The amazons and Bete are probably as close as we'll ever get to the idea of an "average level 6", but the founding members are all still pretty ridiculous. I don't think all his backed up high stats would make up for the level between them.

i actually want the author to start speeding up the levelling process for bell, ever since he introduced the rival aspect and the end goal of conquering the dungeon the idea of bell reaching level 6 and catching up to ais isn't good enough anymore
in addition to that, he needs to stop fucking around with SO and focus on the main series, this shit is genuinely going too slowly and him spreading himself too thin isn't helping

So I started watching this. Saw 6 episodes so far and I have 2 questions.

Firstly, why does Bell need to be so interested in that boring as shit blonde girl when he has not only Hestia but a bunch of other better girls thristy for him?

Secondly, why do people say the adaption is so bad? I noticed in every thread people shitting on it saying it somehow ruined the source material but it seems to be better quality than the average fantasy/isekai type show.

You have not read the source material .
When the LN was discussed here, we had decent threads that lasted around 300 posts; when Vol 3 came out, we had a lot of threads that hit bump limit.
The anime showed up, Hestia was so popular that it became popular to hate her since being a faggot is cool on twitter.

In a manner of speaking, for that very reason. Aiz is the unreachable peak to which Bell aspires. It also doesn't hurt that she saved him when he otherwise would have died.

Also, you're in for a treat with the next two episodes, particularly 8.

Who's most likely to win the Bell-bowl at this point?

I don't think that just ranking up will be enough to match strength of level 6 adventurers. Bell without a doubt will start as one of the strongest level 5s, but he will probably need to raise his stats to A+ to fight Bete and co. on equal terms. Also Finn, Gareth and Riveria, who are in upper ranks of level 6, will still be out of his reach.
However, once Bell gets to level 6, he will be able to steamroll anyone below level 7.

On the side note, Hestia has to get her shit together and recruit some level 4+ members, because her familia consists of one pretty-much-a-level-5-who-will-become-a-top-tier-level-5-once-his-goddess-stops-holding-him-back, a bunch of level 2s and one level 1. Expeditions that should be like a walk in the park for Bell would be absolutely deadly for the rest of his team.
