I don't know, I have mixed feelings. On one hand I loved the MC personality, on other hand I hated his overpowered power that was quite boring. I liked the cast with lot of friends, but the school bits were meh.

Also, moder clothing in medieval-like settings is something that always triggers me and this had characters randomly dressing with neckties and school uniforms.

I know this has been said before on these threads but man this was terrible, I consider myself to have low standards and it did not even reach them.
I feel like the Slime anime and Log Horizon did the whole 'upgrading' theme a lot better if you understand what I mean.
the manga Dr.Stone actually shows all the scientific explanations off for each invention the MC makes, unlike this show where everything boils down to Shin doing something with minimal explanation and the side characters wanking him for 3 min. after the fact.
I'm sure I'm just reading into this show too much and I might be taking it too seriously but this show honestly blows and is extremely low effort. I have nothing against Isekai but after reading so many, I feel disappointed about just how watered down this one felt like compared to even the adaptations of Shield Hero and something like Goblin Slayer.

Kenja no Mago isn't entirely bad, the problem is the romance is literally smashed into your face right from the beginning, there's no buildup or development, and it's too much "slice of life" bullshit. If the MC was an adventurer instead of a schoolboy, it would have been a fun ride seeing him build up a mercenary group while going on adventures or something. BUT NO! Because fucking Japan doesn't know how to frame happiness outside of a school setting, because their lives are fucking horrible after graduation.

Well this was a pretty fun ride. While it may not be objectively good I feel like it had enough enjoyable aspects to it that made it worth watching and I certainly looked forward to it every week. The spats service was also excellent. Now that it's over, how would you rank the girls, who was best girl and why? For me it's Alice. I'd say her and maria were both top tier for me but I really liked alice's pair with rin and her losing it when people talked shit about her flatness was actually really well done for once in a series. Other than that she's just simply the cutest.

Early on I thought superboy would come up with a way to undemonise people but nah, he just kills em all and I respect that. Big tiddy demon attacking them was anime original content, at least compared to the manga. They went with it looks cool approach I guess.

In fairness it did look cool. I was actually thinking they might kill off at least one person in that fight so I was on edge.

Silverlink probably would have done a better job at OPM than JCStaff though. They got both the comedy scenes and the action right, which is all OPM would have needed really.

This was a fun show. The action in the last episode felt like it was cut short a bit and wasn't completely satisfying what with the actually strong demonoids so quickly and successfully beating the retreat.
