Time to start the shitshow.
Tracklist and submission details coming in the next post.
Good luck and have fun, everyone.

It's really hard organizing this all by yourself

>Catch you catch me
Oh baby
Are we doing the full versions or tv sized?
I'm actually surprised it took that long for Catch You Catch Me.
and so it begins
full versions
This is bittersweet. I can finally participate . I have been ps3 posting for 5 years and now have enough money to record on a toaster computer. But im now 23 years old. I feel like an old man doing this for the first time this late in the game. I missed out on all the good songs . Has Yea Forums done zombieland saga yet? I cant find it but it's such a good song i cant imagine no one has done it yet . I cant wait.
There were our warm-up gigs.
youtu.be
I have unironically seen none of these as I have just recently gotten into anime, dragon maid is on my list... can anyone recommend 1 or 2 others that they really think are worth watching so I can sing more than just the one
All 8 minutes of God Only Knows. Love the autism that's going around here.
Psycho pass season one is great if you took high school psychology and found it interesting.
Death parade is nice of you like ethics and questioning the nature of someones soul.
Lurk for 5 years, then you'll think about singing.
>Catch You Catch Me
>Aozora no Rhapsody
>More One Night
>Witch Activity
Holy shit this was made for me
I actually already sang for zombieland, coincidence it being of the 6 shows I’ve seen
>no Shiny Days
O Lord, why have you forsaken me?
nice thanks
You should step up your game, kouhai.
...wait for Triple Threat Round 3 then. At least we have all these other songs, won't ya sing with us, user?
I'll be lurking in hopes some of the songs I want doesn't get a lot of submissions.
Good luck everyone.
considering doing staple stable, do i have to sing the whole full song or just the bit used in the ED?
I want to sing at least MO WAN NIGHT, but if I get into the mood I might sing more.
Also
>1074
impressive, very nice
I'll likely sing Mob Psycho, I've been looking foward to it
if I weren't so busy with other stuff I would be able to help with mixing or videomaking, but unfortunately I won't be able to
Full version, not TV Size
It's outdated by like 40+ entries. Some of which I forgot the name of and others I am just too lazy to mark down. Opening the app while I watch an anime to auto-complete for me is a life-saver though.
Plus I've been reading nothing but Natsume Akatsuki works recently so I haven't got a chance to watch anime outside seasonal shit.
That's all good. Singing whatever's on the list is what matters first.
I hold the responsibility making sure Yea Forumsss 3 survives. Don't want another 2.5 to happen again.
Zetsuboushita!
The likelihood of making a fool of myself as a result of shitty singing has left me in despair!
I'm excited to see how Kamikyoku 2 turns out
you ever tried submitting to a project and they literally can't handle your fucking voice?
The mixing for GIRI GIRI AI better be good or else
Anybody wanna k/a/raoke to pass the time? Kuso Utau 3 is a GO
vocaroo.com
Bump for awareness. Good luck mixers.
Probably gonna do Stable Staple. Kind of surprised it hasn't been done yet. More One Night too.
Never done one of these though. Is a good way just finding a karaoke version of the song and singing over it while recording
wait, am I supposed to submit all of them at once? aren't we doing this one song at a time like previous Yea Forumsss?
>Ringo Mogire Beam
We'll take submissions as the weeks go on. So take your time about filling the list with your choices.
I like to sing along with the vocal version, makes it easier to tell where I'm off sync.
Oh damn Sugar Song to Bitter Step is on this one. I'm fucking in.
>We'll take submissions as the weeks go on. So take your time about filling the list with your choices.
but will it be all at once or song by song? this is important because one gives me time to relax while the other is a constant
It'll be song-by-song. If you look at what anons are eyeing in this thread, there are clear signs that some will be done first before others. When a mixer claims they have enough, I'll start crossing out closed projects and encourage others to try out the remaining ones.
Dammit I'm shit at reading romaji as tge songs are playing. This is going to take some concerted practice on my part.
Do you use audacity? If so, did you adjust the capture volume within audacity? If that were true, did you also adjust any sort of inherent gain on whatever microphone that you might be using? I have to adjust the latter two down a lot in order not to destroy the recording quality.
I am using audacity, but to be fair, I was pretty loud during that. I'm gonna try resubmitting tonight. It's not every day you sing Persona 5 songs.
If it helps try to learn some Japanese while you're at it. There's not a lot of sounds in the language and once you learn them you will know what to listen for.
