Based Hello Kitty.
What's the third?
Are you that autistic saberfag spammer?
How the fuck did Fate become so lucrative?
post link
I wonder if Hello Kitty exists in the same universe as Aggretsuko, and she's a perpetually tired wageslave now.
What in the HELL is doctor who doing on this list? Its nowhere near that profitable
Sorry third Rank is Harry Porter
doctor who anime when
I really doubt Fate is in the top 10.
they've been milking it for the past 10000 years
I really doubt Doctor Who is that profitable
>fgo
>fate extra
>the 3 fate route
>probably some gambling card fate game exists
I believe it
Only FGO applies, I doubt many people give a shit about the VN and Extraverse in this current age.
For values of '10000 years' equal to 'since the 60s'. That's a fair amount of time, but plenty of other superprofitable franchises have been around comparably long, and for most of its history it had only nominal profitability outside of the UK (and because BBC, even in the UK the profitability isn't really in line with its popularity)
it still counts as part of the franchise
That's because OP's list is incorrect
The true top 10 is
>1. Pokémon - $90b
>2. Hello Kitty - $80b
>3. Winnie the Pooh - $75b
>4. Mickey Mouse - $70b
>5. Star Wars - $65b
>6. Anpanman - $60b
>7. Disney Princess - $44.7b
>8. Mario - $36b
>9. Shonen Jump - $34b
>10. Marvel Cinematic Universe - $32b
Gambling addicts.
Yeah, per wiki that's certainly true. Now OP appears to be grouping some things differently (DBZ standing along, rather than lumped in with Shounen Jump etc) but even taking that into account its nonsensical.
Profitability does not directly correlate to how much tumblr likes it folks
>Pokemon bigger than Marvel
Huh?
>Shonen Jump
I knew it was big, but I didn't realize it was that big.
Tell me how i know you're 15
>a franchise older than MCU is bigger than MCU
What's weird with that?
Both Disney Princesses and Shonen Jump are a collection of a bunch of different IPs that don't have any connection at all and shouldn't really count.
Nigger how can you not know that Pokemon is the most profitable thing in existence? I mean comics only became mainstream in the last decade before that it was just what those creepy nerds read in their basements.
zoomer spotted
I thought people hate Pokemon now because of the National Dex thing?
Then the adjusted list would be
>1. Pokémon - $90b
>2. Hello Kitty - $80b
>3. Winnie the Pooh - $75b
>4. Mickey Mouse - $70b
>5. Star Wars - $65b
>6. Anpanman - $60b
>7. Mario - $36b
>8. Marvel Cinematic Universe - $32b
>9. Harry Potter - $31b
>10. Spider-Man - $27b
Keep in mind that MCU refers to the marvel movies produced by Marvel Studios, not the entire Marvel franchise
Yes, and?
Only the biggest aspies in the world care about bringing in pokemon they have been using for 10+ years.
Im not buying the new game because I just dont care about pokemon in general but Id wager 99% of the people just capture random shit, beat the E4, then stop playing.
Shouldn't you be in summer school you colossal retard?
Ok I'll bite what's this national Dex thing?
It was always a fairly high quality series and FGO happened to be in the tight place at the tight time to hit mass appeal.
>ITT: big means profitable
Stupid. There are better ways to meter success than just profitability.
Gacha is truly bad civilization.
Much harder ways to asses, but sure. OPs list Even More Wrong then though
Basically it is the list of all the existing pokemon. Gamefreak removed it in pokemon Sword & Shield, making it impossible to get all the pokemon in these games.
Tl;dr
>pokémon games have both a regional dex (pokémon that can naturally be caught in the game) and a national dex (all pokémon from the regional dex + pokémon that can't be found normally in the game that have to be transferred from other games) which is a list that tracks every unique pokémon species you've caught
>every pokémon game since the GBA games let you transfer your pokémon to the next generation so you can complete the national pokédex of the new game
>newest pokémon game doesn't have a national dex, meaning you can only catch pokémon from the new games and can only transfer old pokémon if they appear in the regional dex
It other words they were too lazy to animate all of them.

Fate has not precure to make money
What about pic related? It's 15th on the list making 24 billion.
Stan Lee ?
Jump sure but Disney Princesses are a brand and a continuously produced commodity worth categorizing as one whole. It's no different than Pokemon's generations.

Street Fighter $11.5 billion
Warcraft $11.1 billion

Winnie the Pooh $75 billion
Disney Princess $44.7 billion
Barbie $24 billion
Toy Story $20 billion
Frozen $11.3 billion
Shrek $5.74 billion
Yep. Some fags on /vp/ say this is because gamefreak uses separate models for dynamaxing (a new gimmick that makes pokemon become giant), causing them to run out of space in the cartridge to store all the pokemon.
Webm related is an example of the dinamaxing thing.
>animate
Here's the thing though, all the pokémon in the new game use the same recycled animations from the 3DS games
On top of that, the models are the same as the ones from the 3DS games
It would have taken zero effort to make a national dex and just include every pokémon
This isnt Yea Forums related
Troll topic
New generations add new attacks, new attacks call for new animations, not necessarily easily retrofitted on all existing pokemon
I'd like to think I'm stating the obvious here but given how many people that don't get that (You) I guess not
Fate is seriously overestimated
what am I looking at?
All pokemon just have like 3 basic attack animations that is used for all moves, all that needs to be done is assign which of the 3.
With Pokemon dying, it only makes sense for Fate to take over as the new "catch 'em all" game.
Isekaiverse gonna make that list soon
Is that why they're making a gacha?
Fat lot of good that'll do when people will just as well bitch about which of the 3 like they do with the kick animations that have been posted around.
There is no winning with you people.
I think the list is per year. I know that Hello Kitty makes a whopping 5 billion a year. even when not including bootlegs
>Disney owns 5 of the top 10
Interesting
whales and idiots
Hello Kitty? Seriously?? No way, like
how the fuck, it's not THAT everywhere
and they still won't improve the games
Why shouldn't they count? It's a brand.
Anime ja nai
I feel bad for fatefags because they have to put up with rich autists who fund fgo.
Not him but it's the most lucrative franchise in existence. They can afford to animate every pokemon.
>Biggest franchise of all time
>Games are still barebones crap
It's the Disney princess stuff where they're lumped together for merchandise, not just bundling things related to their individual movies into a single category (I'm pretty sure half those IPs are public domain anyway so long as they don't depict them exactly the same)
How the fuck is Hello Kitty so big?
The $5 pencil cases, $10 pillows and $1000 charm bracelets add up my man. The owner of the company literally tries to compete with gucci and louis vuitton
Because its not just hellow Kitty, most of those emoji things that people use on social media are from the Hello Kitty universe.
The first time I saw this list like 4 years ago Hello Kitty was behind Star Wars
>Fate at 10
A literal western cartoon from 2005 is nearly twice as relevant as Fate
It's actually at like 90 but who expects gooks to be right?
I am unironically proud of fgo. Super sure is overrated.
Hell, fucking Big Bang Theory is more relevant than Fate by a few hundred millions in gross.
>gooks
Yikes stay in your incel containment board please.
Gacha.
I haven't seen a hello kitty sticker in years
>Babby can't even handle a little racism.
