Title: I love Reim.
In a distant future far far away, human beans have fought a vicious war against slime-like aliens, called Reims, who can turn humans into zombie-like creatures. They eventually made peace with the aliens after finding out they were actually intelligent and were just seeking new homes to settle down. They initiate a cultural exchange whereby the aliens take over the well-preserved corpses of dead criminals and hobos and live within society. The possessed corpses creep most people out. They look perfectly human, but they don't eat or sleep , and only need sunlight to survive.
Enters MC who is a middle school grill who dreams of making friends with aliens and espers. She however have no interest in Reims 'cause the Reims living around her all look too boringly human. Her substitute teacher is a Reim who took over the body of a dead fat lolicon otaku, which made her have an even worse opinion of corpse-Reims. Her bestie ,Soka , is also a grill; a genki bitch(slot) who flirts with everyone including boys.
One day MC decides to sneak into a no-go zone where a colony of Reims live in their original slime form, because she wants to see "real" aliens, and pulls Soka along. In the no-go zone she got into an accident and was quickly surrounded by curious Reims. Soka saves MC as she seems to be able to talk the Reims by touching them. Days later, Soka disappears from school, and MC decides to visit her home. She finds out from Soka's mama that Soka has been living like a NEET and refuses to leave her room. MC breaks into Soka's room through the power of friendship(or maybe yuri)! In a heart to heart convo,she finds out Soka is actually a corpse-Reim who disconnected from the alien hivemind after living as a human for too long. She supposedly possessed the body even before the war, 50 years ago. Her adoptive parents never knew about it.

Turns out the hotel is actually an experimental lab for corpse-Reims to test their control over the carnal limits of their bodies. Suddenly MC's eyes turn blue and her arm transforms into a slimy tentacle and whips the staff aside. Another tentacle comes out of her stomache and grabs Soka as she leaps out of the window.
PLOT TWEEST: MC is a descendant of ancient Reims who lived symbiotically with humans,to the point that Reim-controlled human bodies could reproduce like regular humans. Insert Battlestar Galactica ripoff plot here.
