No they haven't. The quality of the animation has gone up but everything else is still garbage. It's gone from being a 4/10 to being a 5/10 at best but the enhanced animation quality just serves to highlight how lacking the show is in every other aspect.
Take any fight scene and close your eyes for 10 seconds and you'll have no idea what's going on. If you do the same for season 1 you don't even need to watch the fights to know what's happening in them.

Because they still have no clue how to pacing.
Part of the reason the death shower scene was ruined is because they decided that the episode had to end with Bang's appearance, thus meaning they de-prioritized that scene. Still, they could have done something like cut the OP/ED to make back the time. But no, just ruin death shower by both crushing the quality and the build up.

The animation did get better, but the pacing is still bad. Don't get me started on that awful sound design, is there a way to remove the sound effects? I would totally attempt to fix that shit because I believe that good design can really help the animation.

Genos remix is alright SK far but due to bad audio mixing and anytime he's on screen the muddled SFX ruins it to know where it starts and ends.
