Why does the Dragon Ball fanbase want blatant fanservice like reviving popular characters or bringing movie characters to canon?
I understanding wanting to revive Raditz because he gets immediately killed off while being the protagonist's brother, but characters like Cell, Bardock and Future Gohan had their arcs completed with pretty impactful deaths that drove the story forward. Bringing them back to life would mostly ruin any past meaningful moment they had just like they did with Freeza.
