Hey ho, looks like it's time for another chapter dump; this time Chapter 26 (for discussion purposes, naturally). Also, with it being the end of Volume 3 there's a few bonus pages along with an entire minichapter. Corresponds to the end of Episode 16 (but I don't need to tell you that). Also in the coming days, due to the nature of the Sports Fest arc splitting single fights over 2-3 chapters, expect a few more double chapter dumps in the coming dumps.

I'm really curious as to these finishes. Some of these people have quirks you know helped them; but for others, was it just guts and physical abilities, or did they use their quirks in innovative ways?
27 - Jerk. 34 - Smile, little mushroom! 38 - From the quirk test we knew Toru was in good shape. This confirms it. 41 - Mei looks like she's been through the ringer. I would have thought her boots would have enabled her to float over the minefield and come in sooner, but apparently she had a rough time of it. And yet, she made it.

The sequence of panels in these pages make it look like Todoroki and Bakugo fell far enough behind to be after Tsugi and Shogi somehow yet they still came in 2nd and 3rd?

Most of 1B was deliberately holding back; I think the strangest placements were Awase (ahead of Shouji, despite having a contexually useless quirk) and Mei )back of the pack when her gear should have made mincemeat of the minefield after the tightropes). The rest mostly make sense considering Monoma's plan

Yes, most of class B's placements made sense under Monoma's plan; although there were stand-outs (Ibara came in fourth, Honenuki fifth). And of course the Hero classes would probably be in better physical shape than the others, so it's understandable there's be so many of them. Still...
(Aoyama came in 42nd. That's a bit surprising. He's cunning, he's egocentric, he's a bit of a coward; but I wouldn't have though he had the guts and initiative to push himself that hard. Still waters do run deep.)

Aoyama likely blew his proverbial load from the getgo with the start. After that he was basically out of commission for the entire race. Juzo and Ibara do make sense though, the both of them effectively got to skip all the obsticles due to their top-tier quirks. Shame that Juzo let T4 in his place for the Fest, he's had a high power-tier from the getgo, he only really got to show it off until last arc when he bodied most of A3
