Episode 110: 哀の苛立ち – Ai no Iradachi (The Annnoyance of Sympathy) Ai has discovered Akira and Blue Maiden in the network. In order to seize control of SOL Technology's system, he challenges the two of them to a Duel. The Zaizen siblings protect each other and fend off Ai's attacks. With their minds as one, the two of them launch a counterattack against Ai.
Episode 111: せめぎ合う意思 – Semegiau Ishi (Clashing Wills) Akira and Blue Maiden work together to break through Ai's battle formation, but Ai then summons a new trump card and drives the two of them into a corner again. Despite Ai's intensifying attacks against them, the Zaizen siblings' bond remain strong, and they manage to summon forth a new ace monster.
Episode 112: SOL社の凋落 – Soru sha no Chōraku (The Fall of SOL) LINK VRAINS, which should have been shut down, is now open again, and many citizens of Den City begin to log in. In order to search for clues about Ai, who has taken over SOL, Soulburner decides to investigate LINK VRAINS. There, he discovers an island he has never seen before. On the island is a country filled with appliances. Soulburner then encounters Roboppy in the country.
Episode 113: 家電の王様 – Kaden no Ōsama (The King of Household Applicances)
>Soulburner then encounters Roboppy in the country wow can't wait for the totally unpredictable outcome of the supposed "bad" duelist winning against the experienced duelist.
Dylan Gray
>VRAINS >dignity This season is just a huge mound of fanservice and it's still the best VRAINS has been.
Good. Have a nice, long cry about letting your emotions be dictated by an anime about a children's card game anime and kill yourself. Free us and yourself from your autism.
Landon Hall
I feel your English gets worse everytime you show up.
Gavin Gutierrez
Templars aren't evil. Crusades are good.
Anthony Rogers
>wemkofag living rent free in user's head so hard he samefag while trying to keep the thread alive based
>Hey, we made a setup for 6 villain characters, ideal for the 6 LI children to take on! >That's far too many designs for us to make, let's retcon them out instead, nobody will remember anyway. >But we have only 2 villains for next season, won't that get repetitive?? >Just like last season, haha XD
>he doubt that chadburner will win Enjoy your few weeks, he is the new shotakiller
Noah Fisher
>killer Villains are the ones who do the killing. Roboppi can't die until he uses the skill and levels up more.
Justin Evans
>everyone dies but then no they didn't die >no stakes, no consequences, no worries This is the worst ygo by far. Worse than zexal S1.
Hunter Thompson
Dr. Kogami's dead, Bohman and Haru aren't coming back, all the Ignis are gone. The kill count isn't zero by any means.
Nathan James
>Dr. Kogami Literally who. Not even a character since he's dead since ep 1. Irrelevant for your imaginary body count. >Bohman and Haru Villains and non-human. Their "death" is irrelevant. >Ignis Non-human side characters, except for Ai who's alive.
Call me when sb, ghost girl, go, blue maiden or her brother, or revolver perma-die.
Brody Evans
You want the main heroes and the rival to permanently die? That never happens in any series.
Nolan Robinson
>That never happens in any series. t. just watching toy selling shows
Andrew Reed
It does in the dub :^)
Levi White
>Zexal S1 >bad
fuck off, shoudla used Arc-V post Standard as your example
Jordan Foster
Okay, in any yugioh series really. When it happens in the first one it just ends.
Camden Gutierrez
I hope we get a Brave Max episode now that Link Vrains is open again
Go should have still been evil, and a literal skeleton in this season. At least it would be fun.
Gabriel Garcia
what's the point of having such a small main cast if you're just going to watch them job over and over again? Fuck's sake, this is the reason villains have minions and we get tournament arcs, so that people get wins and don't look like chumps.
Fuck's sake, this win record is worthless and these are supposed to be our good guys. This may work for Dragon Ball, but not here. Oh wait, Dragon Ball at least throws a bone every once in a while to the secondary characters instead of making them lose except against each other.
Camden Barnes
>what's the point of having such a small main cast if you're just going to watch them job over and over again? Fuck's sake, this is the reason villains have minions and we get tournament arcs The trio with cg monsters has a lot of wins. Which is pretty much all you can get out of any yugioh series. Maybe a fourth and a fifth character wins regularly in other ones.
Matthew Campbell
what trio? this time it's only Soulburner and Playmaker, even Revolver looks more worthless as days go by simply because the people he beats are worthless.
