>He crawls underneath the police barrier and charges All Might

>More officers are called to restrain him and he has to be knocked unconscious before being removed from the scene

I think it's basically a very estranged friendship on the mend after they finally duked it out and confronted their problems head on. I mean it doesn't seem like Deku had many other kids/friends to play with that weren't also Bakugou's lackies. If Bakugou was his only "friend" for the longest time in combination with a severe lack of self-esteem and no one sticking up for him, I don't really blame Deku for clinging to him or finding reasons to like him. I don't really think Bakugou hates him so much now, but I think the hate mostly stemmed from his warped perception of Deku's intentions. He thought Deku was looking down on him. It definitely a strange one, thier dynamic.

Always felt Hori can portray Deku's destructive tendency to reach out to people as a twisted way to measure his self worth. All Might is partially responsible for this because he rewarded Deku (for the first time in his life) with approval. It can make for an intriguing read to explore whether Deku's kindness is really healthy at all, and Hori did sort of touch on the subject when he got Ochako to ask "who helps the heroes in need?"

It might be rather gloomy subject in a battle shounen though

Why does this always happen to Shounen? It starts laser focused and cohesive and then at some point all momentum stops and the books just start meandering from side story to side story and side character to side character, never really advancing the plot but always advancing power creep.
