So Sevens author is also doing a space Isekai, but from the looks of it, it's more a comedy than anything else. Guy wants to be an evil lord, but doesn't really seem to understand what being evil is.

I remember spoilers about them actually spying on the slave owners the whole time so they're a race that looks like Uncle Toms but are actually acting like actual slaves did and pretending to be one so that they can best trick their masters.

Not really. it's pretty basic. The only thing more basic is pretending not to know how to read/spell because the slave owners are too dumb to consider that the slaves might LEARN.

I'd say Sevens was at least 40% comedy.

I'd say this one is like 80% comedy. MC hires a martial artist master. Turns out he's a con artist who knows a bunch of party tricks. MC somehow learns something from it and replicates the party trick as a real move. Basically a lot of turning around a bad situation into an amazing one.

I'd say the MC is entertaining enough. He has that revenge mc mindset, but is how you would say, not very good at being a villain or understanding how to be evil. On the other hand, he's pretty damn trigger happy.
