50/50. Story makes it clear that in order for Ragna and Crimson to actually defeat the dragon courts they are going to have to accumulate people they can afford to sacrifice. Starlia is probably safe this fight but I do expect she'll bite it down the line.

I think Starlia is rather more essential to Crimson's army-making plan compared to her subordinates, though. She's renowned for her skill in shaping silver weapons, after all. Given that the embryonic plan Crimson formed around the time he and Ragna were cooperating with the mercenaries was based around equipping an army with weapons formed from Ragna's crimson aura, Starlia seems rather essential to strengthening that aspect of his plans.

I agree, and unlike those mooks from before Starlia's troops are also highly trained and disciplined in addition to her being a psychic powerhouse. They did manage to kill one of the 13 brethren by themselves.

I just think if the story wants to keep a sense of tension that it can't just be the silver Corp members who can be killed off because I can see them losing some distinct characters this fight. And killing Starlia after she's so far managed to really endear herself to the readers would be a good future gut punch.

Read back and found it. The old man cut the arm off a high class dragon and also struck down the Mountain Sword Dragon. Who is the 9th ranked dragon and a scientist according to the flashforward to Ragna's encounter with them. Killing Dornia is the reason the corps is on the run since two of the other brethren were dispatched to eliminate them.

Dragons that are secretly vampires, are wiping out the human population of a country, and will probably continue to do shitty things to other countries because they worship a god that forgets stuff sometimes. Main character desperately tries to save a loli, and in the process gains the memory and abilities of himself from another, future timeline. He because a punch-idiot and teams up with a black magic terrorist to kill all the dragons ever.

Probably longer. My biggest concern is the series getting canned before it even begins tying up its ends with the current pace.
There's still another five dragon clans to get through after Arty's gang, before Ragna goes up against God and/or Crimson. And you'd think Leo is going to come back at some point too.

Plus the Sun Cult has to come into play at some point, and I'd hope we get to see Crimson's moon base.

I think the writer could skip fighting all the other courts but at least 1 should show up at some point. Depending on the nature of "god" it's possible that killing them could stop the remaining dragons.

I don't think they can really skip the other clans entirely because of how autistic Ragna and Crimson are about wiping them all out. But I can see a matured Ragna insta-killing them or something, or maybe someone like Leo killing a few offscreen.

All of that as well as the whole Nuked Earth backstory Crimson has going on too. Easy to forget what with all the crazy going on but there is plenty of lore to the series, I just hope there's a decent payoff.
