Fate/strange fake

Why do role even give a shit about fate/grand order when this exists

>interesting plot
>no out of the ass servants
>author of drrr and

sigma more based than every male fate protag

Speaking of FGO and FSF, Nasu just fucked Narita up again with Asclepius in LB4 lol. Narita also posted a tweet about this too.

what is the main theme of Strange Fake ?

Was LB4 written by Nasu?

They haven't said anything about the writer of LB4 so far but according to nips, LB4 is probably written by Nasu (tho if Nasu is indeed the writer, it would be pretty strange since they didn't mention it on the stream).

Anyway from what Narita said on twitter, Nasu told him over a year ago that they were going to use Asclepius and that he was going to make a new one and not use Narita's.

The Babylon and Camelot chapters of fgo are some of the best written stories that I’ve read in anime and manga. I look forward to reading Fate strange Fake this summer, I get the feeling that it’s the only installment that Yea Forums doesn’t hate of fate

It'a a power wank fantasy too don't kid yourself.

>Nasu told him over a year ago that they were going to use Asclepius and that he was going to make a new one and not use Narita's.
If thats the case, why couldn't he just use a different historical figure instead of going with Asclepius?
>The hero of medicine
>Is an assassin
Nasu logic

I just want see more of mah boi Pale Rider

He's caster in fgo which is supposedly Nasu's version.

Asclepius is a caster.

But he's a Caster

I'm so fucking tired of grail wars. I don't even care if it's not written horribly this time or characters are good. Enough with fucking grail wars.

then play fate grand order. The first few parts of the story are pretty shit but Camelot and Babylonia are good. Don't waste your money on that game though, it can be addictive

Don't play grand order. You can read everything on youtube. Don't forget to watch some culminations fights.

I started recently and just finished Rome. Shit is so fucking bad it's hilarious. The only good things so far were Elizabeth and Stheno.

Like seriously, this is below average isekai shit levels of bad.

Rome is yet more Nerodindunuffin bad senate and bad everyone.

Rome is pretty much the worst fgo has to offer so at least you're past that.

>Whore of Babylon chapter
What did you expect?

user Septem is bad to the point Sakurai (the writer) had to apologize for it after all.

Not like previous two parts were better. When Lev started doing le evil bad man faces I felt like I was watching SAO or something.

I found them slightly better and more enjoyable than Septem. Not calling them good though.

Chaldea getting Lev'd is still a very important plot point by now. You will understand his autism someday.

Probably not anytime soon, especially if he were to be an enigmatic figure like Merlin and Saint Germain is right now.

Attached: Saint_Germain.png (1443x2048, 1.92M)

Prior to Camelot no one, not even Nasu give a shit about FGO. It only started getting good after Camelot.

Point that out to any uppity FGOniggers.

Attached: GOchar4.png (320x670, 144K)

Narita is too slow (because he's dying) and he keep adding new character without the balls to kill anyone.

Just make snek doctor in SF Asclepius lily.

>what is epic of remnant

Her death was so fucking stupid. I'm glad she lives in Case Files.

Attached: A8VCpAB.jpg (726x912, 100K)

Reminder that young Olga is going to appear in Case Files anime.

You will die before it's finished.

Interesting premise, interesting characthers and as usual from drrr's author shitty development.

Which one? Shinjuku and Salem were okay. Agartha is very meh and Musashi wank in Shimosa was terrible, but I still found Septem worse than them.

What development? Literally nothing happened in 5 volumes.

>implying

Attached: Yui_Ikari.png (140x439, 69K)

nothing happens in FGO either

the first 4 lostbelts have been literal filler

Only retards defend FGO writing though while I see tons of people acting like S/F is amazing.

That was the point.

>implying Olga isn't U-chan now
To be fair Olga wasn't said to be dead, though. According to Lostroom booklet, we have
>dream of the dead -> Lev
>dream of the living person -> Fujimaru
>dream of the absence/dream that doesn't exist -> Olga
Also this
>She will experience an eternal death akin to be absorbed by a blackhole or the sun, where she is disassemble on the molecular level. She disappeared, leaving no trace of her behind. The girl called Olga Marie, is no more.
There are more hints/foreshadowing about it but the Priestess is probably Olga or is at least relevant to her. Still, i doubt if she could be saved though.