James Ramirez
>go, windy, and blood shepherd are worthless Get out of here.
Liam Gonzalez
>go is worthless only has one win against a henchman and earth that previously jobbed against Playmaker >blood shepherd is this the win rate of someone that actually matters? >windy the fuck, that guy NEVER WON.
>win rates Fuck off. The super AI, famous duelist, and crazy bounty hunter. Jonouchi and Kaiba never beat anyone with great records.
Nicholas Jenkins
oh but those guys actually had higher than 50% win records. Their only losses were to the bigger villains. Unlike Blood Shepherd that can only win against fucking Ghost Girl and Ghost Girl that can only win against a joke like Brave Max.
Isaiah Morales
>Roboppi vs Soulburner Rejoice Roboppifags, we get more Appliancers AND another win under Roboppi's belt
>oh but those guys actually had higher than 50% win records Playmaker, Soulburner, and Revolver have above 50 percent win records, not that it matters.
Hudson Adams
ok, but you acknowledged that they're the main trio. These are supposed to be our good guys but they can never manage to win outside of those three. What the fuck does that say about them.
Colton Rodriguez
>The Super AI That got shitted a lot of times, brutally beated, burned, and the only relevant thing he did was kill his own partner, a literal who >famous duelist In-lore? Yes. For the watchers? No. You want me to take him seriously? Build him from the VERY beggining like with Aki Izayoi, who was teased as some evil witch that even with the obvious jobbers, she was actually brutal with them. Or better yet, Kaiser Ryo just won against Judai in his own very first duel. If you want to use actual jobbers, use them early and try to build up some development >crazy bounty hunter Read above. Literally the same. >Jonouchi and Kaiba never beat anyone with great records. Jounochi had a sister who need money for some operation and he went and got second in a tournament (with Yugi being the one who won the first place), and he stood against Marik and technically speaking, he won against him. Kaiba strong will to win against Yugi was enough to actually build some machine shit just to go fight against him. Compare all of that shit with Windy, who was literally the buttmonkey of the Ignis, Go who is literally a very poor budget version of BUY BLACKWING Crow, and BS who, despite having some cool backstory, his only real win is against Emma and you know VRAINS don't treat their females well
Soulburner win, Shota kill, everything good Yes and yes
Caleb James
>main trio I don't care. >These are supposed to be our good guys but they can never manage to win outside of those three That's not even true, but standard support characters. think mai I guess. >a literal who They were built up as super AI for a long time and he was already established as a tricky bastard. > For the watchers? Yes, they told you he was the top chrasima duelist. >who was teased as some evil witch that even with the obvious jobbers That's just something to fill time. We all know what happened in the long run. >Kaiser Ryo His arc was just about his power backfiring. >Read above. Literally the same. I don't care, he was threatening and almost beat soulburner before emma pulled the plug. >Jounochi had a sister who need money for some operation and he went and got second in a tournament (with Yugi being the one who won the first place), and he stood against Marik and technically speaking, he won against him. What does his motive have to do with winning against people with great records? And marik didn't have a good record either. >Kaiba strong will to win against Yugi was enough to actually build some machine shit just to go fight against him. What does that have to do with him beating non jobbers. I swear you win record fags just want to complain.
Grayson Rodriguez
nuh uh user the second coming I can't wait for you to say that Vrains being mediocre to bad doesn't matter because all card game anime are mediocre
No, faggot. VRAINS clearly has problems with pacing. Bitching about win records is certainly nonsense though.
Connor Rodriguez
win records are important in shonen because they show us our characters are meaningful. If they're duelists, their worth is measured by their win rate and power. If they can't provide that, then they're worthless in a shonen sense.
What you can do then is make them a meaningful part of the character interactions and give them plot importance - except vrains manages to fuck up that too, somehow. Playmaker faces no conflict or character development, Ghost Girl and Shepherd never show any kind of reason they should have forgiven each other so easily, any kind of meaningful development the Lost Incident could have been given us towards Soulburner and the other kids is just wasted into maybe 1-2 weeks or even worse, just manages to be a fake out like Specter feeling guilt back in S1 and Soulburner not having PTSD.
This is even worse than Yuya egao'ing people in Fusion and XYZ back in Arc-V, it just doesn't have Egao.wav or an annoying word attached to it, so detractors don't have an easy scapegoat. All development is handled off-screen, holy shit.
