If I wanted to see another manga about an ensemble cast of high school girls and their hijinks, I'd re-read Lucky Star or whatever other of the zillions of gag manga out there with the same theme.

The only inconsistent one is Nemo, which is reasonable since they just made it slightly cooler against her green outfit, and slightly hotter against her red one.
Tomoko's character development started when Imae rescued her and mentoring her after she tried to drown herself in a lake.
Then Imae had to graduate soon, and Tomoko didn't want to lose her, so she created a Kemurikusa that would eat College applications, but it grew out of control.
Left with no other way to save Imae, Tomoko had to use Kemurikusa on herself and split herself into 6 highschool seniors: A yankee, and autist, a class mom, an emoji, an eroge voice actress, and a dick loving pervert. When she realizes it's to late to save imae, she locks out her memories so those 6 girls can live as they please, but then Imae gets reborn as Shizuku.
I hate how Asuka is becoming obsessive being in Tomoko's harem.

Story was too cringe and they run out of ideas so decided to give friends to weird MC, this worked and the story was popular again so they keep doing the same, using more and more classic anime cliches but with a surprise aspect to make it look original, you have your emotionless cute girl, the always happy annoying, stalker gag character, kohai-senpai bullshit, delinquent but not really, ara ara perfect girl, etc. Giving also some yuri vibes to attract /u/fags but never going full homo so if people get bored they still can play safe but if people like it they can go on with more. There was some development but you have to wait to actually see something worth, Tomoko or waifu#3 saying something about friends, maturity, being weird or some other super deep stuff is fine but you can´t make them say something like this from time to time and pretend is a great development, specially if all is about some kind of wacky misunderstanding and not about something actually important, the same way you can´t just be logical with Tomoko not having friends despite all her best efforts and now being friends with everyone doing nothing, some of them could happen, having half class following you feels more like your typical bullshit about loser MC who is belobed by everyone but you have to beliebe the guy is the lowest of the social circle
