All you have to do is to learn a better chakra control, no kkg elements/magic eyes/bijuu/clan related bullshit required. Chakra scapels+chakra palm healing+poison mastery+some basic chakra enhanced strength and boom you're become more valuable than 90℅ of the shinobi world. No, that's different kind of clone. Basic academy bunshin no jutsu is just a cheap mirage clone while kagebunshin is a real tangible clone who can perform jutsu and stuffs. But still even genin Konohamaru could master it, any average chunin should be able to do it too had they really tried to learn the shadow clone.

They have to make two regular clones not shadow clones. The English version doesn't explain this well, but bunshin no jutsu is just an illusion that can't be used to fight. Kage bunshin no jutsu still disappear when hit but they can also fight.
I think it's forbidden because it splits up your chakra so unless you have Kyuubi reserves you'd be killed more easily if your teamwork with your clones wasn't enough to overwhelm your opponent. Actually it seems like most of Tobirama's jutsu are forbidden for non-obvious reasons. I doubt edo tensei is forbidden because of the human sacrifice part-- as if he cares about that. It's probably forbidden because as Madara explained to the five kage, the revived person can release it at any moment so you could revive someone stronger than you but lose control.

The only forbidden version is just the mass shadow clones tho, that's why it's A-rank. Regular 1-5 shadow clones is just a normal B-rank jutsu. Indeed splitting your juices into hundreds-thousands of clones are straight up suicide, but there's nothing wrong with casting a couple of shadow clones.
