Why does no one ever talk about Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle?
Why does no one ever talk about Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle?
Is a snore fest that should have focused more in the fags than in Sakura and Shaoran boring drama.
It reached its peak during Shaoran vs clone fight.
best clamp work
Because it came out at a time when a new generation of the shonen readerbase in the West got involved en masse in "big three"-type battle shonen instead of latching to whatever was available on TV and VHS like was the case until the early 00s. Fantasy isekai, which is now all the rage, didn't use to be a huge draw-in factor per se.
Also T:RS is basically CLAMP's magnum opus that tries to link their every series together in an overly detailed tapestry that goes on for too long.
Because it was fucking garbage. CCS is one of my all time favs and i generally enjoy pretty much all of their work but that was just such a clusterfuck it was unbearable.
As said, it is the very definition of a clusterfuck.
Because we aren't thirteen-year-olds in the mid-00s. Nobody really talks about anything CLAMP anymore except for CCS.
It was pretty popular at the time, though.
It's a very ambitious concept with cool music but I never got into it cause it was too shojo.
I mean hats off to it though, it's probably the most fully realized mainstream cross-over franchise
I loved this shit as a kid but it became an incomprehensible clusterfuck at the end that even CLAMP admitted to not knowing what the hell was going on.
Isn't the manga better?
Dunno I never got into Clamp outside of Geass. I only know about Tsubasa because that one song, "Break the Sword of Justice" is pretty tight
xxxholic was better
The anime is apparently shit. I read the manga and thought it was cool.
I agree.
I swear this is made so the mangaka can dress her characters up in different costumes every few chapters.
Glad I am not the only one who love the music.
Because it is gay shit that uses my precious childhood memories to create some edgy and convoluted story
The manga is ok at first, but ends up becoming a massive clusterfuck that almost reaches Kingdom Hearts levels of contrived bullshit
Because it's not worth talking about.
Because it's absolute shit
Teenage Sakura is an absolute 10/10.
I really enjoyed it before it went to total clusterfuck in acid Tokyo.
