Watched this because I kept seeing it recommended as an old classic along the lines of GoTS and Akira. Despite the cool armor, holy fuck it was extremely boring and a total waste of time. The only two good scenes were the sewer scenes in the beginning and end. Fuck anyone who recommends this shit it doesn't even come close to GoTS or Akira or Metropolis etc etc.

oath people just have a hard on for the death squads

>muh action
How does being literally retarded feel?

>Despite the cool armor, holy fuck it was extremely boring and a total waste of time.
this, i thought its going to be filled with actions

almost 3/4 of the movie they just talk and talk and talk

VERY low IQ post.

It's was an abortion of a live action movie, they had to make it 2d due to low budget.
While the animation and detail is great the potential and freedom animation offers is kidna wasted on this movie.
The story is very generic human drama in hard times cliche.
It's still pretty cool tough.

>watches pretentious artsy-tier
>surprised it's not action-tier
retard

I mean they have cool suits wouldn't you expect them to be used in battle

>Film showcases how applying the framing of a fairy tale to "real" conflicts is a deeply flawed reduction of moral complexity
>why isn't there more shooting
Holy fuck, it's like you're actually too stupid for anime

there exists battle which uses that suits

How does it feel to have such shit taste?

What the fuck is GoTS?

Game of Thrones Super

I unironically thought the same thing.

Seems like your IQ was too low to fully understand the plot.

I feel like they kind of overdid it with the fairytale though. I don't need to be reminded it's a parallel to red riding hood every five minutes.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, but the plot is very simple. The only thing that requires at least a bit of thinking is making sure who belongs to which group.

I'd disagree, I feel the repetition of those elements was necessary because what's happening is specifically not a parallel to red riding hood, it just wants to impress that frame of reference onto the scenes.
Fuse does not of his own accord act like the big bad wolf while Kei is not the innocent Red Riding Hood.

I guess I agree with how it's not exactly a parallel. I didn't choose the right word. Still, I believe I could connect these scenes without being explicitly told to do so.

Retard, I was denying the (you).

This is why recs are a waste of time. One person's masterpiece is another person's trash.

You just have to listen to someone with a similar taste. I've been recommended quite a lot of things I ended up loving.
