Takahata is pretty based too.

Miyazaki knows that gays are wrong.

Because they don't need to pander to mentally ill minorities to make money.

Why are you telling lies? Oh true, lgbtfaggots are mentally ill I almost forgot about that.

>never made any works with LGBT content
>movie where the main characters swapped into each others' bodies of the opposite sex, which they then acted girl/manly in respective bodies giving off a message of breaking gender norms
Sure

What’s the point in pandering to fujoshits and yurifags when family films rake in more dosh?

Your Name was pretty conservative at its core. Nothing wrong with that but still. For example see Nobuhiko Obayashi's Tenkousei for a more LGBT approach take on the same subject (homosexuals in Japan used to be called "men with the heart of women)

Miyazaki has stated his hate for faggots multiple times

Miyazaki is of the old guard, and as for Shinkai, if you had to list all the things that aren't in his movies you'd never finish. The man has no variety nor range with his "boy and girl drift apart over time" tripe.

Did Yuasa ever stain his hands with homoshit?

Idk. Not something they cared about enough to put in their works? Miyazaki didn't really do romance and most of his works were from a time when lgbt wasn't mainstream. I could maybe see Shinkai doing something in the future, but a story with straight characters is simply more marketable than a story with gay ones.

>what is Devilman Crybaby

I'm not sure Miyazaki is aware that homosexuals exist. I think if you asked him he'd still think that we're living in the showa era.

Ironically, Yuasa shat over the greatest love story ever told for pushing the blandest waifu ever.

Is this a serious question?

All fucking faggots must fucking hang.

Actually not gay at all compared to the original.

Fuck off Miki.

>EVERYONE SHOULD BE STRAIGHT LIKE GRUG
Hetfags are amusing.

It has the most explicit gay sex scene seen in anime.

Said gay also turns out to be one of the biggest pieces of shit in whole show.

ehem.

True.
Speaking of Yuasa, how many people didn't catch that the old man of Mind Game was a homo?

>namefag
>hetshit
Woah, look at this mentally ill dumbass and laugh. Sorry for breaking your reality but "hetshit" is the norm and it has been the norm since the very start, luckily for us all of your kind will be extinct in a close future due to your unhability to reproduce yourselves.

Hosoda has one?

Hosoda directed all the Juri episodes of Utena.

I don't think Shinkai films are aimed at families, although they do watch them.

>Hetfags
There's a lot of embarrassing linguo flying around Yea Forums but this term always takes the fucking crown of retardation.

Yeah but it's way different when you're following orders and when you're doing it because you want to

I don't remember anything in his backstory hinting at his sexuality.

There's no fucking way they're the only ones.

>your kind will be extinct in a close future due to your unhability to reproduce yourselves

I don't even know if it's trolling or not, I'm too old for this shit.

Teruaki Murakami is the third one.

I think Shinkai make films with ronery men in mind because he sees himself as a ronery guy, even if he's married and was already famous before Your Name, but if other people besides ronery men watch his movies, it's fine. In contrast, see moe otakus or comic book fans which are very posessive with their hobbies and when they got in the creative side make every effort to alienate everyone outside their little club

His backstory didn't, he was married, but in the montage of scenes from the future at the end of the movie you can see him giving flowers with a heart to another guy, and then several scenes from before make sense: before riding the current to go outside there was an awkward moment with the MC, and he actually wanted to confess; he wasn't interested in spying the girls taking a shower before the MC pushed him; the lingerie he kept in the closet was there so he could wear it himself, etc.

I dont speak the language of the pigs.

Your Name had Tsukasa Fujii and those grills that liked Taki!Mitsuha.

>Tsukasa Fujii
It was a gay joke. Nothing serious

>those grills that liked Taki!Mitsuha.
Class S. That's anti-gay

serious question, what exactly are Miyazaki's political stances? I know he's "left" leaning considering his militant views on environmentalism, feminism, and war. But at the same time I don't see him conforming to SJW standards of leftism that are popular today in burgerland, for example.
Like, even though all his protagonists are essentially free independent women, I don't think he would 'approve' of green haired transgenders. If anything, he seems to be almost conservative in that he wants a return to a reaaaallly ancient social order, one without any gender roles or technology

Attached: PM_1.png (565x383, 413K)

Leftist revolutions tend to be socially conservative and America never had a real left. Quoting Zizek, what the rise of the so-called social justice warriors or whatever you want to call them actually mean is leftists giving up at making real changes at the power structure

>giving off a message of breaking gender norms
The characters are pretty disgusted about being in their opposite bodies and the whole movie is about them trying to get back.
Now if your name had ended with them accepting life in their new bodies that would've been some truly gay ass shit.

American politics and people who speak from that perspective alone are retarded.
It's either hard left or hard right with no nuance and people who think like "unless everybody holds my exact opinion and uses my pronouns they're bigots"
Don't read the works and political views of foreigners through that lens, you'll just confuse yourself.

I've noticed that gays have started to feel rather comfortable on Yea Forums recently.

Stop trying to understand the world through amerishart "politics".

hosoda did worse by delving into the furry fandom.