Vrains could be at least entertaining, dueling-wise, but manages to fuck that up too.
Luke James
>win records are important in shonen because they show us our characters are meaningful. Your premise is retarded. Support characters clearly exist. This is especially wrong in so many manga that center around one hero. >Playmaker faces no conflict or character development Bullshit he turns over his revenge and grows warmer to people and AI, even if it's real slow about it. The conflicts are the damn duels and opponents he faces. >Ghost Girl and Shepherd never show any kind of reason they should have forgiven each other so easily Blood Shepherd is soft to his female relatives and doesn't want to see more get hurt. He just needed to get over himself and realize his father was long gone. >any kind of meaningful development the Lost Incident could have been given us towards Soulburner and the other kids is just wasted into maybe 1-2 weeks It's background not active development. >just manages to be a fake out like Specter feeling guilt back in S1 and Soulburner not having PTSD. Soulburner got over it and they did show how he did it. Specter is just a bad guy shown through all his duels. >All development is handled off-screen, holy shit. Yusaku is saved and helped and becomes more willing to engaged on screen. Aoi tries to become more about others on screen and over time. Go loses it on screen and it is seen. Where are you getting this? >Vrains could be at least entertaining, dueling-wise I don't play the game so I don't care, but the comeback style is something a lot of shonen uses.
Evan Johnson
>I don't play the game so I don't care You just lost EVERY point of belief now, fuck off.
Brody Phillips
If you cared about credibility you wouldn't be here.
Chase Wright
Not gonna waste my time with you, fuck off and kill yourself
So who will Revolver use Zerovoros against? Ai or Sauceburner
Owen Bailey
>revolver has above 50% winrate lmao no he doesn't, 4 """"wins"""", 6 non wins
Ayden Flores
Who cares, he's going to job either way, already a month too late to shill
Dylan Adams
user from one of the previous threads that was rewatching GX. Holy fuck season 3 and 4 was some shit especially since the first and last time i saw season 3 was when the dub was still airing So ryo's heart is still perma fucked even after he stopped using the Cyber dark deck? I thought when he died in the other world and came back in season 4 his heart got back to normal but was just gonna be bedridden. What happened to Amon and echo? Are they actually permadead or was it just a case of the writers forgetting/not knowing what to do with the characters?
Elijah Walker
>What happened to Amon and echo? They are 100% dead. Seriously GX is the only season where some characters straight up died. There's also that teacher that hated Jaden in S3
5Ds had the Goodwin brothers, the father of the kids from Crashtown, Bruno and literally everyone in an alternative future. ZEXAL had Mr. Heartland brutal death, and... that's it Arc-V had Roger and Sergey. VRAINS had.... that scientist who was just a secondary antagonist and died against Specter
Joseph King
Blue Angel.
Robert Gonzalez
Not gonna lie out of the 4 academy reps in S3 Amon was actually my favorite followed by Jim and then the others. I just wish Amon did more than what he did atleast had one duel with judai or join up with O'Brian and co. When taking haou down or something >Tfw you'll never have a waifu selflessly sacrifice herself, preventing you and herself from truly falling in love just so you can reach your highets potential and then still love you after becoming a guardian angel/demon I know judai more or less has that with yubel but goddamn Amon unironically had it made
Cameron Green
Ignis, kogami, bohman, haru?
Anthony Jones
I felt more impacted with that scientist dead that those you listed, also the ones I posted
Kayden Green
I don't think he was a scientist actually. Just a greedy executive.
Amon was a really interesting character. Started as a good guy but his greed slowly took over him. Even in the very end, he was more of an anti-hero than a villain as shown when Yubel wanted to use his darkness. Really liked him and felt disturbed when he didn't come back. God knows where he went after losing the duel
Originally, the cause of his heart condition was the use of electrodes during Underground Duels. After the writer change from Season 3 to 4, it got retconned to him being disrespectful with his Deck as the reason (when in Season 3 he no longer was like that, going back to his Cyber Dragons and not using Power Wall anymore).
So, post-retcon, his heart should no longer be fucked since his Deck was passed on to Syrus/Sho, who "respected" it by creating a mess of a Deck.
That... actually makes sense to explain how he got a jet out of nowhere. Doesn't make it less hilarious, though.
Nicholas Moore
Depends on how you define "sense", the military should have noticed something like that.
