Non Non Biyori

Will the girls get older? I hope not.

same

They are stuck in a time loop

To be fair, in Koma-chan's case you won't know if time is standing still or not

Aging them up one year would be nice.

Hotaru can be aged to 16 or 17 so that her boobs reach their max size while the others stay the same.

shitsureina

These girls are my wonderwall.

I'm gonna say it

This. I want to see how much my daughterus have grown up after two seasons of repeating the same year. S2 being another iteration of S1 was nice, but also frustrating in a way.

I want to see S3 open with Natsumi writing a letter to Aoi about how everyone's doing; maybe have her narrate it over scenes of her walking through the local scenery to post it in a letterbox.
That way we at least get some sense of progression (as well as showing that she and Aoi are keeping in touch), and shouldn't need an entire episode dedicated to reintroducing the setting again.

It'll be be 10 years in the future but they'll stay the same size.

Koma chan certainly will.

their brother is so lucky

Yeah, I'd love to see some progression, though not too much. I don't want to feel sad about the passage of time (apart from the occasional sad Renge episodes). Natsumi writing a letter to Aoi would be nice and subtle continuity from the movie without having to include Aoi in their lives (since she's not canon from what I heard).

I only just watched this show and I regret not doing so earlier

Same here. I started S1 feeling it's relaxing but a bit slow for my liking. I ended with watching S1, S2 and the movie twice within a month. There are no words to describe this series but "masterpiece". I'm not an iyashikei guy so I expected a simple SoL with some comedy, but what I got was the entirety of the emotion spectrum, ranging from laughter to tears, from longing to dreading, from feeling young to feeling old, from carefree to thinking about life and death. I'm glad to have been able to experience this show.

I wish I had joined the discussion back when the threads were active. I'd love to discuss this show but the threads tend to die early nowadays. At least I'll be able to participate in S3 threads.

I don't think they can pull the same year stunt again, after having a film chronologically after both seasons events.

I still remember how confused I was at season 2 episode 1, it was only when you saw Hotaru moving in that I got it.

It would have to be a sequel, but if there's a season 4 they'll probably pull the same stunt.

Yes

That's a big shell.

You guys think there's schools in Japan like non non biyori? I feel like that's kinda sad desu.

Attached: 1561894636330.gif (422x409, 1.89M)

There are some, yes. The reality is that given the travel time they would have to move to a larger area, which obviously not everyone can easily afford. The other option is a boarding school, but not everyone is comfortable with or can afford that either.

So they're stuck in a limbo. The series kind of acknowledges the problem with Hikage going to school in Tokyo.

Good for you user, it's one of my favourite shows of all time. First fifteen rewatches are the best, enjoy yourself

Best girl

>benefit of the discipline and education of a school without the degeneracy and nonsense that arises with a few hundred kids
>no normalfag cliques or bullying or anything, spending all day with friends you've known since birth and family in comfy healthy countryside
Sounds perfect to me. If I have kids I'd aim for that or else I'd homeschool them myself, I'd never trust a normal school with my children

Thanks, I will. I love how each season is a complete one-year cycle that starts and ends at the time of the year and slowly adds to the story while still being a self-contained story. It really adds to the rewatchability of the show. I wonder if the chronological order is worth a watch though.

This desu. I see no problem with it.
