Never understood the hate for Enchanted Parade. It's excellent and has great focus on elements I liked and wanted expanded from the first OVA.
The TV series IS dissapointing though. For a variety of reasons like ignoring everyone but Akko, having weird metaphors and plotlines that go nowhere, like Andrew's, and (but this is 100% personal) Sucy and Diana's characterization. Sucy got flanderized, Diana got replaced by a souless clone.
