japanese girls" in the village
Also can we talk for a second about how super inbred everybody in the village's ancestors would have been?
They combed this over by saying since the "samples" of genetic material were from completely different parts of the world, said genetic material was diverse enough to not mutate. Also 10 billion chapters later we find
a whole island of them
>knows the exact time by counting seconds manually
That's so lame and stupid. It would be completely off.
Even a decent quartz clock wouldn't be able to tell the exact day anymore after thousands of years.
He should have done something clever instead like figuring out the time from the star constellations.
Just wait till they get to that part and you'll see why your idea wouldn't work.
Wow, dropped
Based retard.Share Netflix library please.
>half-japanese
When was this said? All I remember was pic related.
Of the six survivors, two seemed to have died of illness, offspring unknown; two left, but said to 'take care of the children', which hints at least a couple of them were theirs; and presumably the rest were Byakuya and Lillian's.
Yeah, you can't trust the human mind even if you're that smart
Essentially Kohaku is a mutt
Literally nobody in the village should have been even remotely Japanese in appearance.
It doesn't even have to do anything with being smart
.
Too precisely count seconds for thousands of years you need an extremely precise oscillator, the human body lacks that no matter how "good" your brain is. It doesn't even have anything near as precise as a common cheap watch.
They both look like mental deficients.
You known that all the shitposting went to FF so you're lucky
What is this expression trying to convey?
raw sexual energy
>his body was unconsciously noting diurnal and seasonal temperature variations and automatically doing the math to calibrate his internal clock on a rolling basis without him even realizing it
>his body was unconsciously noting diurnal and seasonal temperature variations
Those drift a lot too with time.
Hell, we're overdue for an ice age.
>anyone I dont like is a commie
He literally is an anarcho-primitivist, he doesnt want any ruler to be revived including commie rulers, and rejects all civilization and scientific advances
Commies still did science
I don't get whats wrong with this. "Protagonist" doesn't mean "the coolest guy in the show", its whatever person we're supposed to experience the story through, and at least in the first episode thats clearly the meathead guy
any post starting in "How dare" is not worth reading
have this
True. It belongs in the same list as "yikes," "oof," and "maybe, just maybe."
>any post ever
>worth reading
you naive bastard
Senkuu creative nuclear bombs and going full Oppenheimer when?
Can't wait for this part
Is he unhappy about his moldy hair?
Nuclear is a stretch, but he did already BTFO everyone with bombs.
But they will eventually reach the nuclear age? How do you think they will tackle this sensitive issue?
Much worse. Taiju is being retarded again
stop using unspoilered images in the anime discussion thread you gigantic faggot, let the first timers experience it in time
My prediction is that the island has a petrification device because it was used from the ISS by one of the astronauts so the next arc will probably be the space race.
They haven't reached it yet, maybe when they need to fight the final boss.
Senkuu doesn't care for ethics, everyone would make brick shitting faces while Senkuu would do it without an afterthought, would probably talk about Einsteins contribution etc.
The image has no context, there's gonna be silly faces. Wow such spoil
So should I expect Ayy Lmaos to make an appearance?
It's still a key comedy frame, it takes less time to check the spoiler tag than bothering to make a reply like this. Let the anime-only fags experience the comedy parts on their own as well.
No. Aliens can't speak our language, so they can't be the whyman.
The prologue is the only good part in every other shounen and I seriously doubt this one will be the exception.
Prepare to be proven wrong then.
Shut the fuck up you dumb Spic. Nobody on Yea Forums has ever claimed an out of context reaction image is a spoiler.
>implying people wouldn't spoil themselves anyway
Calm down, I'm not spoilering anything major, it's just a face.
The prologue is the worst part.
He says this now...
> O MY MULTICORE BRAIN
>he can't partition his brain and have it work in parallel
Single core brainlets BTFO
>He doesn't have at least an i9 brain
But it would certainly be interesting Meetup. Senkuu realizing how insignificant and primitive humans truly are. What's wrong with some Lovecraftian/cosmological horror?
>lovecraftian
Every fucking time
Senkuu wouldn't be stunned anyway, he'd want to learn more.
>Senkuu and Taiju were thinking for 3700 years but Kars stopped before Pucci reset the universe, which was less than 70 years!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHA!
ULTIMATE LIFE FORM MY ASS!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Lovecraftian horror is literally the polar opposite of what this series is user. This series is all about science being the answer to every problem and the explanation of everything. Lovecraftian horror is all about science and religion both being equally and fundamentally trivial in the face of the true scale of the cosmos.
>Senkuu wouldn't be stunned anyway, he'd want to learn more
Is there nothing that would make him shit his pants?
Laxative
How mad will everybody be on a scale of 1 to fucking furious if it turns out the villain is Byakuya.
Just Taijus unlimited stupidity, you'll see in the next ep. He literally drives him mad. If it's just science beyond the mortal level of understanding we all good.
0 if they give me a good explanation.
It would be the first real asspull of the series. About time for a WSJ property.
Don't watch Jojo then.
Stop being a fag.
The petrification wave was released from the ISS by Byakuya who did it because he is actually just super evil. He's been alive on the island this whole time because he petrified himself in order to meet up with Senku one day expecting Senku to join him and rebuild civilisation with his science. His motive was a new flash back of Byakuya experiencing everything Tarzan complained about ruining civilisation, ergo he is a loser.
Let me guess, The villain is going to be a senku-tier evil scientist who's grown to hate science and sees it as the primary destructor of the enviroment, hence he turned to ecoterrorism and tried to "reset" the planet through petrification so science and humans could be erased in the process and the planet could have a fresh start
Yeah, but how did he pull it off? Y'know, the science behind it.
Some kind of wizard.
I could see that happen, but we don't know yet
Disappointed. But just because it'd be poorly explained.
>no Sulfy-chan fanart
And here I thought the manga was popular.
I can see a dark scientist being antagonist #2, specifically the why-man
that would give author an excuse to make an epic kingdom of science vs dark empire cover like with the stone wars arc
Not with pervers it seems
That makes a lot of sense.
Can't wait for all the Suika doujins.
You wouldn't fuck a watermellon
I would. For science.
>no Sulfy-chan
Fucking dropped!!
I love the originality, so sick of the superhero trope
