This is Jerome Clover, introduced back in volume 7 as the president of the Rietveld Foundation, scientist extraordinaire. I might as well talk about some spoilers from volume 6 since events have begun to bring them back into the frontlines
Pic related is Lacey La-Moore and Brad La-Moore, who were over 300 years old in the present time. The direct ancestors of Almeida in the present day.
Lacey went out to sea a long time ago to find a way to revive her dead daughter, and got into lycanthropes (even pretty much created a race of them from scratch that show up in volume 9), forbidden knowledge, alchemy and became fucking insane and powerful.
On confrontation with the party of the 3 Dukes and their kids + Rose and Kufa, Lacey uses her undead power clairvoyance and says:
"What a bunch of ill mannered kids, really!"

Most of it I won't talk about because beyond imagination spoilers
In not so many words and not big spoilers, her superior Glena is a decent woman and willing to stand up for her.
Her coworkers in the Crest Legion are all a bunch of retards and jerks.
Fergus, her commander, is not well liked by any of the nobles, respected and feared yes but not liked. And he has a huge reputation problem right now thanks to volumes 8 and 9.
Her new commander as of volume 10, Schneiden, is a big believer in pure blooded theory (samurai + samurai = GOOD, paladin + commoner = BAD) and Rose is in a bad position because both her parents were commoners.
She is bad at investigations.
She has become quite hot blooded when it comes to protecting her students.
