Finished reading it last night. It's my favorite part so far. Dolomiti's Blue Lagoon was pretty boring I feel bad for whoever was reading it when it was being released.

Although the direction of the plot is all over the place, I like it.It’s more coherent and with less bullshit than the other parts, also the characters are written with greater depth than before.

I must say that Gappy is quite the happy cuck.

This is mostly how I feel.
Jojolion started strong with new and interesting concepts, and making it more of a mystery series was a nice change of pace, but it's just kind of meandered for years now. Even when older characters/plot points are brought back, it doesn't feel satisfying because it's been so long since those characters were seen that I just don't recognize them at first.
A lot of things that happened feel like they're just padding runtime. They're obviously there to develop characters and set up future events, but it just feels like they went on for so long with so little payoff that they're just wasted space.
It's also been running for over 8 years now and I can't see it ending in less than 2 more at the absolute minimum, which adds to my discontentment with the series.

This is shitty advice, i really can't understand the mindset of people that are fans of jojo and are willing to wait an actual decade before reading any new jojo.

People only say and thi k this becuase its a mounthly manga that has gone to a few hiatus already. I hate this complaint so much. 20 chapters or so ist to much but when you are waiting for it to come out its a year. Same thing happened to part 7 and now people love it and the same thing happened to part 8. This feeling arose around tbe time blue lagoon happened and yes this figjt kinda sucked waiting for it mounthly but if you read it now its not the worst. Same with brain waves and the poor tom fight was fun espcially the scenes we get with Jobin and his son. Its all coming together now for the new fruit.

I always open thinking it's fat Okuyasu and Josuke.

I love it. The early chapters had me on the edge of my seat a lot. Some complain that they don't like the shift in tone from mystery to saving Holly but I especially like that aspect of Jojolion. The objective changed throughout the story as the characters changed as well (Josuke learning about his identity) better than one simply objective throughout the story

The last chapters, though different from the first, are great since I can't predict shit. Might become the most unpredicted ending of Jojo so far.
