>does not want to interfer with magic world development >still end doing it
Jonathan Scott
Who cares about stuff like that? If I could choose what to bring when I get isekai'd I'd just bring my backlog
Oliver Campbell
Even if you know how it works, it's not that simple. Can't built a railway without hard enough steel for example. All the know how to produce the parts needed for any of these machines is pretty insane. If you actually want to end up with something useful.
Robert Evans
he revolutionized governance through the use of spreadsheets
Jonathan Richardson
Why try and do anything like that? His job is to live comfortably and knock his wife up.
Wyatt Powell
Could've brought some physics and math textbooks so the scholars willget started on experimentation within a few decades or so. But of course he's your average salaryman who's too dumb to teach those books much less bring them.
Nathan Howard
>caring about industrialization when all you have to do for the rest of your is make sweet love to the hottest woman alive Stop being a faggot, OP.
I'm not the OP. What I suggested was that he bring over rudimentary science textbooks to push whatever academic society they have into the right direction. It's implausible to have them make modern tech right away.
But as for airplanes, some basic physics experiments can demonstrate how a moving wing can generate lift, and maybe some basic gliders can be built after some experimentation.
And even assuming they can't, to not bring something like it when it so simple to do makes no sense. Even if there are later reasons to keep the information secret, not keeping the option is stupid.
Camden Ross
Huh, I only read a few volumes, when does it go harem?
Jeremiah Scott
If there are no proper economic incentives to utilize an innovation, it'll remain as a stupidly expensive and barely functional toy basically.
Colton Perry
Well he's a simpleton who can't see or appreciate the larger picture of how society progresses, it's why he's a mediocre salaryman.
Luke Peterson
perfect for royalty/nobility
what makes you think he'd assume the other world plays by the same rules of physics as ours? he already knew they had fucking magic (portal) I agree he's an idiot for not bringing an entire library's worth of ebooks and a rechargable reader, but come on
Colton Carter
Soon after pic related appeared. MC is forced by his wife to marry her for political reasons (technology exchange ) . MC not wanting to go harem route is literally the one thing he argued his wife with.
I dropped this months if not years ago but didn't he fill his laptop or some shit up with wikipedia articles before he made the jump, specifically so he could take advantage of that kind of knowledge?
Jeremiah Bennett
Why have a MC not want to go harem route in a setting where it makes perfect sense to do so?
Logan Adams
Dunno, I dropped it pretty quickly, but computers don't have the longevity of books due to mechanical complexity. Once its batteries or whatever's broke, anything not copied down is lost for good.
Tyler Murphy
have you read any light novels/web novels before? it's some fucking stupid jap thing where they're either insane rapists forcefully impregnating everything or complete failures who refuse to fuck anything
Jack Gomez
Just because it's expected doesn't mean it should stay that way. Maybe one day something will become popular in the right way to influence everything else and change the standards.
Anthony Thompson
i also dropped it, a bit further in but the royal family's bloodline magic time reversal, technically his stuff can be kept running like new forever as long as they have enough magic to spare for it
Oliver King
He can use time spell to turn back the computer's time to before it was broken.
Adrian Scott
Well he didn't know that at the start so it was still a dumb move for him to only bring a computer and no books. Sounds like he got saved by the plot handing him everything on a plate, which is pretty common in this media.
Dylan Flores
doubtful, almost all of it is the blandest possible self-insert shit targeting the kind of worthless people who obsess over LNs/WNs
iirc it takes him months of effort to do like a 5 minute rewind, wouldn't work in the long run
Evan Gonzalez
>Harem Dropped
Ian Walker
The only thing that really gets me about this is Aura's advisor CONSTANTLY tells her that she has to take more care and be less unyielding in her interactions with MC because if he finally has enough of her shit and flips out everything ends because they have no idea how to placate him. Yet she constantly breaks every promise she made to him when he came over without batting an eye. At least fucking DISCUSS it before selling your husband like he's a luxury item to another woman, fuck. And then she restricts him from associating with the one girl he probably WOULD have accepted eventually because they connected too well and she got fucking jealous.
Ethan Foster
Who was that other girl? His teacher?
Nathan Harris
It was the girl from that jewelcrafting kingdom he showed the marble and explained how to create a telescope to. Aura tried to sell it as he's too likely to give up secrets to the girl but it all came down to she was jealous of how close they got because they were both "normal" people without the aura of royalty.
Josiah Martinez
wait, she keeps doing that shit? goddammit I hope he does eventually decide to fuck off for a while and go explore or something so she panics
Cooper Turner
Dropped the LN after reading about how it becomes a full harem later on Shame on the author
Anthony Nguyen
This is not Victoria II user.
Alexander Gonzalez
Well this story isn't about kingdom builing but just exaggerated noble politics bs. If you want steampower and gun powder you should read "release that witch" and "tales of the reincarnated lord" Warning: one have a lame ending and the other doesn't even have one but they are still pretty good
Anthony Murphy
>Dropped the LN after reading about how it becomes a full harem later on After 12 volume now and MC still didn't fuck anyone beside his wife. The authour make a big mistake, he should let MC fuck the maids and make it a harem since the beginning or not one at all. Now many people that read his LN doesn't want another harem story but the more the story progress the more reasons MC have to take concubines.
Leo Gonzalez
>TORL fucking dropped by the author in the middle of the goddamn story is what that is everything before he becomes a sword saint is fine, but you're just setting yourself up for frustration if you read past there
Cameron Wright
you can download wikipedia onto a thumb drive, I would gather whatever information I could on dat laptop just to be prepared.
Gabriel Turner
>fucking dropped by the author in the middle of the goddamn story is what that is I would rather say its near the end of the story, his family is already the strongest and richest . There isn't nothing left for the story except the civil wars and mabe a conflict with the south/ his past lover. The authour doesn't have a choice thanks to chink censor BS.
Matthew Sullivan
all of that is worthless farming, survival skills, and water purification/harvestings/etc are far more important
Hunter Gutierrez
Does the MC get over his obsessive nature with keeping himself surrounded by modern technology?
Zachary Morris
nothing in that story was particularly different from a shitload of other chink cultivation novels I've read - the whole "canceled because censorship" thing smacks of BS to me, unless it's for something the author did outside of the novel itself what with the social credit faggotry
you're right though, it drops off in what would likely be the last third or so of the story
Joshua Wright
He gave them advanced level math. They're now on their way to nukes.
Jaxson Thompson
Well I think TORL was a little bit more special than other chink novels. MC participating in a orgy and fucking 2 sisters and their aunt was probaly to much for Winnie the Pooh. I can't understand those chinks at all, their own historie are more gory and full of incest and indecent tales nut they want to forbid us our steaks,
Easton Evans
MC from Castle of Black Iron literally spent a full weekend fucking an entire knight's organization of (virgin) schoolgirls in a massive orgy, several of which he impregnated. The entire scene was described with a fair amount of detail. There's incest and killing of family members and the country's leadership and all sorts of other fun stuff, yet that's still going strong.
Ethan Clark
this both he and aura thought he would be doing nothing but staying inside and making babies, of course he only brought leisurely things. I don't want to read 'I married a busty queen and now I solve the country's problems with wikipedia?!' there's a gorillion other stories where MCs crop rotate their way into blowing everyone's mind
Nolan Phillips
I want to spoon your useless fucking eyes with your sawed off fingers for spacing like a retard.
But you're not wrong. He could've brought at least wikipedia dump on his laptop. Then again he's confident that isekai magicians are dipshits and it's possible to teleport to Earth not just every 30 years.
