To be honest, there are many manga tropes that don't translate well to anime or live action, and the director needs to handle this carefully.

For example, there is a common trope where a character will open a door and then say "hey i forgot my scissors-" before noticing what's going on in the room and being surprised or shocked. And it works well in the manga, because the opening of the door and the speech bubble are part of the same frame, implying that these two things happen simultaenously. Pic related.

Of course, IRL, this is simply not possible. The two things cannot happen at the same time. You either start talking before the door is opened, but in this case you're a retard who starts talking before the door is even open and you don't know who's inside the room. Or you start talking after the door is opened, but you're a retard because you ignore what's going on inside.
