Why is she showing her slutty pit?

Didn't Kazuo Koike claim to have invented the term?

She perfected and popularized it, desu.

I blame Naru for abusive ones

The Peanuts cartoonist.

Actually no. Gainax' work right before this was more tsunderelevant, but it's far from the first, too.

Tsundere=/=bitch

she's more tsuntsun because she doesn't show affection to Shinji (that older guy she ejaculates for doesn't count)

I want to sniff and kiss it

Akane Tendo is the earliest, really popular example I can think of. But I'm no anime historian.

I think the concept of a tsundere is actually older then anime itself thus the word.

Usagi-chan from sailor senshi

>Tsundere From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
>Originally found in Japanese bishōjo games

but someone conceptualized it in a form as we know today

Probably the ancient Sumerians.

Wasn't it Nagai? Anyways Madoka's character was pretty popular back in the 80's because of her tsundere attitude and looks.

oh no! watch out, it's the wikipedia researcher!

The chick who wrote Pride and Prejudice?

Shakespeare

this is the right answer. tsundere was a common trope in Shakespeare. Beatrice in "Much Ado about Nothing" and Katherina in "Taming of the Shrew" are pretty canonical examples of tsundere.

jesus christ, learn some fucking theory and do not call this tsundere because "tsundere" applies to a specific time period and cultural context

>"tsundere" applies to a specific time period and cultural context
Not him but I haven't heard that anywhere.

Earliest tsundere I can remember was C'Nedra from the Belgariad novel series in the early-mid 80's

Katherina doesn't move from tsun to dere as she leans about Petruchio.
Instead, he abuses her until she's broken and obedient.

you should try reading it instead of watching film adaptations.

Plays are meant to be performed, not read.

most likely Urusai Yatsura

Rumiko

that's why you can't call some random shit today "dadaist" or some harlequin novels "romantic"

Gilgamesh was the wisest king

Lum's not a tsundere though
Tsundere is rather MC's fiancee

Every woman in exsitence is a tsundere, so I say God.

Shakugan no Shana invented the generic one we see today.

Frigid women.

Shana was a classic tsundere, most of her clones were modern tsundere.

Tsunderes are eternal.

Anno invented literally nothing.

Then the right question would be "what is first piece of art or art critique to use the literal word "tsundere"".

I answered that already.
