It's kinda hard to adapt a manga after it's already finished, user. The most we could hope for is maybe Dowman will work on a manga that get's adapted quickly, and then if that get's popular, then maybe the studio will do some of his older work like what Shaft did with Katte ni Kaizou. But that's a shot in the dark.

i don't think there are other people like dowman sayman in japan. there are very few artists who are able to achieve this kind of melancholic silliness of his: charlie kaufman, don hertzfeldt, and maybe chris ware (but this one is just straight depressing)