I finished the Rome one last night and find it hard to believe anything about FGO can be better than half decent

The awful translation that makes everything seem stilted doesn't seem like it'll get better either

Define "filler". Of course since LB3 intro, Chaldea's final goal is the Atlantis Lostbelt and they only decided to go to China because muh poison (yeah this is still kinda stupid after all) but about LB4, Chaldea need materials for Allonics Phantasm and Black Barrel Replica + more information about the Crypters/God/Atlantis since LB5 has a very powerful defense.

Continue . Do it for her.

Gilgamesh was the first servant to died lmao. ooo boi gilfags were on absolute damaged control that time when vol 5 spoilers dropped on /vg/

How was he defeated?

Only reason I started playing was that I wanted saber, hopefully I get her eventually

Sounds good. Fuck Gilfags.

kys yuri nigger.

While i myself like Gil (excluding the 5 holy grail war's gil) him throwing thunder, fire and other stuff out of his ass was bullshit. What was author even thinking. If author even lets him survive the hydra poison he may as well call this holy grail war over as noone dies.

Pretty sure Gil survives it though? Also vol 5 also says he has a hidden NP too (only with Tine as his master IIRC) so i doubt if Gil would die soon.
Poor Clae.

Her death was so hot

His first act after his summoning nailed the cause of his downfall.
Literally throw the catalyst was used for his summoning which was the golden key of his capital. A fucking freepass access to his GoB.
Later on it was picked by Philia(Ishtar) and was used to sealed his GoB during his battle against Alkeides

Is FGO worth playing? I played it on release for a little, but after 2 weeks I ended up quitting because I lost my account.

I’m more interested in the story, and you don’t need 5 stars to complete areas like in most gachas?

Is there any point in rerolling in the game now? I think when I started you got a free 4 star and 5 star, so it was optimal.

i couldn't keep reading the text when i reached francis drake's era
i applaud those who manage to keep up with this story

You can complete it with 1-3 stars only just fine. As for rerolling, I would only reroll to the point that Herc is your tutorial roll 4 star because he's the best last man standing servant in the game.
And in NA somewhere in august - september you'll get free 4 star servant of your choice.

You dont even need heracles. I stopped using him since long ago already and whenever i did use him as a pinch hitter, he wasnt remotely close to even coming out.

Some people unironically likes gameplay. But it is still gacha. I can't stomach how encounters designed in FGO Rance X was parody of gacha but with great design. So you can just read story and everything on youtube and FGO wiki.
>youtube.com/watch?v=2M65EQvUQnc
Literally 6 hours long VN.

literally

nothing

has happened since they got to neo chaldea

except every VN engine on the planet has better visuals than FGO

and also voices

and actual choices

It's amazing how Dx2 has 3D battles, voice acting for most story content and actually decent translation and FGO doesn't despite making infinitely more money

You can get through almost all of part 1 using a support Cu Alter or some servant that specifically counters the enemies. Story wise, only the last two singularities and the finale are good in part 1.
Rerolling for Herc is a meme. He only gets really good once you get his bond CE, at which point you most likely won't have to rely on Herc solo shit for you. It's better to go for some starter 4* you like or shoot for a 5* if you like to suffer.

Playing it for a while and honestly have mixed feelings. Story is garbage, main characters are garbage but some of the side characters are great. I already love Liz.

It's hilarious how dated FGO looks. I started that Madoka mobage and quality difference is astonishing.

>why do role
?????

Could they turn Jack the ripper into a new Hassain of sorts? I learned to accept loli jack because I guess the backstory of dead baby souls is alright and they want revenge however Strange Fake jack is a million times better

Was is gilgamesh such a fucking jobber? I really am starting to get tired of Archer Gils shit his Caster version is the superior choice

You realize that each LB is just a deconstruction of monster of the week formula. Each LB has a main plot for its own, but it does very little to encircle the over arching story of season 2. Each LB exist only to give you small detail of the final episode instead of allowing the main plot/conflict being discuses and challenged within each LB. But here you have in X episode you kill X enemy and here is the X sob story. Each LB work exactly jsut like it did in season one for the first 5 chapters.

The only good stories in FGO is Guda Guda

Attached: 164815435457145.jpg (1077x1575, 223K)

The archer version is arrogance itself in human form, which makes him play around only to be defeated because he let his guard down.
While the caster version is arrogant too, he properly plans things through without understimating the enemy.