Camden Allen
here is how the rest of our beloved revulva sama's record will go like >while soulburner is searching link vrains and finds roboppy, revulva does the same and runs into pandor (win, taking Ai's sloppy seconds just like s1 he took Playmaker's sloppy seconds) >soulburner finds him then challenges him to a duel (lose, soulburner finally gets revenge and peace) >a mad revulva decides to continue fighting anyway since he never gives up his mission and challenges Ai like the retardvulva he is (gets absolutely BTFO) >an even more mad revulva fights playmaker and Ai at the end of the series since he still hasn't learned his lesson (a BTFO like never before) >final record (5-9, maybe we can padd it out and add some draws, making it 5-10/5-11/5-12, a record worse than Go Onizuka) I think everyone will be satisfied with this
Nicholas Ward
He's not getting that many duels.
Julian Hernandez
he has a stlucture deck shitvulva to shill
Austin Miller
He needs only 2 for that probably
Ethan Nguyen
but it's revulllllvaaaaa sammmmaaaaaa, he will get as many shit duels as possible, not to mention they will probably give him 1 more booster cover (lmao excharge) again
Justin Rodriguez
he only needs 3 for the whole season probably.
Levi Carter
yeah and they still gave him 3 useless duels in s2 and 4 useless duels in s1, what makes you think they will keep it short and simple for shitvullvvaaaaaaa sama
Michael Bell
I think the reason Revolver makes you so mad is because you're too fucking retarded to understand his character. Everything you said not only not make sense for Revolver but not even for the story itself. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you? What has to happen to someone in order to become like you?
Juan Flores
It was just six episodes last season.
James Lewis
it does make sense though, his only goal is to kill ignis, no matter how much he gets BTFO and never learns his lesson he will always try to kill ignis
>Aoi actually using her powerful archetype effectively This isn't season 1 of Arc-V and she's no Reiji
Aaron Gutierrez
>you're too fucking retarded to understand his character. his character is that he wants to kill ignis, and makes it his only mission, he never gives up on his mission, what else is there to understand?, also how does it not make sense in the story itself, whatever i'm saying makes more sense than whatever revolver has actually done this season with creating fucking pandor the fucking retard he is
IT'S NOT OVER YET, MIYUBROS. There's no way a Ygo series doesn't have a tournament arc. They probably are saving a real world only arc to increase the life span of the mr4 format.
I really want the next series to be about magic or the occult again. So tired of tech and science. Plus so many of the monsters look digital or robotic, I want to return to the traditional monsters of yugioh's past.
Jose Sanders
>occult >when we only recently got new fortune ladies those designs are still around just not as overt
Henry Clark
the characters are basically magicians anyway who compete on whose computer dueling magic is better, it's all just dressed up in digital window dressing so they might as well commit and bring back the magic/historical aesthetics. unless they recycle, there's not really any other tech-based near-future premises they can do after VR that sounds like a solid foundation
It's still following the conflict of super AI and humans though.
Zachary Jones
>They probably are saving a real world only arc to increase the life span of the mr4 format. >MR4 More reason to end drains as quickly as possible.
Cameron Thompson
What region of the world would you want to see magic and occult stuff from that hasn't been done already or isn't a bad idea?
Nathaniel Long
Well the card game has stuff like noble knights, so I think something european or medievil related could be fun. Since the japanese love using european settings for there fantasy stories. China has a lot of cool myths and legends that could be explored. Or just give me more egyption stuff. Since that what yugioh started with. There are so many other egyption characters they could explore to expand the world of yugioh.
Camden Scott
Is there anything as good or better than 5D's?
Mason Morris
That sounds like it would produce a lot of redundant cards unless the staff or an important writer knew obscure myths about that shit. Which seems improbable.
Jonathan Ross
>right after the Revolver's SD release we did it Revolverbros we're finally meta
Leo Nelson
It wouldn't be the first time to be fair. But even if certain card themes have been done before, They could put a new interesting spin on a past concept.
Levi Long
Sure dragons and knights are repeatable but can you repeat stuff like magicians without it seeming played out?
Levi Green
the anime has done egyptians who could use magic, and magic/achemy-specialized characters in spin-offs, but has never actually centered a premise on just magicians duking it out. Like how past life Vector and Shark were identified foremost as kings of nations rather than magic users
Yeah that past life duel between vector and shark was pretty cool. I'd love to see something like that in a new season. Maybe time to give Zexal a rewatch.
Levi Moore
Was Quickdraw going to take new requests this weekend?
