If that's the case then they would just run the other way, there's no logical reason to run up to zeke.
This in addition to the fact that there is no horse in sight for them to use.
Finally, it's gabi riding the horse, i don't know if you've been on one, but 3 people on a horse is mechanically impossible in terms of practicality.
