eugenics?
Luke Fisher
Most of that was someone else's actions or unintentional on his part, but I'll give it to you because I'm convinced all his and Seina's bloodlines are going to converge in a few generations and make the Kwisatz Haderach.
You need two more.
Owen Allen
Ah yes, the old classic Ryoko v Ayeka arguement.
But lets spice it up Yea Forums:
Mihoshi or Washu?
Ian Garcia
Washu all day every day.
I've always loved the smart characters best, and as a child I never caught the implication that she was trying to pretend she wasn't an adult, so I always thought she just liked a petite body, so I blame her for my current tastes. The ankle length hair is a bonus.
All that, and she has a MILF form.
Washu is the font from which most good things spring forth.
Mihoshi is one of them.
All that said, Mihoshi is a great, if lesser, choice. Brown, blonde, bubbly, bunny suit wearing bimbo, what's not to love?
Xavier Foster
WILFshu is peak perfection.
Adam Clark
he is too milquetoast
where are the cool male characters like goldenboy's
Anthony Clark
It kinda sucks that Kajishima decided to destroy his own creation with all the awful lore he's been shitting out since the 90s. He's like a Japanese George Lucas, but treats his characters even worse.
James Gray
I like what the harem does for series like Tenchi. With everyone getting a D a forgone conclusion, all the characters can get love and attention from the writer, no one getting lost in the shuffle for the MC because that's the focal point of everything.
Carter Turner
Instead, Tenchi is the glue that binds everyone together, rather than the post they're all tethered to.
Daniel Carter
Kajishima's been getting better about giving his MCs more personality each time since Tenchi.
If he does anything with the guy in the IF books that aren't about Tenchi's kids, the guy might actually have character.
Levi Davis
allowing existence.
Andrew Young
Not really, no. It diminishes whatever "affection" that piece of shit has for the girls. I mean, the guy fucks and impregnates Mihoshi, Ryo-Ohki and Kagato's female clone, among others, and he doesn't have romantic feelings for either of those. He just does it out of obligation.
Easton Harris
This
Daniel Brown
As long as we all agree that this is the OTP
Grayson Allen
>Kajishima's been getting better about giving his MCs more personality each time since Tenchi.
Too bad the girls get worse, particularly the awful characters he keeps adding to the original universe, while overshadowing the original cast. The only decent show he's made since the 90s is War on Geminar.
Colton Fisher
True, but Geminar was fucking choice.
Yukine in particular is one of the best girls Kajishima's made, and the rest are all great except Chiaia.
Jaxon Jones
First crush I ever had.
Logan Allen
Geminar was pretty good.
Jeremiah Johnson
Yeah, Yukine was my favorite in Geminar by far, though it had a lot of good characters.
There are certain character types that Kajishima's obsessed with that I hate though, particularly the older, psychotic women with too much power. Their designs tend to be ugly, they're incredibly unsympathetic, and they often disrupt the story and interfere with better characters. And in the end, they fuck Tenchi (or a Tenchi clone) anyway. I think Kajishima has a femdom fetish, considering I can't come up with any other reasons for adding so many of those obnoxious cunts.
Jayden Murphy
I'm re-watching Ryo-Ohki and wondering if there's any other series worth watching? Never watched Tenchi in Tokyo or anything.
Jonathan Richardson
Universe is decent, though the characterization is distinctly different and the backstories are different.
The three movies connected to it are also great.
Tokyo is shit, skip it.
Dual! Parallel Crisis Adventure is fantastic, it's like Evangelion filtered through Tenchi Muyo.
GXP is alright, though Kajishima hated Nabeshin's direction so much that he said fuck it and re-did the whole series as a light novel series, still going, though I think it's getting towards the end.
Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari or War on Geminar, is the best thing since the first two OVAs. Tenchi's little brother gets sent to a different world because (actually pretty solid) Reasons. Having been trained by all his family, he's understandably OP as fuck.
Ignore Pretty Sammy unless you have a hard on for Sasami and Mahou Shoujo, and ignore Ai! TM outright.
Also the backstory books for Azusa, Yosho, and Washu have been officially translated.
Lincoln Turner
Truth. All the girls were objectively best.
Owen Morris
Swordplay, bicycles, and uhh... hm. Seducing ancient super beings?
Justin Bennett
I like Mihoshi, because she's busty, brown and dumb.
Chase Bailey
When did Tenchi ever ride a bike?
Colton Nelson
Tenchi Universe has one of the most satisfying space journies in anime history.
Alexander Ortiz
...my ruse is shattered so quickly.