Gabriel Ward
>Nasch finally defeats Vector and his army in his revenge quest, but at the price of everyone he brought with him >at that exact moment of realization of what he sacrificed, Durbe brings him out of his past life dream to ask what he resolves to do now don't care what anyone says, that was kino
Jace Jones
When the the magic is made explicit in a premise, the reason for why characters have to duel to resolve conflicts is more clear and anchored. In arc-v and vrains it's mostly "uhhhh because reasons". Through monster bosses and card effects to support their monsters, characters basically behave like summoner-class magicians you'd find in fictional books like the Bartimaeus series, anyway.
Tyler Phillips
technology is magic
Liam Murphy
Yeah but it sounds way better when they explicitly call it out.
Jackson Wilson
Yusaku vs Ai round 1 when or are we getting more random jobbers that are jealous of the main cast?
Jordan Morgan
I have to admit, Miyu looks pretty sexy/cute in that pic. Kinda makes me wish she would be more relevant but at the same time I feel the actual cast is pretty much fine already.
Ryan Turner
it's magic but once removed. ironically, the anime feels more down-to-earth when magic is directly shown to be involved in some way
I see. I thought it would be their duality in personality that would make them complement each other well but it's nice to see that there's more to it.
Anna would be good friends with almost everyone but the stoic characters.
Andrew Roberts
Here we go again. Tell me stuff to draw. Just like we did last time I'll pick up some of the late requests at random as well. Rules: No genderbend, no yaoi/yuri
Not sure if it counts as gender bending. But I'd like to request one of the Borrel dragons wearing a maid outfit. Since it was recently announced we were getting a dragon maid archetype.
Chaos Goddess flying a triplane, guns firing, and in the background the sun has the face from Northwemko's staff. Glad to see things are returning to normal for you.
That duel in the anime where the Princesses suddenly open up into reels and haul the other guy's screaming monster into the Giant Killer to be ground up was so cool. I
I've always wished Doll Chimera (or at least the concept) had been released as a Gimmick Puppet. It would fit so well.
>Despite Ai's intensifying attacks against them, the Zaizen siblings' bond remain strong, and they manage to summon forth a new ace monster. I can't wait for the Tindangle link 4 with water attribute that gains 2000 attack points for every flip monster in the graveyard.
>How accurate is it really that Kazuki likes Kaiba best? Not a chance, Kaz cut Kaiba from the final arc and cut Set's development.
Wyatt Morales
Other posters would probably say he was too sick and that editors wanted him to finish up the manga. But the fact that the connection between kaiba and blue eyes wasn't consistently developed and only hinted to be deeper many years in may show a lack of planning from my point of view.
Levi Jenkins
I hope Yusaku goes up, though these polls' results depend heavily on nostalgia.
Austin Bennett
I think you should lose hope now before it crush you, trust me. I actually forgot about this thread and had to attend some important stuffs >late I don't even know if it's worth it but I try again. Northwemko in a maid outfit Hopefully for the good!
At least we can hope that things change for the good. And yeah hope that somehow it exists. That's funny indeed. It's true that I am not enjoying VRAINS (although that's true since a lot of episodes before, but the latests ones are getting too rough for me). I am here to see how it will end and hopefully see some good duels and animation... which the only thing it worked was with Allure Queen because of the nostalgia. Robbopy was such a letdown and I hope Pandor can be somehow competent and not another failure of Revolver Also hi Chaos Goddess user!
It was bad in the anime. The anime had really set itself up to be CARD GAMES CARD GAMES (The manga had more sol moments and discussion about the pharaoh and the millennium items), so when that arc hit it just didn't fit in. It also had terrible pacing and the arc itself just wasn't entertaining animated.
Kevin Morales
its very fun in manga, but thats because there's continuity with season 0, while in the anime Bakura feels really random
Cooper Ross
man Marincess are a lot of fun
Austin Sanchez
Maybe roboppi will transform into revolver to put soulburner on edge.
You're not enjoying it? Sure, it's definitely got issues, but I think there's still a show to enjoy. Don't get your hopes up. Vrains has really tipped its hand in how things will play out. Also herro Northwemko user! Any chance pixiv is working or you've made what we talked about, even if only to export 90% of these postings?
Camden Phillips
Based Zaizen brothers jobbing like there's no tomorrow.
William Long
Just like everyone who isn't playmaker.
