I just finished the anime and want to pick up the manga. Until what point was the adaptation the most faithful? I realized they went anime original for the ending and now I don't know if I should start with chapter 1 or where it veered off.

I read Magical Girl of the End by the same author. Is this one better or worse? The End got too super convoluted with a ton of characters so it wasn't really enjoyable anymore.

I got the same point of the manga as the anime, some XDD so edgy moments and that's about it, nice premise.
Someone borrowed me the manga, but i wouldn't pay for the next chapter if that's your question.

MS Site is more entertaining but also gets too many characters. I think they were trying to make a pure tragedy and it went hilariously wrong

He didnt die, arisu saved him. In this manga you cant be sure of anyones death until you clearly see it on a panel.

I'm reading this and I love it. What a great ride, it passed right through the stupid crazy singularity and came out on the stupid crazy awesome other side. Not that it's going to make me go back to End ever but it's been hilarious anyway.

Better. It's not convoluted overall, the main arc is a lot more continuous. It helps that the only "time" stuff is kept intentionally very minimal and in the end done away with entirely, which is a huge source of bullshit in End. I'm not sure I even agree with the other user that it "had too many characters", I mean yeah you see quite a few but mostly throwaway side ones and that's quite obvious. The main cast is pretty consistent and easy to keep track of, particularly in the finale.

I never got around to watching the anime though so I don't know anything about that.