Alexander Perry
And never wears a bra, though almost always wears a choker.
I guess George Lucas was right, underwear doesn't exist in space.
Brayden Powell
Cool beans, thanks for the reply.
Jack Brooks
>thousands of years later ryoko is still the best girl
How did he create such a perfect being
Luis Perry
man its been a while since we had a comfy tenchi thread. I remember back in like march or april we had one hit bump limit
Lucas Williams
When you put it like that, I realize how formative Tenchi was for my tastes...
Jose Martinez
Jp or FUNi's BRs? I've been debating to upgrade finally
Bentley Evans
>Tokyo is shit, skip it.
Not liking best girl Sakuya is a crime. Shin isn't the best series, but it's fun and a nice change up after the OVA and first TV series.
I will second Dual being fantastic. That might be one of my favorite series which gets little love. Also The Legend of Black Heaven (unrelated to Tenchi)
Jaxon James
best girl
Asher Morales
Ryoko is Demon Queen
Parker Diaz
I will give it this one point, it really displays how the whole formula of the show doesn't work without Tenchi. It's a good deconstruction of Tenchi Muyo.
Andrew Taylor
pretty based taste
Easton Gray
welp time for a rewatch
Matthew Rivera
>Another Tenchi thread on Yea Forums
Feels good, bros
Jackson Evans
what was your tenchi related fetish growing up watching the show?
I remember there was that scene washu was about to give tenchi a blowjob for a sperm sample and mihoshi showed up and was about to watch it happen
I think that was the hottest scenerio
Jaxson Anderson
Tenchi + DOA = Purple hair girls
Josiah Sanders
>I remember there was that scene washu was about to give tenchi a blowjob for a sperm sample and mihoshi showed up and was about to watch it happen
Literally that number one role play fantasy.
Jason Phillips

Aiden Smith

James Flores
I don't care about him and his feelings, I care if characters win me over. Fun shenanigans with dysfunctional family of endearing characters > focus on race for boring self-insert.
Benjamin Evans
I honestly think washu was the best. or at least she would make the best wife
Nathaniel Ortiz
Nah, Sasami is the best wife.
But the thing is, she and Washu both realized early what kind of story they were in.
Mihoshi is too scatterbrained to worry about it, and Noike arrived after everything was set in motion, so that just leaves Ayeka and Ryoko to get with the program.
Which they do and start getting along really well, actually.
Robert Roberts
Even as a loli, Flora could see that Yukine was best girl.
Nolan Hill
I really hope we get more geminar at some point
Jason Lopez
I mean, there's the whole Dagmayer thread dangling.
Xavier Perry
This. Yagami best (non animal, non tree) spaceship.
Bentley Garcia
weren't the most recent 2 techi ova shit?
Kevin James
I like the world building and side characters, so I'd just call it sub-par. Not enough of the main cast.
Next one is supposed to have Kenshi and the kids, so that should be neat.
Xavier Harris
Nolan Sullivan
Mason Garcia
Except the show doesn't have that at all. If you remove the "race for Tenchi", then you also remove a lot of the characterization and motivation for the characters. In fact, Kajishima completely destroyed the original cast and the group dynamic that was established in the first two OVAs, by shifting the focus away to the poorly written politics of the background universe and introducing a ton of awful characters that are a complete bore to watch, and adding several of them to the harem. He also went back and retconned certain characters and destroyed the last bit of charm the franchise had.
Hell, I could even have accepted a partial harem if it only involved characters from the original series. At this point, even the few scenes that focus on the original cast aren't fun, because aside from Washu who's mostly herself, the rest of the cast are either dull or act like crude stereotypes of their original selves.
Luke Perez
>that piece of shit
He isn't piece of shit.
Carson Sullivan
>boring self-insert
Fuck you. My man Tenchi ain't self insert.
Sebastian Scott
Masaki Tenchi.
Masaki Kajishima
Any questions?
Ian Rodriguez
GXP novel translations when? The anime was actually pretty decent outside of the shitty attempts at humor with the robot. The recent translations of the True novels gave me some hope that it's not totally impossible.
Fagmayer was a mistake. I want an adventure exploring the world if a second season does happen by some miracle.
Brody King
Just bug Seven Seas every month with the surveys.
Sebastian Collins

Colton Richardson
She did give her an orgasm using the handle.

What
Owen Roberts
Basically, but mostly because it was a radio drama with cheesecake stills.
To be fair though, the ryo-ohki story has been bland in every iteration since Night Before the Carnival. Episode 1-6 had conflict and action, and 7 was a nice Ayeka and Ryoko listing after Tenchi episode. Past that, it just careens in to boring slice of life stuff with the occasional political conversation, and maybe some schmucks who don’t know what they’re getting in to before the universal powers decide to shred and remake existence for shits and giggles.
