I was in the K-ON camp back then.
It really makes you think.
Makes me think about busting (in/on/around) some ghosts, yes.
10 years of Shaft being creatively bankrupt
>series that pushes the limits of the medium
>but it's popular and not sakuga 100% of the time so it's creatively bankrupt
>a literal powerpoint presentation dressed up as anime
>pushing the limits of the medium
nice fucking meme
its just a harem show, the supernatural stuff is barely touched on and is only used to get girls to surround him
Bakemono is a mediocre executed show that has huge highs. As a series overall it seriously isn't that impressive, but its impressive bits are seriously impressive.
Like everyone else is saying, its half the reason shaft is creatively bankrupt - when they were previously "the weird creative studio"

I feel conflicted.
In some ways I am really disappointed with Shaft, in some ways I still love them.
As far as Monogatri is concerned, it is in my top 10 series of all time, I love it. Not every installment is of equal quality but generally speaking I absolutely love it and I am happy so much has been adapted.
On the other hand, I miss old Shaft. Hidamari, SZS, Pani Poni, even through 2012 they made a lot of fun series. Since around then, though, everything they have adapted has been shit except Monogatari. Pretty frustrating.

Good old Monogatari haters. The one show you will see people accuse of being too different and creatively bankrupt at the same time. Probably just some shounenspic posting this too.
was this really necessary?
It was a pleb filter
does that mean snail is a loli of age now?
Yeah, now she's 31.
Yea Forums has taught me that it is too far up its own ass trying to be clever while also being too straight forward.
I like the one where it's pretentious hipstershit while also being otaku pandering fanservice.
I really want to rewatch all of monogatari but I just can't be fucked and have too much other shit to watch in any case. Maybe one day I'll get around to it.
At this point I can't even remember the story as a cohesive whole because of how long the wait between episodes has been and how long it is.
