In my limited experience there seem to be some positive correlation between the quality of a manga and how the prone author is to putting it on hiatus.

The art is good and gets god tier later on but it's fun from day one. If you're used to modern stories you might Dark Schneider pretty entertaining as he's a really bombasting MC, fucking bitched left and right and all. If you're into metal you will get a kick out of all the name dropping.