Owen Gomez
Yusaku will still be the least popular and rightfully so.
Zachary Jones
What if they put a seventh protagonist in?
Jaxson Long
Blue Whore Her new character arc will revolve around her selling herself in the streets.
Oliver Green
It is pretty obvious that Kaz favors Kaiba when he made an entire movie about him.
I wish I could say the same, but at this point I think is just Stockholm syndrome stuff. I mean I could stop watching it but sadly I want to know how it will end. In terms of opinion this will definetly remain as my least liked season of Yu-Gi-Oh!... Yeah, I guess you are right Right now Pixiv is still not working, and I am definetly less time online, but I try to create one eventually. Hopefully soon. I couldn't even continue to color Quickdraw deliveries....
It would be an emperor since magnus dux is like 3 ranks below emperor. There's nothing bigger than an elephant to use as a mount, which was already a huge reach, so maybe it would just be a based chair man.
Zexal is the last.legit good Yugioh series. The start is very weak, but it only gets better and better as it goes along untill the final arc where it peaks and is just kino. The only real gripes I have with Zexal is that Yuma's friends from school are way too unimportant, boring, useless or just downright annoying URA for the amount screentime they get and that all duels basically boil down to >turbo out xyz boss monster >Sit on that fucker for the entire duel untill someone manages to out UNGA the other's boss monster with retardedly high ATK numbers But other than that you will have a pretty good time if you like over the top chuuni characters playing cardgames with so much ham and cheese it will clog up your arteries.
I still find it funny that the opening makes it looks like that yusaku and Takeru are best friends ala Judai/Johan and Yusei/Bruno, but in the actual show Yusaku treats him as an acquaintance or colleague at best.
I wonder if there's no vrains manga because they couldn't get yoshida to write another one. It would be funny if this franchise lost the only writer it has who can keep the plot from derailing.
Jeremiah Reyes
Maybe their planned manga artist couldn't do the job because of an emergeny. The new 2 mangas re being done by the 5ds mangaka and a new one. The mangaka of Zexal and ArcV (the best one) is nowhere to be found.
Christian Rivera
There's no Vrains manga because the format is ending and it would be too short-lived
Jason King
They don't change mangas as soon as formats change. But I can see them wanting to shill newer shit faster though.
Luis Johnson
>mangas
Xavier Adams
>shitvulva proving yet again he's the weakest of the trio OH NO NO NO NO
Jose Watson
they would start to rush it as soon as YGO7 begins
Cooper King
They sure as hell didn't rush the arc-v manga, it was only on chapter 21 or 22 when vrains started.
Lincoln Sanders
I used to give some of the 5d's ADs shit for how they drew the characters and their styles being uglier than the others, but they look like gods of drawing now when compared to the poor caliber of the outsource teams they have to work with these days
gomen, Natsukawa
Jeremiah Nelson
wouldnt be surprised if vrains is the least watched yugioh spin off, so by consequence he naturally gets the least votes
Aiden Cooper
there's a good number of zexal duels id consider rewatching despite having worse duel writing than 5d's, just because of the catharsis of watching characters who pour their entire passion into the duel the only times vrains even starts to approach that is with a few characters on a few occasions
Mason Phillips
By the time they do another one they'll have added a seventh protagonist.
Connor Ross
I'd say it wouldn't be that hard for the ygo7 protagonist to shoot over yusaku's ranking (maybe not the others, but yusaku definitely) if he makes a strong and good first impression. I dont really have my hopes up for him, though
Lincoln Jackson
I don't know. People complain about yuma a lot but he's still above yuya and yusaku. Unless someone is absolutely amazing I doubt it can shake things like that. Especially if only less people are watching over time.
Cameron Moore
Wasn't that protagonist poll taken literally when Vrains started?
Austin Williams
No, march 2018.
Brody Smith
Yes, but considering Yusaku has had almost no growth as a character (mainly because he was Jesusaku from ep 1) it shouldn't have changed. That unless Nips like Mesiah level Gary Stu characters, if so expect Yusaku to be tied to Yusei.
Nathaniel Myers
I'm about to run into GX headfirst and I need genuine advice Subbed or dubbed
Christopher Hill
is there any chance ygo7 can reverse the trend of declining viewership and engagement? some of how arc-v got viewers attracted to it was word of mouth in the earlier cours i guess it'd be smarter in the end to just have 0 expectations, though
Asher Williams
How would you know? I don't think those tv ratings actually get released.