Story was utter trash prior to Camelot, Septem is the lowest point. It's like they waited until the America arc before they realise FGO was actually popular and worth putting some actual effort in.

I'm here to tell you that all those times don't count.

Attached: 1557782579833.png (520x600, 349K)

FGO honestly feels like some fluke I’m amazed the japs stick with it for however long they did

holy fuck.
so Camelot and Babylonia are the only good ones? Any of the other ones worth reading, and this one is all of Babylonia right?

youtube.com/watch?v=hrz9_gLwHIM

Is caster gil after he searches for immortality after losing Enkidu to Ishtar or something else?

How is Shinjuku, or the one where you play as jalter, alter saber, and edmond

>Is caster gil after he searches for immortality after losing Enkidu to Ishtar or something else?
Yes. After Enkidu dies and he gets his immortality herb stolen he becomes a sage.

He was destroying hercules and about to finish him off when ishtar sealed off his GoB. Hercules took advantage of this and shot him with a hydra arrow.

It’s a cute story

I'll just wait for the inevitable anime adaption.

The Rome singularity (Septem) is commonly referred to as the worst FGO story in both NA and JP.

I'd say all the singularities in FGO are middling at best, until you get to Camelot and Babylonia. They're truly the standouts in a sea of mediocrity and sometimes plain shit.

it's definitely not as bad as Septem but it's not as good as Camelot or Babylonia. Its just alright. I enjoyed it because I love Jeanne alter

>hercules
ultracringe fuckoff

Camelots getting a fucking movie(s) and Babylonia is getting an anime so I guess even typemoon knows

>Black Barrel Replica
I am not sure if I should feel regretful about leaving FGO behind now.

>Fan vote
Sure is

Camelot is when I actually started to like Mash for once

>b-but muh mature plot and mature characters for mature boys such as myself

Nasu mentioned in an interview that they didn't even know whether people cared about the story in a mobage until they were in the middle of working on America. That's why they started to put effort into it from there on out. They're very well aware that the early singularities are low-effort trash even for FGO's standards.

Kill yourself, those are seriously trash compared to any previous Nasu work.
Camelot is unironically the only salvageable part of FGO to this day (along with Lostbelt 1 I guess) and it's just decent.

Guda Guda is pretty fun

I thought Orleans and London were okay for the earlier chapters. I ended up disliking America more than I thought I would. Accel Zero is probably still the best event.

Not even as good as Koha-Ace.

I think Orleans only got good at the end.

but but nobu

Attached: 1556756510289.jpg (800x530, 258K)

so what’s nasu gonna do with fgo, is he going to keep help writing scenarios. or will he leave (remember someone quoting him from an interview)

She's from Koha-Ace.

He said he was gonna leave after Lostbelt (presumably after 2020) which is the best we can hope for at this point.
5 years wasted on a mediocre story in a garbage game is more than enough.

I seriously hope he works on rewriting FSN Fate route for a film adaptation after HF

I know that but not a lot of koha ace is translated or at least the few I found.

>Accel Zero is probably still the best event
CCC is way better

Im still baffled even when it comes to Fate they are STILL stuck on animating the original stay night I mean yeah the movies are cool and shit but there is already a fucking sequel.

Barely anyone wants to bother since koha is super Japanese inside joke humor

what?

No, both of them remember losing the herb to the snake. They just said fuck that and went back to get a new one.

Yea, he threw a fit. I think he's angry FGO became way more popular than Extra.

Extra would be better if it had better gameplay, although it has god tier waifus.

is he really the type of guy who would get pissed off his dumb vita game was not as well received at some dumb mobile game spin off

If we could rate a series by waifus alone, FGO would be the magnum opus of Type Moon. Extra fucked up big time with the story. It's by far the most boring Holy Grail War of the bunch.

No wonder considering he clearly put actual effort into CCC especially, whereas FGO is 90% low effort trash, and even the serious parts are a mixed breed of his writing with 50 other authors.
Both of them are a shitty way to go for Type-Moon, but the sooner the trash fire that is FGO is over, the sooner he can move on to literally anything else.

Do you think the reason type moon has so much comedy spin offs making fun of themselves is becasue deep down nasu has some unnatural rage for what Fate has become?

