By the 4th episode nobody will still be watching this bland shonenshit anymore, which will also be the moment when it turns into a slideshow.

I feel like it will be a time flop but who knows what the reception will be. The animation is a lot better than most of the stuff out right now and its one of the 3 shows that isnt isekai so it will do alight this season.

What the fuck went so horribly wrong with Ookubo? It feels like at one point (around the end of Book of Eibon arc) the quality of Soul Eater went to complete shit, Not! was a piece of complete garbage that had no reason to exist and Fire Force was awful since the first chapter.

This is pretty good. It has the unique, sometimes meta style that Soul Eater had

I think the final battle in SE was good desu. Too bad about the lackluster ending.

I think the only plotline that didn't go into complete shit and had a satisfying finale was Marie and Stein vs Justin, especially since Marie and Stein's relationships actually led somewhere.

Black Star and DtK also had satisfying arcs imo. Maka and Soul's last transformation is also nice but the Maka and Crona thing feels unresolved since they just left her on the moon.

Part 6 was always 2021 at the earliest, if you look at the air date of each part there is always a 2 year gap.

So if it is actually 54 episodes I guess the anime would run to the Underground arc?

SE went to shit plot-wise because he accidentally created a god of a final boss and none of the main characters could hope to do anything to him. The anime realized this problem and tried to end it with a symbolic punch, while the manga somehow sealed him and the moon in black blood. Was the moon always an object you could literally float to? Or was it made that way expressly for that ending because Ookubo was in desperate need for a resolution? Who knows.

They don’t need to become the manga is pretty shitty just like the fairy tail manga

So once again Captain Tsubasa will never get past the school days I see.

I feel like Fire Force was really bad in the beginning but picked up around the time of the first Nether visit. It has a lot more "stylishness" right now, like the early Soul Eater manga.

The beginning was 100% painful though, I don't blame anybody for having dropped it.

The premise of a magical firefighter brigade sounds fun on paper...but what is up with those boring-ass designs, recolor Maka and Soul? Loli nuns? really? Soul Eater had a really unique artstyle and vibe, this just looks like generic shonen shit.

The anime might fix some of the problems early on in the manga that it had. Helps that the anime has a good staff behind it. Hopefully it doesn't pull another David Pro by deciding to stay too truthful to the source.
