Yes visual errors are common in manga, mangaka have forced deadlines it's bound to happen, but at worst these are harmless visual mistakes that have no impact of the plot, and typically get fixed in the volume release.

All the Key "lies" from this chapter, are very clearly deliberate and have major plot implications. To pass them off as typical visual errors is to be intellectual dishonest or flat out stupid.

The lies start the moment Zeke falls onto Erens old titan carcass, as we've seen the WHTs abilties allowed her to access her old titans as weapons, the titan itself isn't even the base, and the powers can be used with or without titnization.

This is to imply Eren has some kind of access to his previously harden shell, and probably used it to trigger the FT's abilities and alter the memories of the eldians near by.

There's a large gash in Erens titan, it's seen twice, and is the focal point of the first page, every other time we've seen this harden titan it's fully entact.

To get across the walls we where shown the walldians use machines, so theres nothing to imply they simply made a hole.

The story is written from the perspective of the heroes whom have no way of knowing what the enemy can do until they do it, and so the story sets up themes of mystery "humanity vs the unknown", every encounter holds this ambiance to it, so you expect the unexpected every time.
Which is how they effectively avoid every having asspulls.

There is only ever an issue if a new power, contradicts an already established rules, since none of them do there is no issue in terms of the writing.

Next chapter Pieck fleas after she can't defeat Armin & Mikasa, we don't see anything for 3 chapters and she comes back with Annie.

Someone worked it out it would take Annie alone 5 hours to run from one end of Paradis walls to the another and she still probably doesn't have the energy for it, but Pieck could do it in about an hour.

1. Armin fell about 50 meters from the Colossal titans teeth, via they are about as tall as the wall. He then falls on a 3 story building shown to be about as tall or taller then Eren and reiners titans. So at worst he fell 35 meters.

2. Humans can walk off a fall of up to 17 meters, from up to 30 are certainly deadly, but not instantly. Which is the key here, there's no doubt that these things would kill him, but first he'd been in a coma for a few hours.

3. He didn't fall with no resistance, isayama drew his box cutters falling off and him letting go of the grips, but the made sure to show that the hooks remained inside Berts teeth until fully extended, showing them still leaving his waist band.

4. The image shows that they are incredibly long even having not reached their full length, based on the fact that they are still scrunched towards the end and not completely straight. Do to the angle of the shot they definitely aren't a full 50 meters long, but easily appear over 20.
That being said armin likely only free fell somewhere between 10 and 20 meters, which the average person can get up and walk away from.

6. The burns he received are second degree, which cannon't actually kill anyone, all this means is the epidermis is completely gone, a person feels intense pain but it's becoming suceitible to everything that kills you, not the burns
themselves. Only 3rd degree burns(the the bone) are deadly on their own, and given he was unconscious he likely can't even remember what it felt like.

All in all, In conjunction these things would definitely kill someone IF NOT TREATED. You'd be alive in in a coma for a wealth of time, you body just preforming it's involuntary necessary actions like breathing, for a while before you completely give out.

Even then he looked somewhat injured and there are soldiers vacating the house behind him.

Putting in character deaths and important story events in a chapter that didn't actually happen and doesn't really impact the story is the cheapest possible way to evoke a reaction from your readers. That would piss people off and just draw attention to the author's bullshit fakeout and not the actual story. And it sets a dangerous precedent where the reader can never be 100% sure that any events in the story actually happened in case the author decides to do that fakeout bullshit again. Eren has no knowledge as to how to use the mindwiping ability (he never tried it before), how can he use it in an effective way where he doesn't even need to face (Frieda always talked to the one she needed to memory wipe) the ones he want to memory wipe? Gabi would effectively be the only one he memory-wiped.

Frieda could have used the brainwipe ability to gain an advantage over Grisha before or during their battle.

Isn't it pretty out of character for Pieck to straight up tell Mikasa of all people it's the end for her and fight her? She's as far as we know the weakest Titan, but she always came across the smartest so maybe she has something up her sleeve.

It seems pretty odd they leave it right on her about to fight and Eren's head getting sent west.

She thought she finished off Zeke, thus bring their plans to activate the coordinate to an end. She was just telling Mikasa they already lost so it's useless to fight her.