For me the hardest part is learning the rhythm that the lyrics are sung. I can read the romaji fine, but I get tripped up by syllables that are extended or shortened to fit the meter. Guess I should just listen to the songs more while trying to memorize them verse by verse. That's what I did in high school when we had to learn songs for foreign language classes.
What I do is I listen to the song in a reduced speed and sing along. Once I feel comfortable enough, I do it at a normal speed. And yeah, it also helps to listen to the song a lot.
What's the deadline for submitting songs?
Stable Staple is at least straightforward. I was thinking One Night More would be easier, but there's a lot more fast speaking.
As stated in the txt file, it will vary. I plan to finish by the start of September, but it could go on further if quality or quantity of submissions are not enough.
For the fast parts, if you just possibly cannot do it in time just skip it and hopefully others will cover that bit for you
Heinously rare are the anime songs with a rather standard baritone range.
vocaroo.com
I just put dashes after extended syllables. For example this is part of what I did for Fuwa-Fuwa Time:
aa KAMI-SAMA onegai
futari- da-ke no DORI-I--MU TAIMU kuda--sa-i
ooki ni iri no usa-chan- daite---eh kon'ya-- mo O-YASUMI
More dashes indicate more time holding one syllable, works for me at least.
I'm actually not finding them as hard now after drilling myself a few dozen times. The hardest parts are when I can't really distinguish the sung lines and match them with the lyrics. That's what I was talking about earlier with words that have their syllables stretched.
Huh, that's not a bad idea, user.
For a while, I though you guys just go to discord and sing there.
Didn't know that you actually just edit and compile submissions together, seems like hard work
We opt that singfags do things the old fashioned way, find the thread, and get your chance to participate.
Getting the mixers together doesn't make my job any easier. Who gets up at what times, who is more active and isn't, etc.
Fair enough, timezones and schedules are a bit of a problem
>No Hanaji
D-dammit user, I'll do a quick karaoke and show you how fun it would be to include that
Nigga, I wanted it in as much as you do. But others didn't vote, so be it. Stick around for Triple Thre/a/t 3 once this is done. If you'll be around when it happens.

>Last Theater
Oh nice
Wait, where's volume 2?
You're getting me excited, user. Sound like a blast to mix. Though remember we do have 2 months or so, so need to rush and aim for perfection. Hope to hear you on more tracks.
A third complete, original crew probably bailed. I'll pull up what was actually finished and uploaded. For the record, we're a new group doing 3, except for Kamikyoku user. He's joining us to finish what he started.
Not an organizer, but upload to catbox.moe

stop being fags and use post processing, such revoicePro? (for timing) and noise cancelling, so more f/a/ggots can sing on the same tracks without ruin the song.
Bumpu
It could be worse.
We could sound like this.
files.catbox.moe
Staple Stable is coming along. Just need to keep drilling.
Do people ever listen to these after the first time? Most of them are shitty compared to the actual song and not in the endearing way like the old Yea Forums sings.
oh I was in this
This is beautiful.
I like this
lurk for 10 more years before posting
>forced laughing and all that shit in the Carlito one
doesn't even sound fun at that rate
I can't recommend Kekkai Sensen highly enough. Season 2 was one of my favorite things in recent memory. Lots of great action, fun characters, a lot of heart.
You haven't even watched Sakura? Or The World God Only Knows?
This is playing right now in the radio.
staple stable and sugar song if I ever manage to borrow a mic from my friend. At least my shitty voice wouldn't be even more shitty with factory mic of my laptop
>didn't bother voting because I didn't think my NEET live-at-home ass would have an opportunity to sing
>now I turn out to be home alone for a month and can sing, but some of the ones I would have voted for / suggested aren't in
This is like some Aesop's fable karmic retribution or something, fuck.
Are we getting instrumentals and lyrics for the songs?
google is your friend, buddy. or if you don't want, try bing
I'll add them next time to the txt. Kei has hers and I think Zet and Santa will follow shortly. I'll def get mine ready at some point too.
This too.
RIP whatever happened to kyubey because I loved their mixes
I read the thread name and had a flashback about user sperging out because it was asses intead of ass
I still have it, user. Never understood that guy's problem.
I don't follow these threads but why is this tracklist all the stuff that we haven't done? What about all the racks that were made between vol 2 and now?
