I dropped it after Kaneki turned into a giant tentacles monster.

After that it's just exposition dump really about how ghouls + ccg will have to work together to defeat that monster. And then for the last 10 chapters you get a few rushed final fights to close things up, it's not surprisingly one of the worse arcs in the series because at that point, Ishida had already long given up on the series because of his health conditions. But find out for yourself, there are only 30 chapters or so you have to read
