So I'm reading the light novels for the first time and I'm on volume 4. How many fan translations are there? The one I'm reading seems to be riddled with typos, and the writing is very hard to follow. I'm not sure who is supposed to be speaking most of the time and I feel like I'm missing major plot-points. Does it get easier to understand in later novels or am I just a retarded person?

Real talk. How many years do you guys think Kamachi can keep doing this? To me, the series has jumped the shark because of how Magic Gods were used in the story. Since then, it has mainly been downhill and contrived in my eyes. Years after years, it feels like the franchise is in a downward spiral. While the character and their interactions remain interesting and a sellpoint, the plot and direction of the story as a whole have become stale and boring. The world-building and magic vs science theme are still good to me, so there is that.
