From what I've read a lot of Citrus readers dislike Citrus Plus or think it's underwhelming.

- Yuzu and Mei's relationship progress starting over due to Mei wanting to do it right this time.

- More focus on side characters, so Yuzu and Mei sometimes aren't the focus of the stories.

- Short chapters that are episodic in nature.

- Strict calendar dates story which is just counting down until their high school graduation or their marriage that we already saw at the end of Citrus.

No one knows this currently. It's just covering their entire final year of high school. It's probably leading up to the wedding, but it's also focusing on side characters like Harumin and Matsuri, so the pace is slow and the chapters are usually short.

The author got burnt out and became lazy and now only does short slice of life chapters.

Even the synopsis for Citrus+ says its the story of Yuzu and Mei's happy times and the characters around them.

That's not good that bitch needs to push herself to avoid getting canned from YuriHime. Citrus and Yuru Yuri is the reason why YuriHime is the only yuri manga around.

Citrus+ is a spinoff. It's slice of life. She purposely ended Citrus prematurely so she can just do whatever stories she wants at a slower pace since it's technically a different manga now. As long as people buy it she has no reason to change anything, since the change in format for her convenience from the beginning.

Citrus+ so far:

- Starts around 2 weeks after Yuzu proposes to Mei on Udagawa's balcony.

- Yuzu and Mei are starting their relationship over in order to do it right this time.

- Mei literally tells Matsuri to stay out of things and that her relationship with Yuzu will progress slowly with the proper steps this time.

- Yuzu and Mei struggle even to hold hands.

- Either Matsuri is falling in love with Harumin and not realizing yet or Harumin is hinted to have feelings for Yuzu. Both are possible.

- Mei and Harumin talk and Harumin thinks she understands Mei's personality now, and as a result feels relieved over lingering issues that us the readers aren't told what were.

- Himeko shows up and says she'll support Yuzu/Mei. She now mimics Shirapon.

- Shou shows up to an important meeting and now Mei can just inherit the school without an arranged marriage.

- Yuzu tells the entire board that her and Mei are a couple.

- Latest chapter is a fragment of the final chapter of Citrus that when combined expands the scene on the couch when Mei finally tells Yuzu that she loves her although awkwardly.

Nice.

She ended it to end on vol 10 and to keep her word of finishing it soon.

We also have Mei questioning if she's right for Yuzu. Which combined with what we've seen of Harumin so far might cause Mei to become jealous of Harumin in the future. Harumin was able to cheer Yuzu up when Mei wasn't.

The Matsuri and Harumin subplot seems to be leading to some kind of reveal about Harumin, but I'm not sure what. Either that she likes Yuzu or had some other issues from before Citrus ever started.

Matsuri has her own issues. She basically stalked Harumin without seemingly realizing she was doing so.

Mei tells the board that they’re a couple. First thing that she did where she took the initiative. Don’t undermine that.

How is it finished? The story's still ongoing only now it's being told out of order due to us knowing the ending already.

No, she says there's someone she loves. She doesn't say who. It's Yuzu who does that and Mei gets embarrassed by it.

No she says “with the person she loves” “isn’t that right, Yuzu?”. Yuzu says that’s right, because we’re going to be married.

So far her arc seems pretty tied to Harumin.

Mei's talk about taking her relationship with Yuzu slow this time made Matsuri question the true meaning of love. So she asked Harumin "what is love?" to which we were never shown Harumin's answer.

At the same time this is happening. Matsuri wants to get to know Harumin better and wants Harumin to talk to her over issues she thinks Harumin's having. She assumes Harumin's acting weird, but it might just be Matsuri being too focused on Harumin and incorrectly thinking that it's Harumin who's acting differently rather than herself.

People are honestly confused where this is all going at the moment. Is Harumin in love with Yuzu or at least was? If not then what is Harumin's issue? Is there even any issue or was Matsuri reading too much into Harumin's behavior because her own budding attraction to Harumin has her looking at her constantly and noticing her more?

I really want to see Harumin's sister showing up wanting to marry glasses.