No they've always had a goofy side which is great, even in Tsukihime you have Ciel-sensei, FSN has the tiger dojo, Mahoyo has Alice's Ploy lessons. It helps lighten up the seriousness of their main works.
The problem is that FGO often can't distinguish when to put these dumb moments in, which is just another of the many flaws in its garbage story.

>Carnival phantasm 2020 will just be a bunch of FGO shit

bros....

I unironically really hope FGO gets its own shitty separate series, I don't wanna see my favorite FSN/Tsuki crossover ruined by characters I hate.
They should just add a few KnK and Mahoyo sketches and leave it at that.

Attached: 1558794331561.png (961x561, 918K)

With many events and interludes, FGO is like an extended Carnival Phantasm. Considering it's Fate, the story went from bad to serviceable and sometimes good.
Usually the people angry with FGO are the ones who deluded themselves into thinking the original and Zero were masterpieces. Nasu started the franchise with a fucking eroge, he shouldn't feel offemded about it.

The entire company was founded around Nasu and this is his franchise. He gets to do what he wants. He tells Narita to do what he wants too. It's not like he's restricting anyone. He only restricts people if they're writing for something directly related to his own canon. Since Nasu considers Fate/strange fake to be a separate thing, he gives Narita total freedom. Narita's the one who doesn't want to embrace that freedom. That's not Nasu's fault at all.

Nah I understand why some people hate FGO and do not really care I still like it but I know its flaws

The only issue I have in the Fate community is that for whatever fucking reason there is this new conception that Zero is the only good Fate related work that fuckin grinds my gears.

Attached: 1559776023418.gif (480x270, 1.74M)

It's never gonna fucking finish, that's why.

I used to have a huge thing against Zerofags a few years ago.
Compared to FGOfags now, they don't even seem that bad at all. What grinds my gears is people OK with the direction TM went in and that their current main work is gacha cancer, wasting any of its good concepts in an awful format.

Attached: 1538122546828.png (1280x720, 293K)

This is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever fucking heard.

FGO updates

I'd be fine with the Riyo comic being a full series, the one short they released was pretty food.

FSF just got a new volume a couple months ago, dumb gachafag.

Sure, I'd be perfectly happy with that if it means nothing more than a cameo seeps into the next Carnival Phantasm.

Even Gilgamesh isn't stupid enough to leave a key that could literally seal away his treasury lying around for anyone to take. What the fuck is Narita doing? Why did he even fucking use Gilgamesh if he was gonna do this?

>FSF just got a new volume a couple months ago, dumb gachafag.
How the fuck did I miss this? Did no one talk about it on Yea Forums?

I haven't been around here often lately but it did happen, volume 5 is out.

>Gilgamesh leaves a key to his treasury lying around
>Assume that surely, SURELY this won't come back to bite him in the ass because it can't be that fucking obvious. Surely this isn't a stupid obvious setup to his inevitable downfall. That would be way too fucking retarded.
>That is exactly what happens.
>Gilgamesh literally leaves the ultimate weapon capable of allowing anyone to disable his treasury lying around for his enemies to find.
>Narita literally created the perfect weapon to be used against Gilgamesh, made Gilgamesh so retarded that he actually held this perfect weapon in his hand at one point and instead of destroying it or putting it in his vault, he just tosses it aside for anyone to fucking find.

This is literally the dumbest Gilgamesh has ever been. I know we call him the King of Carelessness or the King of Jobbers, but this really fucking takes the cake.

Gilgamesh is a retard
This is known

Isn’t tiger dojo this comedy you speak of

>>Gilgamesh literally leaves the ultimate weapon capable of allowing anyone to disable his treasury lying around for his enemies to find.
No random retard can open and close the gate or even understand the value of the key. It happened because it's fucking Ishtar, who shouldn't even be in that HGW. She's not even a servant.

This is many, many times more retarded than literally anything else he's ever done. This is literally the most retarded thing anyone has ever done in the entire history of TYPE-MOON, the absolute apex of all stupid bullshit. Even if you combined every single stupid shit that every character in every story has done, including Gilgamesh, it would still be nowhere near as retarded as this one instance.

samefag and gilfag

The reason people don't shit on is because it doesn't have an anime adaptation yet. Reading a book requires having a greater attention span than watching a TV show.
