Yes.

I don't really get it. What was the point of the story? Nothing was resolved, and even its main "living in someone else's shoes" theme was only used for comedic effect.

all I got from this is that mc is an adult who has low iq and can easily be bullied by children

I think its that people are nostalgic for what they think were easier times but that the easier times just had different problems than what you currently struggle with

The adult in this story is the type of person who is not happy anywhere. When she's working she wishes she were in school, when she's in school she wants to go back to her old life. She's not that smart so it's hard for her to complete tasks like others can which causes her unhappiness. In both school and work she finds personal relationships tiring. She (understandably) didn't want anything to do with the caste system from school and she has never gone to an afterwork party. Her little sister was able to do well in both so she's part of the majority of the population and will be successful. The main character will always be seen as a failure by others.
If you want to take anything away from this I see it as "if the reader finds themselves wishing they were somewhere else then they will probably be unhappy there too. You have to try and fix your own flaws and get a better attitude if you want to alleviate your unhappiness."

Because they still think she's her younger sister. Just by overhearing them in the bathroom gave her enough anxiety to want to go back in her old body.