Nolan Garcia
Subbed
Josiah James
dubbed makes a good joke anime, but it cuts the ending.
Ian Wood
>cutting the ed is this a thing with the other dubs after gx?
Xavier Edwards
I'm disappointed we never got Gouki The God Ogre
Carter Evans
The Arc-Cradle arc is also never dubbed so the dub ends right after Yusei vs Aporia. They also cut out a few other episodes like Jack's duel for Red Nova Dragon as well as the Team Taiyoh duel
Logan James
they dont but engagement (mentions on social media + activity of fanart) has definitely been down
Colton Gonzalez
Only 5DS. That cuts off the last 20 or so episodes.
How do you judge these? Pixiv isn't accurate for fanart anymore because artists are moving to twitter. And vrains stuff has been twitter trending topics for multiple times. Either way it's hard to tell unless official sources who have an overall view on things outright disclose the numbers.
Brayden Garcia
>Dub Jaden lets his friends think he's dead while he goes on a trip around the world with a cat and a ghost He was a good friend.
I would say it was rushed. They seemed to be setting up a bigger threat than Eve/G.O.D., yet never elaborated on it. Didn't even suspect their Duel was the Final Boss one until we got Yuya vs Reiji right away, because my mind was already set of thinking as that unknown enemy being the True Final Boss.
Btw, Eve's Behelits when?
Ryder Torres
Ayu is such a cutie. I want to know what she looka like when she hits her teen age. I wish they had showed up in the manga as well (except for the fat kid, of course)
Noah Price
>Didn't even suspect their Duel was the Final Boss one until we got Yuya vs Reiji right away You couldn't tell when they introduced all the copy final boss monsters? The fight goes on works as the ending. Also if the final boss is called G.O.D., having the one behind that being a mystery forever makes sense.
Benjamin Reed
>humans are making a mess >vacuum cleaner wants to eliminate the mess what's not to get?
Jack Johnson
it's possible he's been hired by another writer for a non yugioh manga and they're in preproduction for that
So, will S3 deliver brand new characters or not? It seems like too late to add new characters and Pandor is surely getting deleted and never mentioned again very soon.
Anthony Morris
>and Pandor is surely getting deleted and never mentioned again very soon. Where are you even getting this? Plus have you been assuming that the main cast of characters would be replaced by another set like this is some unplanned junk series?
Angel Rodriguez
replacing main cast would be for the best

Makes me sad characters from Zexal and beyond don't have official birthdays. Huge missed opportunity for merch/promo imo.
>wins if he ends his turn because Yusei ran out of cards >is meticulous enough to know exactly which card is left face down >decides to attack instead because the duel really excited him Why did that Team Unicorn guy in 5D's lose on purpose? Going braindead is the opposite of respecting your opponent. The duel was great up until that point and completely unlike the last 40 episodes of filler. A shame it had to end that way.
Ending your turn and having the duel end in a deckout would be pretty fucking lame of an ending during a big tournament so he went for the cooler method
They are about the same size, though. You can tell by watching the commercials in which they promote the duel hour.
Evan Evans
That could just be for convenience. There would be no way to tell unless there was an actual crossover or if they gave that information. Yusei could be taller just because he's several years older.
Yusaku is only 2 years younger. Though I bet Yuya and Yuma became chads by their 16~18s telling by their fathers' looks whereas Yusei's father was less manly (probably because he was a scientist and not an Anthropologist or a Circus clown)
Brandon Carter
me, I like Jean's eyebrowless face
Jason Anderson
Tag force niggas, what makes Yusei blushin that date simulator?
Aaron Baker
Punished Aoi
Dylan Parker
A single example doesn't drag the whole experience down. 5Ds was great and a fun ride.
Jason Ross
more like ded aoi
Logan Lee
Something about this is incomparably erotic. Probably the same type of appeal as reverse NTR, those dead eyes really get me

Been playing YGO DDM on a gba emulatir lately and I couldn't avpid noticing all the characters are manga originals and they keep their manga personalities (like Otogi having an abusove father) I recognize most of them but pic related never showed up in the manga as far as I remember. Maybe he is a YGO zero original? I'd love to see more about him.
Read the manga then. I felt the same until I finally did and it's honestly criminal what they did to him in the anime. Him being introduced with the Monster World arc cemented him as both a threat and an antagonist early on, he actually goes with Yugi and co to Duelist Kingdom instead of just stumbling out of a random bush.
