Is name of "Ritsu" (K-ON!) easy to pronounce in your country?

Ah, I see. I thought as much, but wanted to make sure.
As I said before, some people might mispronounce it as "Hitsu" because that's how her name would be pronounced if it were a word in my language. But if they watch anime they will probably pronounce it correctly the first time.
I think her name is quite straightforward for speakers of Romance languages (minus French and Brazilian Portuguese), and also Balto-Slavic ones.

I don't think it's an issue of being difficult to pronounce, but rather being unaware that it's pronounced "ri-tsu" and not "rit-su".

Every syllabe would be the same save for the "Ri", since the R isn't pronounced the same way in French.
But it still sounds so close that there's no way anyone would have trouble or trouble understanding.

some languages don't use certain sounds so it makes sense to have trouble with them, or think around them. like korean doesn't have an "f." english and spanish don't have tsu, and really the only exposure is through the word tsunami which is loaned. it isn't "natural" for other language speakers

Different user here, but I think almost any English-speaker that doesn't know Japanese pronunciations would pronounce Ritsu as "Rit-su" or "Ritz-oo". There is no "tsu" sound in English except maybe for a handful of foreign words that were just copied, and a lot of people tend to butcher the pronunciation of foreign loan words anyway.

Maybe people that are already bilingual might do better. I never get exposure to bilingual people where I live, so I dunno.

Here in Ohio I usually hear people pronounce tsunami as just "su-nami" and treat the "t" as a completely silent letter, so even the exposure to that well-known word doesn't necessarily mean that people understand how the "tsu" sound is supposed to be pronounced.

In a similar vein, there's a Japanese restaurant named Sakura near my office and all of my co-workers pronounce it "sa-kurr-a". Sakura isn't even a hard word, it's just that they don't know where to break the syllables and are now too used to hearing it pronounced "sa-kurr-a" to change.

Funny story: I use "Ritz" a lot in passwords and various things because I love Ritsu. My dad once took notice of it and assumed I just really loved Ritz crackers. The day after he noticed, he went to the store and got Ritz as a way of showing his affection. Bless his heart, I don't think I'm ever going to tell him.

Yes. It is as easy to read/pronounce as any normal word. Russian ‘R’ sound differs from the Japanese ‘R’, though. Same should stay true for the majority of slavic languages, I suppose.

Sure it does. In English, consonant-vowel-consonant syllables are at least as prevalent as consonant-vowel ones. Look at common one-syllable words like man, dog, cat, fish, rock, set, big. Or for something closer to the topic, rib, rick, rid, rig, rim, rip, risk.
Since "ts" is not a consonant sound you see in English, "ri - tsu" might not even register as an option in many peoples' minds, with "rit - su" seeming like the natural pronunciation.

[ˈʁiːt͡suː] is the one used in the German dub, if I remember correctly, but [ˈʁɪt͡suː] seems to be quite popular with fans here as well.
