So the point of NHK was that only qt girls can cure your mental illness?

Yes and then despair that it won't ever happen to you.
but he went out and got a job because he was starving to death, not because of her
The point is it's no one else's responsibility to take of you other than yourself. And self pity is never the correct answer.
>misaki won't come
Misaki is everything that you wish for, therefore impossible to obtain. And even if by any miracle misaki exist, she will never be your answer, you are your own answer.
>girl who manipulates you into trying to go through with suicide pact
Why won't it happen to me anons
no? literally the only thing that "cured" him was his money supply being cut off, if anything misaki was just a big distraction because nothing she did actually helped him at all
The point is that you should get a job
No, the point is that the NHK are actually a single tentacle of the greatest international criminal control syndicate ever known to man. There is no practical way to escape their reach, so you should just accept your subservient fate and acquire some imbecilic monkey job where you can go through the motions of "working" as easily as humanly possible in order to collect a pitiful paycheck so that you may finally be considered a functional member of a dysfunctionaly corrupt society.
(((NHK)))
If you think that, you missed the point entirely.
I got a qt3.14 social services appointed psychologist who talks to me almost every week and I'm still a total wreck lol.
Is it worth watching?I'm feeling pretty shitty right now so I'm wondering if watching it would make me feel better/worse
You might finally find the will to kill yourself.
it's worth a watch, great OP as well
youtube.com
The point was that broken people attract other broken people
Misaki is an awful person, why would you want someone like her in your life? Because she's Japanese?
It's worth watching. If you are an introvert and loner type you will definitely relate to it. You should feel better by the end of the anime but until then it will be a roller-coaster of feels.
I still remember the scene where Satou sees his possible future self prophesized by Yamazaki.
Fat
Failing health
Old
Slovenly
Video game addict
Unemployed
Living with your parents
How's your progress fulfilling that prophecy for yourself, user?
the point is we're almost all destined to suffer in eternal wagecuckery sooner or later and that you should enjoy NEETdom while you can
If anything it was the opposite, she didn't help at all.
How do people even turn fat, I'll never understand.
I was a NEET for a few years and at several points the anime hit so close to home that I struggled to continue watching the entire thing.
It wasn't the girl, it was lefting the neet to starve, no help from parents or other people
He had to go outside and seek work
No longer fat, slovenly, or failing health. Not old yet. Getting over video games. Still unemployed and living with the folks.
I'm nearly cured.
He would've became a NEET in his parents house if he hadn't met her
the reason why he didn't do anything was because all his needs were provided to him by his parents he didn't do anything because he didn't have to. when he got cut off he chose work over starving to death
only the mentally ill walk away from this with that answer.
Sato got a job but he isn't in anyway cured of his mental illness.
Imagine living in a country where your government doesn't care for it's citizens.
Misaki exists bros, just do it like me. I got a job, and got a cute coworker who went out with me. I ended up getting fired from the job, but who cares, I got a sweet girlfriend. Anything can happen if you just go out there and be yourselves
Alcohol.
Other than that I have no idea.
Misaki is in the mirror.
By eating too much.
I know it must be completely incomprehensible to you that there are people who live a different lifestyle than you. I heard there are even people who have sex. But yeah, some people eat more than you. Shocker!
How do people miss the point of the show this fucking badly. Two seconds of analysis would tell you that Misaki really didn't do much for him other than play housekeeper and that the point never was that a cute girl will save you from NEETdom. His friend helped him out more than Misaki did by a large margin, like she literally almost drove him to suicide and it took Yamazaki telling him the reality to calm him down.
>I took the ballpoint pen from her. I was troubled by it for a while. In the end nothing at all had been resolved. It wasn't as though anything had changed.
>"Let's look forward to life?" Are you an idiot? We have dream, so we're okay? We don't have any kind of dream!
>I wondered if I would have to go on living every day, whispering to myself, I can't take it anymore.
>Is that okay? What do you think?
>I worried back and forth about this for a little bit; in the end, though, I just signed the contract.
>Meanwhile, Misaki, shutting the contract back in her bag, grabbed my shoulders and pulled me close. Our eyes met at point-blank range.
>And then, in a loud voice, she declared, "Welcome to the N.H.K.!"
>Her overly enthusiastic expression struck a humorous chord.
>Fending off a fit of stifled laughter, I thought to myself, I don't know how long this can continue, but I'll try as hard as I can.
I don't think you can really say he's cured, he's still pretty much carrying all those issues with him with him in the end
By growing old you fucking underages.
With age metabolism slows down and if you're still your depressed loser self 25+ you won't be cutting calories and will grow fat.
It was a government job
A girl won't save you from drug abuse-induced schizophrenia/psychosis.
Funnily enough I got my first job the literal day after I finished the last episode of NHK. Weird how things work out like that.
What girl?
There’s nothing wrong with living with your parents. Lets see you afford a half a million for 3 bedrooms.
The point was "get a job" and that unemployment was the real problem as opposed to crippling social anxiety and/or agoraphobia
27 and I'm skellier than I've ever been.
Maybe you're not eating your depression then.
Any girl, or person for that matter. Satou, as the LN author (and me and many other anons), was most likely left to his own devices or neglected as a child, leaving him to develop ways of self-sustaining physically and emotionally, because not doing so means death. These early learned patterns obviously are difficult to get rid of later in early adulthood, and stick around as subconscious behavior that doesn't fit with that of more normal people (like loner traits, and overall warped views on self). A good example of this is the scene where he tries and step up to save Yamazaki from the bullies in order to impress his senpai. He completely fails to asses his capabilities against the odds in a sensible way, instead resorting to a fantasy. When emotionally neglected, children resort to fantasies in order to help themselves deal with negative feelings, like the pain caused by this same neglect and like I mentioned these tactics turn into easy-access mechanisms.
Which the lead to other mechanisms that feel familiar i.e. don't help you deal with the emotion directly but circumvent it, like substance abuse and other addictions.
>neglected
Or singlesmothered. Nothing good grows out of a boy with only female role models to learn from.
Qt girls and otaku friends
>Missing the message
No cute girl alone can cure your mental problems, but together, with a little bit of hard work, you might solve a little bit of it.
