About covers my thoughts, I don't mind either character winning as long as it's executed well, I'm not Miko's biggest fan but the hatedom she picked up is a little unfortunate.

The love triangle is clearly necessary for both Ishigami and Miko to develop. They both need a motivation to grow up and become better persons, and Ishigami has it by trying to appeal to Tsubame, while Miko gets some sort of competition that may push her to want to change. And they both need the love triangle as a trigger to bring them closer because their relationship would be very static otherwise.

I think that's the point. Miko is being a selfish brat, and being annoying, while her low self esteem makes her think everyone just finds her troublesome and doesn't like her, is something that's gonna get worked on.

Some Mikofags are indeed fairly defensive, but they're also not wrong in saying she has done a lot to justify not blindly hating her. She likes to cover for Ishigami for example, which if it was anyone else from the moral committee would probably just confiscate his stuff indefinitely. She still needs to work on her attitude for sure though.