He's present for Yugi's DDM match against Otogi and because there's no filler arcs he's constantly around through Battle City and then we go straight to the last arc. Bakura is a great villain in the manga and definitely one of my favorite Yugioh characters thanks to that. What the anime did to him really was a crime.
12,000 meters is a little over standard commercial flight altitude. The slightest communication with someone that high is delicate and difficult, assuming you even have the means to do it. His claim is perfectly reasonable.
Lincoln Brooks
But he created a super EMP to make sure he could get them because they could have been anywhere when they were hiding. Why would the sky be a limit for them?
Michael Hughes
Why did he shave his eyebrows?
Parker Perez
I could imagine Bruno being like this as an antagonist when he has to do a ground duel instead.
it really was, but I don't think they would want to play out something something like that again. Having their armies literally be their monsters was rad as fuck but it doesn't seem something they would allow at the children's time slot again.
Carson Sanders
an omninegate
Josiah Murphy
Well that's a free one from being produced decades later and in a style that went out of its way to be an improvement on the other version.
Jason Rivera
Pandor a cute!
Jeremiah Anderson
Maybe if she had a more expressive face. Nice butt though.
>only together while both human This doesn't show anything.
Jeremiah Edwards
What do you mean "show" anything? Do you think that if Revolver fell for Pandor they'd have to show him sticking his dick in the electric socket?
Cooper Cook
I mean it only shows two humans which isn't strange in any way. She's using magic so she is full human.
Samuel Murphy
And she's a VR program and Revolver is a VR avatar for Ryoken Kogami.
Cooper Anderson
>if you draw this card from your draw phase you can use it to immediately summon a C10X xyz with its nonC version as its only xyz material Litterally asspull: the card. One xyz material is usually more than enough to turn the game around.
Because Kogami thought torturing children was the best way to produce true AI, leading to the first one being fucked in the head, leading to the deaths of all but one, causing him to come up with a plan that requires Akira's demise.
Bentley Reyes
Because destroying the key was too much for his vrain to think about.
Jonathan Parker
nothing wrong with having an omninegate UNGA
Jonathan Morgan
If he destroyed the key, he wouldn't be able to maintain control of the androids and vrains. Assuming it's even possible to destroy it.
I love this guy's design. I wish Yusaku's cards had any meaning to him but the story kinda explains he technically doesn't like the game and only uses it as a tool to get what he wants done.
Aaron Flores
By all accounts he should be future Yusei driven to ZETSUBOU but it turned out Z-ONE was just some guy who impersonated Yusei to inspire hope instead of relying on himself to spark hope in others.
Noah Campbell
We could only dream. If that was the case perhaps this franchise could come up with some original plots.
Do you know how inconsistent this card is? Draw it in a different way and you got a dead card in hand. Shark had balls to put it in his deck.
Mason Flores
I've just realized Aoi always "dies" before Akira, it would be interesting to see Aoi trying to save his brother and not the other way around
Robert Mitchell
Target 1 "Number 10X" monster in your Graveyard, on your side of the field, or in your Extra Deck (X is any number from 1 to 7); if that target is in your Graveyard or Extra Deck, Special Summon it, ignoring the Summoning conditions. Its effects are negated. Then, regardless, you can Xyz Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "C" Xyz Monster that is 1 Rank higher than that monster you control, by using it as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.)
It's not really the monster armies themselves, more like that they were incinerating or stomping on people and actually killing them that would raise the eyebrows of network censors
Bentley Kelly
it's not inconsistent anymore, like at all (thanks to lebarian dragon link combos). It's just that all the chaos xyz are anime all crazy situational bullshit (comet ceastus, archfiend seraph, ragna infinity), are winmoar at that point (batman, neo tachyon) or are just unreliable (giant hand red, horror masquerade) for how fucking important your draw phase ends up being. Oh yeah you also kinda need open link zones so even with a lebarian combo you still need to have a saryuja or whatever on field to do fuck all. When everything can combo out of 1-2 cards this is just small fry.
Carter Bailey
>he technically doesn't like the game He does though. Remember the flashback to when he first bumps into Shitvulva? Plus he still has duelling autism, just his own flavour >YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO CALL YOURSELF A DUELIST
>still whining about breast sizes 2 years in Will you lose your shit if the next main girl isn't well endowed either? Or are you an idiot who buys into roboppi memes?
