I really like this guy, he also made the soundtrack for Noragami
He's always creative and trying out different styles in each of his work, can't say the same for hacks like Sawano who just shits out more of the same generic style he puts in every anime he works in, you could literally swap the AOT ost with Kill la Kill or Aldnoah Zero and it wouldn't make a difference, truly the Hans Zimmer of the anime industry

OST doesn't necessarily have to capture the feeling of a show to do it's job, Sawano's work is great even if it's repetitive.

OST pretty much creates the feeling of a show for people who are attuned to music. Sawano's style actually works well for SnK, but it's so distinctive it starts to feel out of place in different shows. It prevents creating a unique atmosphere, because it is already associated with a different one.

Hard disagree, Sawano did amazing on the SnK ost. Fits very well, and i think there is lot of uniqueness to it.

This is the greatest track ever composed for an anime. Everything about it is goosebumps inducing.