Whoops, I guess not. But yeah, I know what you're referring to. He kept trying to edit people's album covers to include 'asses'.
That... should've been obvious. Anons MAKE the album that we'll title 'Yea Forumsss 3'. Weren't you here for Yea Forumsss 2, 5 years ago?
Correct me but I thought these compilations were just whatever stuff you make gathered into an album, yet you somehow decided to skip all the songs finished in the past 5 years and just make an entirely new track list? It doesn't make any sense to me.
Of course not, most people don't even finish the first listen.
From what I remember, they aren't. Quite a few of the tracks from Yea Forumsss 1 were made after the reveal, like Welcome to the NHK OP or Madoka Magica OP for example.
Yea Forumsss 2 never really finished if you look on what's finished and hasn't, so they're not compilations of previous works either.
I do have some "remasters" planned for Yea Forumsss 3, but so far they're remasters of my projects, since I seem to be the weakest link.
But to ultimately answer your question, no. They're not JUST compilations of previous projects. They're be a lot of back-and-fourth going around if I had to do that.
>Noragami OP2 Hey Kids
YES YES YES
Bump
bump
SAA IKOU ZEEEEEEEE
CHUU CHUU YEAH!
I can't wait.
PLEASE ME
chuu chuu yeah!
Awareness bump.
This makes me wish I already live alone right now.
if I still had opioids I'd atleast submit something recorded with my lapel mic and audacity, but I guess I'll just be looking forward to yet another great collection of audible autism
Really wish there were more songs suited for deep, bass-heavy voices. I never contributed to Yea Forumsss but I might try it this time around.
From what I understand, all songs are still open for submission, right?
You could drop the song by an octave and sing that, it'd add more variety and harmony to the song.
Are you maybe thinking of the orchestr/a/ albums?
Interest bump
Ooh, I like that tracklist a lot.
A lot of male-sung songs too, so it should be easier to make sound less awkward.
>Witch Activity
OH SHIT NIGGER
ITS TIME
>Rashisa (Barakamon OP)
>Ne ne junon boy, it's Saturday!
I miss you Barakalads
Um, sorry for being a newfag, but can you give me a hint for the radio? . I forgot all those long ago.
Let's have a cold one bois
nah, I got it.
gay summer cancer
>From what I understand, all songs are still open for submission, right?
We just started. Go nuts.
One off
I'm interested in mixing a song, but I don't have any experience, even though I at least know how to use Audacity.
I can't promise you that you'll be working on Yea Forumsss 3 much, but email me if you think you're still interested.
Who do I send my recordings to?
...
Are we getting folders with lyrics, the actual song and the like like we got for the triple threat songs?
So let's say I have some mixing experience, can I just opt in to mix a track but leave the advertising and posting threads and all that stuff to someone else instead cause I don't have the time to?
We're working on that. Kei, Valen and Santa are now doing theirs. I'll update the txt next time.
>So let's say I have some mixing experience, can I just opt in to mix a track
It'd be nice to lessen my load since I'm doing like 4-5 projects and not many people here even like 'my' mixes compared to the rest of the team.
If you're the user who sent me that email a couple minutes ago, we'll talk things out through there.
A thanks to the bumpfags, by the way. I don't even know who you guys are but your efforts to keep us alive is much obliged.
Especially how rough it is to get Yea Forums sings started on Yea Forums.
Speaking of which, one of our mixers participated in a recent Yea Forums sings hosted by a new mixer I'm branching with.
youtu.be
Could you guess who's singing out of us?
>not many people here even like 'my' mixes compared to the rest of the team.
That's what happens when you use Audacity.
God dammit, I told you niggers I'm still learning. Yea Forums sings Judgement and Rouge of Love will be my first tries using other software. B-Besides, Jebus uses Audacity.
the autism is going to be glorious
>I'm still learning.
All the more of a reason to use a software that's actually designed for the thing you're trying to do on it. Mixing on Audacity is like painting with your eyes closed.
Only real artists use Audacity.
>Could you guess who's singing out of us?
It's Kei chan.
>One room sugar life
Please mixer don't try and have everyone singing at once for the fast bits
>Could you guess who's singing out of us?
Cee?Though I also recognize the girl at the start but that could be an user who's been in Yea Forums sings before
Noragami, come honor the hero with us
So which mixer is winning the kei chan bowl?
Will instrumental mp3s be provided or are we finding them ourselves?
