But man it kind of makes me wish Yea Forums draws would try for something as highly produced as this. I know the two are different and the meme redraws are good but I want to see our drawfags do something polished too.
all it takes is an organized base of operations outside Yea Forums and a hefty dose of autism
there was actually a good amount of gems in the soramimi cake one but the bar is pretty low and organizing it over threads is difficult because it basically amounts to "hey it's OP, claim some frames and if I hear nothing for a week or two I'll open it up again." people disappear all the time and you need threads pretty often which annoys some people. it's a big undertaking because literally nobody has a good idea of what's going on until it's almost finished
Every track okea makes has a producer spending time to carefully polish every single instrument, it's really not doable for something like Yea Forums draws because the amount of work is too huge.

I think it'd be doable if we had some top drawfags responsible for key animation in individual cuts and then have the other drawfags do the slavelabor tweening. It'd definitely need more organization than it does now if they decide to shoot for something more polished
It would also help to just take more time on it. Oke/a/ is generally able to get shit done because we only have 1 deadline a year (6/30) so things just kind of churn out at their own pace.

Basically one guy who knows their way around music writes up an arragenement based on the instruments we have and put it up on the website with open parts, people with said instruments record their part, then upload it, when every part is recorded another person (might or might not be the arranger since these have very different workflows) mix them all together and the finished track is put on youtube.
Once a year, we get all the tracks we have together and have them mastered into a complete album.
