As funny as the telephone gag was, it would have gotten old if it was there the whole series. If anything, we could have just gotten rid of Giorno and the rest of the team would have done just fine. Giorno is the only boring one.

Can you name a better shounen than this? The answer is no, you can't. The fight scenes are so much better than any other shounen fights. These fight scenes are written with brain and intelligence. They're very original fight scenes and don't follow a traditional fight scene formula in any way. Dragon Ball can go fuck itself. Also, the JoJo fanbase are some of the nicest and most intelligent people you will meet on the internet. We just want to have fun and share our fun little memes. I want to marry Araki, but that's muda for me unfortunately.

He at least has auditory hallucinations, since the voice he hears when the boss talks to him is not a real sound, and I'm pretty sure that making tuuurururu with his mouth and acting like if it's a real phone could also fall into this

We don't know jack shit about souls, they might as well not exist, and even if they do, medicine has no way to detect souls. For all we know, having more or less than one soul might cause those mental issues. Anyway, he uses a frog as a telephone and hears voices, so it's safe to say that he has some mental issues, even if they come from having two souls inside one body.

But even still, this is Jojo we are talking about so the explanation of "2 souls were born into a single body" is sufficient enough

The anime establishes him having two personalities from the beggining, showing the baby's eyes changing, but the manga is not really that clear about it.

Diavalo has a distinct look with his "male stripper" look as you called it. It is distinctive, recognizable and the colors work great.

Personally I think Diavolo shouldn't have had the fishnets, they look dumb and a muscular shirtless man with a bunch of tattoos screams Yakuza boss which is good for what he is

Then again it makes him more distinctive, but whether or not that's a good thing is entirely subjective