The only entertaining bits are the standard Japanese-boasting-just-before-getting-their-shit-kicked-in-because-they-couldn’t-sense-power-levels. That’s pretty much the entirety of war on geminar except you also had hordes of thirsty girls chasing kenshi making up for it.
Christopher Bailey
> brown skin and blond hair is godly
It really is the best combo, if we can throw Blue or Amber eyes in the mix it manages to take it even further.
Joseph Torres
Kiyone was amazing, if only because she was the only girl who really understood Tenchi’s situation of just getting dragged in to things.

i was pretty simple, i just wanted to see ryoko pin and tie up ayeka and have her way with her while ayeka was all flustered and protesting
Xavier Ward
I have not seen Ai Tenchi Muyo.
I heave never heard anyone mention Ai Tenchi Muyo.
I have downloaded and will tonight watch Ai Tenchi Muyo.
What am I in for lads? Surely it cant be bad. Or worse than GXP or In Tokyo.
Ian Edwards
It's worse than GXP. It's sidestory with new characters despite tenchi being in it
Julian Ramirez
It’s ok. A little weird as a matter of half a cast that has nothing to do with anything and half of the original cast being totally absent. It’s not bad, but not particularly memorable.
Connor White
If you're a fan of the franchise and starving for new content. I give it a watch. I haven't simply I never cared for the redesigns.
Landon Peterson
I wish
Ayden Perry
it's okay, it tries to put divided focus on new characters and a new story seperate from the old one, which I guess works cause it has such a different feel that being able to focus things that weren't part of the old show helps it settle in, and then when you go back to the old characters it feels proper nostalgic as you realize the show creators indeed to care very much about the original show.
Colton Clark
That is why i personally like Tenchi a lot is because he clearly wants to left in peace with his gardening and taking care of house whole still caring about the girls.
Tyler Ortiz
>yurifag
OUT NOW
Brayden Nguyen
with all the "reboot" craze that happened the last couple years, Ai was one of the ones I didn't mind to much, I think it became obvious that the best that came out were the ones that tried to continue the series that was previously unfinished/not fully adapted, trying to force a continuation like with Sakura or just redoing the original like LOGH left mixed results, but with AI it's open ended enough on both the back and front ends that's it's not as offensive to "reboot"
Jason Gray
or if you're like fate, don't just try to remake the original in one season and actually try to surpass it by putting out more content than the original had, I think that's the only reasonable exception
Andrew Kelly
I really wouldn't hate if this kind of thing happened a bit more often, it only seems natural that two girls sharing the same cock would eventually start exploring eachother's friendship more intimately. I'd allow it if it were my harem.
Mason Butler
Am I reading this image correctly? One kiss with Mihoshi. One with Ryoko.
Three with Ryo-Ohki??? Three?? God damn, battleship pussy must be the best. Or he's a furry? Didn't expect that....
Brayden Lee
teehee giggle blush
Alexander Edwards
OVA: bi-tsundere for each other
TV: legitimately hate each other
Tokyo: just love rivals
Landon Morgan
Ryoko is bi, and Ayeka bi-curious only if it would please Tenchi.
Parker Walker
Tenchi is the only highschool dropout I know in anime.
The only other person who dropped out even earlier is Ash Ketchum who dropped out of school when he was 10 years old and never went back to school.
Evan Cooper
That's why I hated Tenchi GXP and most of the inferior Tenchi male clones.
I wanted a sequel where Tenchi goes off to space while learning how to fight in space while attending galaxy police academy.
Instead, we get like what Tenchi's cousin which ended up killing interest in the series since America did not enjoy the new protagonist and the new female cast did not endear themselves to anybody.
Seina is legitimately annoying. Kenshi was okay in comparison.
Joseph Johnson
I like Kenshi more than Tenchi myself
Tenchi is probably the worst part of his own series and the progenitor of the asexual harem leads
his goku clone of a brother was much better imo
Ian Gray
The three Ryo-ohki kids are all the same height wearing the same uniform, so she probably had triplets. Seems fitting for an animal to have a litter.
Elijah Howard
I had a lot of kid boners to this image god its been awhile
Austin Mitchell
That is exactly what happened.
I'm not sure if the implication here is that she laid an egg, or became the egg.
