I still haven't seen that much yet but if your going to torrent it I would recommend staying away from the US blu-ray release it has that funi dbz remaster thing going on where the colors and de-graining process is so terrible it negates the hd upgrade. i got a nice copy of the uk dvd relese which is better though the jap dvds are better.

She here's the problem with Sailor Moon. The original show doesn't really hold up well, but Crystal is soulless. So you're stuck in limbo unless you're purely a manga fan. Crystal really should have been put in the hands of people who gave a shit.

They are very different. I recommend watching it all.
It is really really worth it if like me you have a soft spot for this particular brand of charming slice of life stuff mixed with the formulaic monster of the week format.
The original series truly excels at that, which in turn makes the climaxes much more impactful and resonating since you'll end up loving the characters much more.