Also I am a drawfag and will make pictures for Yea Forumsss 3.
bumpu
bedford, he's not even in Yea Forumsss 3 but he'll win
bingo. you win
bzzzt. I'm sending you to detroit
good job but you need to squeeze your balls harder to sound right
Time to go to Crystal Cafe for more femanons
Bruh, I only use it cause I mix my own songs. I've tried mixing an Yea Forums sings with it and it's hard and it sucks.
Ah what a shame i don't really fancy any of these songs. Good luck anons! hope it ends up great
whats a dedicated singfag
That's just fucking counterproductive, it's so much harder to mix in audacity than something like reaper.
Jebus comes to mind. Does Ronery ever do Yea Forums sings anymore? Or Voicefag?
how do i be one
Even though you're a tripfag, I'll miss you when you eventually retire from doing the holid/a/y songs. Hopefully someone else picks up on it
Then can you please get one or both of the Konosuba EDs on the album seeing you have contact to the guy? I think they're the best among the newer Yea Forums sings.
>using mal
this really is nu-Yea Forums
That means alot, user. I don't plan to retire for a long time but i'm sure someone will continue when the day comes.
Aww man, was really hoping for Hanaji. Started testing voices and everything..
vocaroo.com
So what would be the best software to use for mixing an Yea Forums sings?
cute
I hope someone picks up after you. Collage user retired but luckily someone picked up after him. Please never delete any of your videos
just finished recording catch you catch me lads, can't wait
symphogear OP 1 synchrogazer WHEN? XV is airing this season, we should do a song
Unless YT itself deletes them, they're staying up on there. Also I have all of them backed up in case.
Reaper, timing is quite easy on it and it has a decent set of built in live fx.
Also doesn't need crack, just download straight from the main site.
>no cover of FIRE yet
god only knows will be such a shitfest, I'm looking forward to it, just finished recording it, and I was planning to actually sing but it ended up becoming a 8 minute long shitpost
How do people finish so fast?
did Yea Forums ever sing the dororo opening
That cover was absolute cancer, even by Yea Forums's standards.
Audacity literary takes 2 minutes to autotune a cover.
Also, add some fucking lyrics to what theses autists are saying
no
Just to be sure, the deadline is a month away, right?
>song goes too fast
I am one irl for nipsongs karaoke, would like to be a dedicated singfag for Yea Forums sings but alas, can't record anywhere in my house without bothering everyone else due to my autistic screeching
JIBUUN WOOOOOO
>cee was here
fuck off cee
hopefully it doesn't run out by the time i'm 100% better
What a thrill...
WAKE UP
>Staple Stable
>Last Theater
>Aozora no Rhapsody
>One Room Sugar Life
>Monster Without a Name
Fuck, my voice can't handle this.
Does the sing clique also have a Genesis of Aquarion take, because the orchestra clique did a pretty solid take on it. Or are you secretly the same people?
That was done a while ago
youtube.com
If Dororo OP1 ever gets done, it better be in line after or in tandem with at least the following:
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
youtube.com
I think is right, leaving a watermark is too much even for tripfag standars
some guys attempted to do it during Winter but I don't know if something ever came out of that.
you can try and look on the archive
the song is shit desu
Any DAW, it's just a matter of preference. Audacity is not a DAW. Here's a pretty reasonable and not overly long list: equipboard.com
It's not mal, but is an app stat tracker.
I wish I can be he's not even answering. Which is why I put him back to backup mixer.
>That cover was absolute cancer, even by Yea Forums's standards.
Feel free to make another one. This was voted among mixers to win. I wanted Sharo from GochiUsa. Looks like we both don't get what we want.
It was actually to remind myself to polish the cover and finish the back.
I wasn't done making either of them but I had to get something out to start Yea Forumsss 3. Lossless png no-watermark version coming next thread.
So eat my ass until then.
I'm using Cakewalk along with Santa. You guys need to fucking chill about my Audacity thing. It's getting really annoying.
>but is an app stat tracker
Where do you need tracking?
Check your inbox, I sent you an email
>Rin Sun, Steak eater and other
Damn, that was fun.
bampu desu
Not that I mind, but you can stop bumping for now. I think a full weekend into July got quite a lot of attention.
I miss her.
Probably too late to start learning how to join this thing now but am looking forward to the results
It's not hard user just record your self then send it to the right mixer.
Just do it faggot.