Matthew Miller
Michael Morris
>Prince Ryoko saves Ayeka from sadistic rapist Tenchi. They ride away on a mecha horse
David Bennett
Jaxson Richardson
A mecha horse from G Gundam it appears, no less
Owen Myers
I'm just saying, Tenchi is but one man, with one dick. He can handle maybe two girls at a time without anyone feeling left out.
So when one of them is getting pounded into her futon, moaning loud enough for the whole house to hear, they probably see who else feels like sharing their bed for the night.
Where's that page of Ryoko explaining to Ayeka that her daddy has two wives, so Tenchi having a few shouldn't be that inconceivable, and offering to help her practice making out?
Charles Walker
Maybe so, but have you seen Tenchi in Tokyo? Tenchi can easily abandon his harem just for one hussy.
Thomas Hughes
I call bullshit magic shenanigans. Just like in Tenchi in Love 2. Besides, even in both those instances. Tenchi clearly chooses Ryoko.
Asher Scott
The way Ryoko was talking while chasing Tenchi through the school (before it blew up) gave me a thing for that kind of voice.
Tyler Garcia
>I like the world building and side characters, so I'd just call it sub-par. Not enough of the main cast.
That's how I feel. I loved the deep lore of Tenchi Muyo!, but it is meaningless if you aren't seeing it through the eyes of the characters you care about.
Hudson Parker
Mihoshi now and forever
Easton Nguyen
Austin White
This chin could poke out an eye.
Anthony Bennett
He’s less Goku and more Saitama, barring the whole being bored schtick. He was just broken, and everyone correctly either uses him as a pawn or makes plans around trying to avoid him or attack while he is distracted. He also had the benefit of being tricked by the bad guys at the beginning and believing then because he was naive/desperate enough to.
Zachary Myers
>teen sasami
fuck yes
Christopher Peterson
Not going to lie seeing Ryoko cross-dress like that was kind of hot.
Luis Torres
Old cute Sasami is the best Sasami
Robert Foster
I'd honestly love to see something like GXP but instead of the galaxy police the main character becomes a space pirate.
also they should be based like kenshi and not beta like seina
Nicholas Robinson
Imagine the good morning blowjobs from highschool sasami when she gets older
Jackson Torres
I'm glad the thread has survived this long. wonder if we can get it to bump limit like that one time
also post ideas for standalone series in the tenchi universe you want to see with new male leads
Adrian Taylor
She skips breakfast with the excuse "Oh, I already ate."
Carson King
Up and coming member of the philosophy division of the Space Academy.
More or less GXP except the guy has a talent or two.
Jose Gray
wait, all of tenchi's kids are girls and all of seina's kids are boys? Couldnt be bothered to mix it up at all?
Jose Cox
>Ash Ketchum who dropped out of school when he was 10 years old and never went back to school
Where have you been the past few years?
Evan Robinson
>code geass but its tenchi and in space
spunds pretty good
Jayden James
As a matter of fact, Tenchi has one boy, by Washu.
He runs away from home, fed up with all the crazy broads, becomes an archeologist, and uncovers the remains of Masaki, the sister of the first Emperor of Jurai, and the person that first climbed the Tsunami Tree and got to talking with it.
There's no word yet about Sasami having a child, so she might have a boy. That leaves one Choushin, and I personally doubt that Tokimi is interested in actually joining the harem.
Also all the kids end up together, the sets are clear by their height and age.
Jack Cooper
I feel like washu would make the best mother
Caleb Perez
Yeah, because she already went through motherhood off-screen set apart from the rest of the girls. Aside from her, maybe Sasami/Tsunami.
Jeremiah Adams
The rest seem to do alright, except for Noike who raises a rapist that gets teen pregnant.
Michael Allen
yeah that was weird
Jason Evans
First half of Ryo-Ohki + second half of Universe = best timeline
Have some wallpaper.
Thomas Bennett
I need more of Sasami being sassy and done with Ryoko and Ayeka's shit.
Like when she duped Ryoko into waking up Mihoshi by telling her she could go get Washu instead.
Jeremiah Morales
ALWAYS I WANNA BE WITH YOU

Joseph Williams
Pretty Sammy got completely overshadowed by Nanoha which in turn got overshadowed by Illya
Ryder Morgan
So the original Pretty Sammy series?
Liam Ross
Girls like Ryoko, yurishit, uniforms and tan girls.
I also was always searching for Ryoko's tail in most of the episodes for no reason.
Colton Nguyen
Most of the time it seems like it's part of her dress.
Noah Morgan
I pretty much gave up on this series ever since OVA4 travesty came out. It doesn't help these doujins that he creates to expand the story into the future are jarring and all over the place and tend to be more bad than good. It's a shame, really.
