It doesn't feel like the final confrontation built to a climactic finish, but more like that we skipped the climax entirely, and all that was left was the result

They beat Diavolo, and then GER is his punishment.

I've been rereading the parts of the manga I think will get adapted before the episode airs. Part 4 is honestly the part I forgot about the most. Probably because I took a several year break in the middle waiting for the rescans to be finished. I think after the several years I started reading from in the middle of Highway Star. Part 6 is probably the one I remember the most so I'm excited for that.
